Being a native from Vegas (born in 81 and moved in 2004) I went there shortly after it opened. I loved Klingon Encounter more than Borg 4-D Invasion. I really wished I had taken my picture on the Enterprise bridge... :-\ I too am sad it closed, I wanted to take my wife there.
I had so much fun here. I rember ordering a "warp-core breach" at Quark's bar, and then having a drunken discussion with a Klingon officer who literally knew EVERYTHING about Star Trek History. Everything. I tried to stump him and he cut right through it, in character. In full-regalia. Its was amazing.
I was in Las Vegas at Hilton when Star Trek, Experience Exhibition was there. This little snippet doesn't begin show how exciting. Especially the transporter event.
I remember standing in the back of the bridge in awe thinking - I know what each of these consoles do. I sooooo wanted to start pushing buttons, but the crew were mind-readers and command me not to touch anything before I even made a move. The transporter effect was wicked cool... still trying to figure out exactly how they did it all these years later.
This was a great attraction. I was in Vegas for a conference. My first day there was a travel day, so I spent it here and in Quark's Bar. Ahh, the Romulan Ale. I must have gone through the simulator ride seven times. It was a weekday and it wasn't busy. The last time through I have to admit I touched several of the control stations. Great times.....
Bryan this is insanely cool. Thank you for all your hard work! And thank you April & Kerstan, the first two actors hired for the theme park for reprising your roles for the audio!
Sitting in the Captains chair and seeing those 3 bird of pray, I instantly thought of: "let's make sure history never forgets the name... Enterprise. Red Alert"
Vernon, thanks for providing this to DP and continuing to be true to your ST:EXP heritage. Was good to meet up with you at the decommissioning ceremony and after party. Hope you are well. Regards, Bart Yee
I remember when I went through this, and Riker said "one of you is an ancestor of Picard," I said (a bit too loudly perhaps) _"Un de nous? C'est pas possible!"_
I had a Dream years ago where I find myself in a Deadly Game with the Borg We just Separated the Saucer and Im sitting on the BattleBridge While the Saucer heads to DeepSpace9 away from the Battle near the earth upon arrival The ViewScreen pops on and I see and old Friend on Screen she was Half Borg meaning everywhere below her neck was covered in Borg implants I forget how we defeated The Borg because just before I woke up in real life I had ordered Abandonship because the Warpcore was about to blow. It felt real
@@atomic_wait My understanding has always been that they were allies, not just "not fighting". Remember that the council brought in Picard to settle the conflicting claims to power of Gowron and Durass clan. They would only do that with someone they trusted not someone they'd merely ceased fighting with.
@@tradewins After some googling, it seems the Khitomer Accords were merely peace treaties, and the Treaty of Alliance occured at a somewhat vague later date. The writing seems to conflate the two events quite a bit, might just be sloppy continuity.
That was most fun I had in Vegas was the Star Trek exhibit. Sad they canned it. But business is business. Oh and if any thinks they can do this with DISCOVERY!!! I kill myself if I could be Mikey Burnham's ancestor!
Everytime i went to vegas, i visited this place. I lovrd wuarks bar also. Thank you for the memories. I misd this place.
Shot in 360 mode, no guests that I can see. Thank you for the great memory!
So sad they closed this - we were lucky to catch this before they closed the attraction. So much fun! Thanks for posting this!

98, 99, 02, and 04 were the only times I got to visit Star Trek the Experience. Quarks bar and grill was really cool.
WOW WOW WOW I was in that Vegas show back in '98. Great project!!! Thank you.

Miss you, we need and love you, come back to Vegas!!!

It was a wonderful experience
i had my picture taken while sitting in the captains chair, what a thrill the star trek experience was

I live to serve.
I love looking around the bridge as I wish just by using my finger and guiding the picture, left, right, and up and down.
Temporal investigations is going to have a field day with this one.
I want to go to this SOOO bad now!!!

Federation Ship Enterprise, lower your shields and prepare to be boarded.
Just realized, they used the Shuttlebay Set from Star Trek V: The Final Frontier with Riker and Geordi in that scene.

Looks amazing...
Wow... this gives me goosebumps
I went to this and then had drinks at Quarks and bought one of the menus. Great time. I'm very sure my wife was not as excited as I was. 😬
Lol
I went specifically to Vegas for this ride and was saddened when it was closed.
Thanks for adding this!
Wish I had a chance to experience this when it was around...
Brilliant!

I did this in the early 2000s.
I went when it was the Borg that was looking for an ancestor back in 99 or 2000.
Oh no! I was sent back in time to the 20th century and then kidnapped and pulled forward into the 24th century! I'm so confused!
I attended this too. Did everyone else experience the Ferengi and Klingon walking past the line before the event began?
I still have a VHS! of one wishing us a happy marriage as we were there on our anniversary.
DO COOL Man
👍🏼💓🥺☺️🤗😉🙃🤩🥰😍😘
So many temporal prime directive violations.
pretty cool except why are you not in the captain's chair
If this were truly authentic,we would be standing behind the captain's chair.
because you're not the captain?
The problem with this is that the Klingons weren't enemies of the Federation at the time of TNG, but allies.
Were they allies, or simply cosigners on a peace treaty? I don't think they entered a full on alliance until the Dominion wars, right?
Oh my god I've become a trekkie

@@atomic_wait I have too much going on in my life to worry about this

If i was VERY RICH i would HIRE the people who created this and get it built in my home
