For engineer I actually took the crystal use item that resets your cooldowns. Made keeping turret uptime up a breeze since I could essentially place one every 6 seconds. Could also use "on low health" type items effectively since the turrets would die, trigger things like timekeepers and I could just place another down.
@@MooseWrld Yeah just noting it as a surprisingly effective straegy, though it only really works with engi I suppose. Came close to being effective with acrid too since you can spread poison more often but not having stopwatch hurts too much.
Great video! It helped me so much with the some characterers, unfortunately i did miner as my second win before i watched the video, and it was a pain. But it helped me so much with enforcer and robomando, especially the cheese strat with the chests by the little guy! Thank you.
Good video but a few things i didnt like mainly involve some item choices, mainly not going for scepter stage 1 for acrid since it gives a small heal on kill allowing you to stay in the fight for longer, also i reccomend stacking attack speed over bleed for commando, by the end your firerate is so fast only one bleed is nessary and by providence having your stopwatch up you can use wicked ring to spam your special with your crit chance
I tried acrid a few times with different builds, including the scepter, and the build I provided is the one I had the easiest time with. Also, wicked ring is such a good item, you can't really go wrong taking it in this challenge, but I like hyper threader just a little bit more in this scenario.
judgment is really cool in that every video i watch or person i talk to about it, im always told super different opinions on what items to take and what strategies to use. but even if i did it one way, people who do it differently still beat the trial and see success. the items i took for my characters on judgment are pretty different compared to the choices you made. but it shows that everything is honestly quite balanced about the trial, and that theres no “definitive” best item picks (unless someone later down the line discovers something game changing.)
I agree, in that I think this game is well balanced. And the purpose of this video isn't necessarily to say "these things are the best". It's to help people that are having trouble beating it or who want some strategy before going in. I know these things work, and they are the tips I used or discovered that made my time with it easier.

Incredible guide, I was just wondering what the name of the song starting at 3:53 is, I checked all of the songs from Lucas Surgeon on Spotify, but I may have missed it
Haha yeah he actually hasn't gotten around to putting it on Spotify yet because he's still looking for album art. I'll reply to this comment when he puts it up though! @@teniom
Hit list on the Engineer is an incredibly subpar option when one of the starting items is literally Gigantic Amethyst. You're practically shooting yourself in the leg if you don't pick it Pick Amethyst at the start and then Scepter after round 1 and you'll have the easiest Engineer win you've ever had All other tips are spot on tho, good stuff
I mean, I picked hit list and I also had the easiest engineer win I've ever had. Yeah amethyst is good, but I knew I was just going to take captains broach, so I'd rather have a permanent damage buff
Hardlight afterburner on enforcer makes everything but the boss fight much easier. You can just spam the ability and practically nothing can touch you.
You can't use one of the provided heals after every stage until you get to the bungus because there aren't enough. You should try to save as much health as you can on one stage so that you can heal to full before the more difficult ones. @@rubixclockpog
The tips for robomando are useless for me since i always get killed at level 2 so please do you have more thing that you could tell me for the second level?
I halfy gave up and also hoping for a way to cheese this. Surly it´s a challenge but I don´t like the oneshot thread of RoR while also not regenerating Some of the enemy attacks I´m not sure, better asking now then never Cremater and Temple guardian shots only hit where thex land/explode right? I can safley run through them as long as I don´t stand still And the Frenzied Toxic Beast is just way too strong but I saw on another video how the guy just stood in it while it was running, still that does damage? How do you correctly dodge the Toxic Beast without time stop? Or do you just not and wait for time stop?
You can wait and only approach the toxic beast in a time stop, but it also only does damage on the ground it's stomping. The game is made of tiles, and there are two tiles sticking out of the ground in the hive cluster stage. Standing on those should keep you from getting damaged by the beast's stomping. Also, I think cremators shots can do damage on the way, but honestly, I'm not sure. I know that the temple guards only damage the white circles.
For drifter I wouldn't take shield or heart at the start and instead take crystal then take scepter after stage 1. its super fun spamming items
true. Crystal is really good on drifter in this
I took scepter to start but he’s by far the easiest to beat it with. Definitely make sure you get a scepter and crystal at some point though
Take hit list first since you can get crystal and scepter from later shops

Yeah, crystal works great too, I just like my items! This isn't an exhaustive list of strategies, just thing I know work

@Eskinor have you considered the ridiculousness that is crystal with drifter?
@@gomethins7738 For some reason I didn't but drifter is super good enough to not need it anyway
Another upload!!! Yay!!

scepter is CRAZY for acrid, poisoned enemies healing you gives you such free will its crazy
This item carried me through the whole judgement trial
Alright I'll give it another shot with scepter

yo thanks for the help, i was having alot of trouble on engineer and enforcer
I hate enforcer's trial. Took me the longest out of anybody
Acrid's 4th skill heals him on kill with the Ancient Scepter, so that's another good option.
I did the Judgement trial for robommando FIRST TRY. WITHOUT using the chests from the captains brooch. Took me 30 minutes, but it was so worth it.
Much respect, it took me a few tries to even get to the equipment. Well done!
Crystal with Engineer to start is great, since you can spam turrets to take pressure from you, and eventually abuse Time Keeper's.
Yeah whatever
Genuinely suprised no one said afterburner for engi. It lets you spam missiles at all times, and you can still take amethyst for turret meatshields.
There are kind of a lot of ways to win on engineer. Probably didn't even really need to cover them.
Hardlight afterburner on enforcer makes everything but the boss fight much easier. You can just spam the ability and practically nothing can touch you.
Nice guid but what were you referencing with "hitless"? How do you activate that?
I'm not sure I understand your question. Do you have a time stamp?
@@MooseWrld Oh never mind I misunderstood you said "hit list" as hitless
Also what was the thing about "saving a single heal" for bungus at 2:45?
You can't use one of the provided heals after every stage until you get to the bungus because there aren't enough. You should try to save as much health as you can on one stage so that you can heal to full before the more difficult ones. @@rubixclockpog

No and no. Totally optional.

Maybe i can beat the first stage now
fat chance
