My kids love this song/video, my belly(about a sea otter)and long legged larry. My wife and I woke up to this video playing and my youngest singing the song. I woke up laughing and proud. My wife woke up ready to yell at me thinking I was the one who put it on. Nope my 5yr old got on UA-cam searched foe and found Kirby and started singing to the video.

I think the main reason you feel the "double meaning" is simply because of the last line: "15 years taking prescriptions, now a shrink like "I don't know maybe get a kitten?""
You look at this happier, fun, jovial piece of hip hop focusing on having fun with a cat, but in the end you realize the reason he's so focused on this cat is because he has struggled with depression for at least 15 years and prescription medication isn't even helping him. The therapist is running out of ideas to help and just recommends getting a kitten to try and help with his depression.

It's interesting to me. I know people who only speak English that cant handle Aesop. I feel like this should be Klingon to you guys.
Even though this is a lighter, fun track from Aes, you can still hear his masterful flow, bars, and lyricism.

Kevin is missing the first 2 parts of the story and that why its a tad confuing , "get out of the car" and "shrunk" are the first two (in order)
