what you think about getting your conditioning after strength workout? E.g. go rucking.
    Than you could go for:
    1st day strength + conditioning
    2nd day hypertrophie
    3rd day rest
    4th day ...
I understand the idea of breaking the 7 day week, but most people probably manage better to have consistent week schedule & with this apporach you would fit it into the regular work week and would be free on weekends :)

I actually almost always recommend conditioning after lifting.

@@DanJohnStrengthCoach noted. thx for your answer :). Probably jumping rope is to heavy impact on strength? Or just adjust the duration to keep it easy?

Dan John: Eight days a week could be a song. Write this down, someone.

I would personally focus on Strength, with the biggest emphasis.
Weapon of choice would be barbells or heavy sandbags...
Exercises would be strict press, deadlift/sandbag floor clean, weighted pistol squat, heavy strict single arm bicep curls.
And I would do push ups, pull ups in grease the groove fashion. Push ups is the best exercise ever created in the history of mankind. It gets you jacked. If you just hit failure with this and the bw squats and throw in the heavy curls and that's it, you will get jacked, and if you keep eating, but yeah, I will grease the groove with that and pull ups.
Push ups and pull ups with strict form are BEST for conditioning AND size and strength.

I agree with the push ups , i made better progress than bench press ,i am even planning to do weighted push up if it is doable after covid

@Mohammed Wells i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process now.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.

Would Monday- strength, Wednesday-KB EMOM (for endurance), Friday- Hypertrophy work ? Maybe walking on Tuesday and Thursdays. As I’m nearly 65 every other day training is maybe enough for me with mobility added. Regards from England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿.

I'm about to start another round of ES (5x a week) and I'm also preparing for a 10k run event. I'm planning to do my low heat training right after some of my ES sessions. I'm happy to just hold on to my strength while i run 3 times a week. Any thoughts on this coach?

For most people, that’s probably the right formula. Let us know how it goes.

You can chase three rabbits if it's in eight days week.

Ironwolf does a lot of burpees... a whole lot, not the biggest dude but certainly not a bad looking physique which is geared towards combat.

You're welcome to do them if you like them. I just don't. I haven't seen them add value to my athletes.
