Increased Teleporter particle visibility range.

Artificer's alternate Utility Skill now requires a second input to execute multiple times.
Fixed temporary Dio's Friend making the player unkillable when consumed.
Fixed a softlock when using the Loader's alternate Secondary Skill into a pit.
Fixed info for locked trials being openable by clicking.
Corrected the Lynx Totem's killscreen icon.
Fixed a crash when collecting Classified Access Codes in "Judgement".
Removed player hitstun from the "Castle of Memories" Providence Trial.
Fixed a possible softlock in the "Castle of Memories" Providence Trial.
Decreased invincibility frames on Miner's default Secondary Skill.

Its crazy how hopoo don't care about their games. It was just like "How about making DLC breaking balance and changing the whole game idea to "loot faster, bro", sell rights to our publisher and making reboot of the RoR without any balance tweaks about most important problems? Hell yeah, I'm in!"
@@dukeofhollow5541As someone who was with this franchise since RoR2 EA release, I can tell you that Hopoo's main problem is that they shouldn't be allowed to balance their games. They literally have no clue what a good balance.
Their entire mindset is "if it's not broken, don't fix it" in the worst possible way.
The worst part is that they do sometimes care. Which is why we get some amazing things from them, while also shit like this

Sniper’s piercing shot has lower friction so with a few movement items you can backflip into scope and get a lot of distance from it
i love doing that lol
the slide into that huge damage shot is so satisfying

Artificer was my 2nd favorite character in RoR2, but I cannot get myself to like her in Returns. Chakrams just feel... bad. I'm glad flamethrower and wall are usable, but I still feel like they did my girl dirty with the chakrams. Additionally, Nano Bomb and Spear are far less useful.
I've been enjoying the game alot more on Monsoon with just a 125% damage modifier.
It helps you stay above the difficulty curve a bit easier, while not entirely circumventing the difficulty of Monsoon
It depends on survivor imo, like if you're playing a lot of lower damage survivors the additional damage makes the game feel normal but if you are playing some of the busted characters it's too much. Characters like commando, bandit, and huntress fall pretty far behind without the damage modifier if you aren't getting good rng.
Meanwhile loader just goes from fucking insane to trivially easy.

3 best characters are drifter, loader (with alt special) and merc (with alt secondary). Hand D used to be the worst, but artificer came in strong and completely displaced him as the worst.
3:10 and thats why enforcer DOES suck, because you can only play defensively for like the first couple of stages. but once an overwhelming amount of enemies show up, including plenty of elites who can bypass the very gimmick that makes enforcer defensive, enforcers defensive playstyle becomes basically worthless and in result hes just becomes a very lackluster character. after having to play him for several achievements and also for his judgement trial is what lead me to beleive this.

Small arti tech: you can cancel out of Flamethrower with any other ability. If you don't want to commit to a full Flamethrower, just use a basic attack to get out of it!
If you look at the bottom right before any run, you can see modifiers, because modifies like that can be changed between players.
I've been playing this game on the switch. Fun quick game to whip out when out and about. Arti is OP btw

I tried doing an E8 run with flamethrower for ghits and shiggles and man....yeah I appreciate it so much more in RorR now
Yesterday i have the same issue when playing Acrid on Rainstorm, i was so happy of winning until i saw the (2x) and the (0.1x) in the scoreboard
If her dps is really that bad then it wouldn't have been to much to ask to give her the glide back from risk of rain 2

What probably happened with Flamethrower is that people haven't played Artificer since the fucking alpha of the game's release, where burn stacked independently of itself.

200% damage on but magma worms don't actually have too much health, especially considering you can hit them twice with piercing attacks sometimes (see how when it was going back down into the flamethrower it instantly)
magma worms die in a single flamethrower normally because infinite pierce + huge fucking damage from incinerate + magma worm damage being broken when they go off screen

There's an official risk of rain returns wiki, their wiki item list includes the unlock requirements for each item. If you're in mobile you might not be able to see it unless you scroll to the right of the items

I beat the tha game first. Try on enforcer. I think he's really good and fun. Easily my second favorite character behind the engineer.
how did Providence oneshot you so easily with 90% protection?
jokes aside skulls always bring you to 1 health.
Those skull orbs don't deal damage, they just set your hp to 1.
No shame in using intensity scaling in this game for damage i recommend 125 for drizzle, 150 for rainstorm and 200 for monsoon if no artifacts are used

I tried to play arty with Ion Surge in RoR2. Just doesn't work for me
just ion surge to stay in air or nuke a mob of melee enemies rushing u on ground
use her shock orb from the air learn its aerial arching since it hits in a huge aoe as it passes enemies
just stay in the air forever raining destruction
you can sprint while floating for use of any items that buff u while sprinting in air too and to make yourself harder to hit
wisps and flying vermin and flying lunar/void enemies are your biggest priority and maybe clay templar everything else isnt going to hit you easily or at all up there
it kinda trivializes things especially in eclipse where fall damage and getting hit is a serious issue
add equipment like rocket launcher and you just become a floating gunship
surge arti in ror2 is absolutely incredible like hell not needing feathers (can make her float activation funky sometimes) and having unparalleled vertical maneuverability is so busted when you consider it allows you to get to spots nothing spawns at then chuck aoe orbs at will
its weird at first but dont write it off yet it is absolutely better then flame thrower

Flamethrower is your early game carry and your mid game proc beast, you're just used to play slow and run around doing nothing during cooldowns
