2. Specific to miner - I don't see you jump melee. Jump melee for miner is OP.
yeah I absolutely should have mentioned this but jumping around gives a bunch of extra movement while attacking. There are a few points in the video where it's shown but it's not really called out in the voice over
Barbed wire, icicle, and blood bag, is a good combo of items for miner too
rock and stone, until it is done.
One extra green item that's great on miner (though its great on literally everyone lol) is prophets cape! Like a bunch of the other items you mentioned, it synergizes really well with the self-damage and "risky" playstyle of the character. Great video!
Yeah! I felt silly watching it back because in the background footage I actually use that trick somewhere for free heat, and then entirely forget to mention it XD

Something to note about movement, back blast into drill charge is faster than the other way around. The drill charge can’t be “canceled” while BB can

The Synthetik series is a cousin of RoR. Anyone who likes RoR should check it out. There are cross references in each game. The devs clearly played each others games. The soundtrack in Synthetik 1 and 2 are just as iconic

Another suggestion I'd have for channel growth might be challenges/item unlocks. I know there's tons out there already, but for those of us that are already here and like of style and pacing of yours, I for one will definitely stick around.

8:12 i use regular primary, secondary and burnout. You use i frames from secondary regular to use free burnout. Great for early game and stage travelling.

Re: Drill Charge - the point of the no cooldown is that you can tap it instead of holding it while charging, and repeated do quick dashes back and forth without spending heat. Holding it during scorching actually just spends the heat without any particular advantage. It's only helpful to hold it if you want to push enemies away or grind them against a wall. Build up scorching, then tap it to dash, turn around, tap it again, and repeat until a group's dead.
The only short range ability Miner has of his defaults is the primary, which should only be used sparingly. The alts are all worse, particularly alt 3 being one of the worst alts in the game compared to the back dash. The dashes have an alarmingly large hitbox in front and behind the Miner, making them midrange attacks, and the 4th skill is a fullscreen vertical attack downward, allowing you to do safe aerial bombardments with enough jetpacks or Hopoo Feathers when you're not dashing through enemies.

idk if you know this but you can zoom out your camera a lot, its one of the first settings
I recently found that and it's amazing lol, I can see EVERYTHING >:D
I just take miner with almost all offensive items and a few mobility, as he just doesn't need defensive
With any of the 2 dashes (preferably the default dash) you can literally be invincible
Dash, Burnout, Dash, Burnout and so on, as you are invincible a few seconds after a dash, mash burnout and you get free damage and heat, no health penalty. With a Hardlight afterburner you have infinite heat and invincibility

IT DOES, that's very nice, a small note cuz he sits so far behind you, it's a bit easy for the range of main 1 to hit and keep the enemy out of range of your clone, but using alt 1 with clone would help in that regard AND fill the small awkward middle gap caused by the arc that some enemies can slip through. Good ask fren!

I honestly thought after beating monsoon with enforcer, nothing would get close to the pain and suffering it was playing with him until I got to miner. Miner’s damage output is just odd. I can easily take on several imp overlords at once yet a damned crab is an avengers level threat. I seriously don’t understand it. His stock primary is expectedly short range which leads to problems with the aforementioned crabs and golems (legit the only class I’ve experienced so far to even remotely have a problem with these two enemies like why). Then there is his alt primary which solves that problem but opens of a new one of literally going over smaller enemy’s heads, sort of defeating the purpose of using a longer ranged alternative. The secondaries are both fine, no complaints here, but the alt utility is just kinda awkward. Like hell I’m sacrificing a quarter of my health bar which I probably don’t even have anymore because of my nigh inability to avoid damage as a melee class just for some extra heat. The last thing I’d like to mention is the special. Why does it feel like I am throwing pebbles on the enemies bellow, your special might as well not exist due to how weak it is. I get that it’s supposed to be used several times in a row, but it still feels like I’m just hitting the enemy with an extra primary attack and wasting time to use my actually primary. I don’t want to hate miner, but come on man, I just don’t get how everyone says he’s the goat and all.
Generally, is it better to avoid using To the Stars while scorching and only make use of Drill Dash?
As long as you're keeping an eye on your scorch gauge, you can fire off a couple to do some really good damage to enemies without launching them all around, then get a few melee hits in on said crowd to replenish heat, that being said it can also be very effective to just spam single tap dashes, pushing enemies into a corner and stun-locking them with no heat cost, and the occasional back blast for it's big scorching damage. So I wouldn't say avoid it, but you do need to be aware of your meter when you're using it

How can you get the item arms race? What the tip?
For Arms race it's an unlock using HAN-D, just gotta kill ten enemies with one swing of his main 4th ability, since it has such a huge hit box this is fairly easy just soften up some enemies with a few slaps, then overclock and BONK
I had ~20 runs and reached 4th stage plenty of times but none of them was the variant with the miner unlock 😂
Use classic stages only rule to give yourself a better chance

@@wingdingfontbro It was a while ago so I don't remember but I know you can't chain invincibility in the overheated phase so your survivability is way lower. Also it's a lot harder to stay in the overheated form
