Domt argree with all the click baity/ cringy titles but i get it. Its a business. What a great get for the pod. Not a well known guy but the legit, real deal legend.
@@JulianDorey its not ridiculous. I guarantee anyone whos served looks at titles like that and chuckles. All the Deadliest, Black Ops, CIA Assassin, and the like is just video game click bait, along with the goofy, Ghost Recon visuals sometimes used. Like i said, i get it. It draws attention from the masses. Doesnt mean i wont poke fun at it.
@@JulianDorey thanks Homie! It means the world that you responded back to that. I’m constantly messaging on your videos as I’m a huge fan! 215 all the way baby.
I absolutely love your show. The amount of work u put into this is obvious cuz it shines bright. Not sure if there's anything you can do, like turn down the sensitivity on mics. I can hear everytime someone swallows their spit like they are in my ear.
Thank you my man! I'll keep working on the audio as I always do -- but I also won't lie to you: I do love the personal, right there raw feel that does include some stuff like that. Traditional audio engineering sounds like the 6 o'clock news from the 90's to me
So how do you know the wind direction and speed; moreover, HTF do you know the wind direction at 1000+ yards from multiple directions?! Not doubting just how?
Depending on terrain, if you know the general direction of the wind at your point, you can judge the terrain and make some assumptions on what it is doing at distances. If there are landmarks like trees or brush and steady wind you use that. A lot of it is feel and experience, combined with some technology. A Kestral weather station is pocket sized and will tell you wind direction and speed quickly and those are used by civilians who shoot long range /precision rifle competitions all the time….
1:06:00 - dude I rlly believe you’re gonna hit 1M subs by the end of the year. Cuz you don’t half ass any interview. You are too in tune to not get any recognition. Not saying you aren’t recognized or that subscribers dictate what recognition is. Im just sayin.. you should’ve hit 1M a long time ago.
Well thank you for sticking with me Kurt, I appreciate this a ton brotha ✊ It's coming. When the door creaks open -- those hinges are gonna be history. 💯
Agreed. This is the only podcast I actually share on social media and try to promote, because when I first started listening I was looking at the views and it simply didn't match the quality of these interviews. I hate seeing some stupid youtube short with 4 million views and then see content like this not getting a fraction of that. Quality work should be rewarded. Also, I appreciate the lack of ads and that Julian engages with his supporters/viewers.
My brother went through RIP, and I had to go through RASP at the very cusp of its inception. I feel like for sure we got smoked way more than he did. My brother said he mainly did a ton of land nav in rip. For those that don’t know rasp is 8 weeks, split into 2 phases. We learn everything right after airborne school like hand to hand combat, some jujitsu and judo. First phase is more physical, alot of running, second phase was more on the technical side and we finished with the marksman course. I haven’t made my way to Beret’s yet but my brother said the training was 100 times worse than rip, and at the time you know rip was known for just absolutely smoking dudes. So I’m excited and nervous to see what is in store for me when I venture down the green beret path, if that’s where I go. Im about to go to the Middle East for the first time, not sure where yet, but after this deployment is when I’m gonna decide on the green beret route.
1:55:18 - you can watch all the raw coverage from each news outlet, and there was a helicopter attempting to rescue ppl from the top. You can see them struggling to get in close due to all the smoke and heat. So I find it odd when ppl mention the helicopter thing cuz they usually assume/suggest they didn’t even make an attempt. I believe there was even getting a helicopter and having sufficient fuel. But maybe I missed something(?).
I remember a Royal Marine Commando SRS (Brigade Patrol Troop) was caught trying to smuggle a MARS Bar up his ass on SERE. (UK I was part of the Hunter force.) Sidenote British use Warrior IFV at 2:46.29 But does similar job. In Afghan they where also mixing animal waste and human waste into bombs to create secondary infections etc.. nasty tactics like that. 2:47.15 I did my first tour in 2002 in Afghanistan My last in 2012 got out in 2013 (British Army)

OK...I'm older than most out here and vividly remember 9/11 and the following few weeks. I question this guys statement about flying back to Okinawa on the 13th. He said it was an "expensive ticket." The problem is, commercial flights were grounded for a week after 9/11. Only thing flying was military, medical and the President. So, I need clarification. I'm sure memories get confounded when under that much trauma.😢
My ex was from El Salvador she was adopted and they flew out back to her new home in America on the last day air travel was allowed to move around there it was a civil war…..🤔
Haha THIS FREAKING GUY! This is the dudes that’s been through it all literally watched it all go down through a lens! This very first story he gave us w/ an actual engagement was sooo real. Taking a pic of the guy, going from lackadaisical to super serious. The commander got hit in the calf. If you notice how he touched the top side of his head when telling you the commander was hit in the calf? Makes me think the AK guy was hit right where he touched his head. Let me stop with the psychoanalysis.
@gunnerwright7793 Are you speaking from experience? Doubtful. I was joking but trust and believe there are plenty civilians all over America that grew up in the woods. Concealment and reconnaissance is basic. Judging distance quickly, controlling your heart rate, and making the shot is the challenge. Can you shoot a target the size of an apple at 350 yds when your adrenaline is pumping? I can. You don’t learn that at the shooting range. The man being interviewed knows. We’re from the same place. It’s how we were raised.
We the tax payers are paying the Talaban 40 to 87 millon dollars a week. We fought them for over20 yrs. How stupid is this even after leaving billions in materials and equipment, weapons, ammo, vehicles, aircraft & on & on SAD wake up America
Julian, you need to do some studying. You ask the same questions a third grader would ask. Love the show but I'm amazed every episode at your responses. I have to smoke so I don't get mad.
Male and female are the distinctions of nature, good and bad the distinctions of Heaven; but how a race of men came into the world so exalted above the rest, and distinguished like some new species, is worth inquiring into, and whether they are the means of happiness or of misery to mankind.

Thank you Kristina -- enjoy!
@@JulianDorey you already know
I wouldn’t still be here….
How TF does this video only have 3,500 likes?!?! A damn shame.
F×cking fascinating !! Thank you both !! 👏🏽
Thank you for watching Carl!
@JulianDorey I never miss brother ! YOU, Shawn Ryan and Mike Ritland are my joint first podcast of all time. Keep smashing it bro. Im watching from London.
Julian ~ you are doing better and better!!!
Thank you!
Danny is a good dude pretty humble, ive done longe range shooting at his place in Texas with a group of dudes playing dudes Disguised as dudes, he was best friends with my cousins roommate friends who knew a dude
Ah yeah, i think i know the dudes you are refering to, i myself know a dude who knew a dude who knows those dudes.
Another Banger Julian
Thank you Mike! The second ep with Danny dropped today and it is intense as f***
Great content 👌
Thank you Roberto!
@2:18 the fighter jet that got shot down was made into a movie (can’t think of his name) but it was ah great movie of him trying to escape capture, there’s afew good known actors in it.. I’m surprised no one remembered or seen that movie
Domt argree with all the click baity/ cringy titles but i get it. Its a business. What a great get for the pod. Not a well known guy but the legit, real deal legend.
Alright i cant let this one go by bc it’s so ridiculous. What part of this title is click baity? 100 hundred percent FACTS in every word.
There’s one SR-71 in Huntsville AL at the space a rocket center. Pretty awesome to see !!
Just received the new merchandise shirts that were made. Looking forward to rocking them. Let’s go Eagles and Phillies baby.
LFG! Thank you for buying some merch brotha ✊
@@JulianDorey thanks Homie! It means the world that you responded back to that. I’m constantly messaging on your videos as I’m a huge fan! 215 all the way baby.
Weird camera glitch at 2:10:04, just to let you know. What an amazing video regardless and great story
As a lockpicker, Id like to know more about that and what the hardest lock you have picked is.
Comayagua is the town outside Pomerola he was talking about. I remember the bar from my trip in 86-87.
Traditional audio engineering sounds like the 6 o'clock news from the 90's to me
@@JulianDorey much love, sir!
Yeah that’s my Dad.
Forreal?
@@JulianDorey yeah. Me and my brother Wes (he’s also in the military). The one year old in the 9/11 story is our half sister.
@@25taylor91 your dad is f*cking awesome ✊💯
Your father is a legend. Thank you to you and your family for the sacrifices you've made. You have all my respect!
My brother and your dad worked together in 1st group. 🤘🏻
Well thank you for sticking with me Kurt, I appreciate this a ton brotha ✊
It's coming.
Love is everything
Yes

Best. Damn. Podcast. In. The. Business.

this is going to be great❤
Yes it is
1:55:18 - you can watch all the raw coverage from each news outlet, and there was a helicopter attempting to rescue ppl from the top.
In Kosovo at the same time, I saw the “peace keeping” mission side. Interesting to hear the other side.
Small world
The only shooter to say the jfk shots were impossible. 😂
This dude fucking rules! What a legend!
Retweet!
These last two episodes haven’t updated in my podcast feed. Have they not been uploaded?
What do you mean?
@@JulianDoreyI use a podcast app called Overcast and they aren’t there. I also checked the iOS podcast app and they aren’t there either. I use overcast the most and all your other episodes are there. Maybe a glitch somewhere?
I had to keep checking the video to make sure it wasn’t Harland Williams speaking.
Haha
OK...I'm older than most out here and vividly remember 9/11 and the following few weeks. I question this guys statement about flying back to Okinawa on the 13th. He said it was an "expensive ticket." The problem is, commercial flights were grounded for a week after 9/11. Only thing flying was military, medical and the President. So, I need clarification. I'm sure memories get confounded when under that much trauma.😢
My ex was from El Salvador she was adopted and they flew out back to her new home in America on the last day air travel was allowed to move around there it was a civil war…..🤔
Canadians who had the record, Rob Furlong & Dallas Alexander

Haha THIS FREAKING GUY! This is the dudes that’s been through it all literally watched it all go down through a lens! This very first story he gave us w/ an actual engagement was sooo real. Taking a pic of the guy, going from lackadaisical to super serious. The commander got hit in the calf. If you notice how he touched the top side of his head when telling you the commander was hit in the calf? Makes me think the AK guy was hit right where he touched his head. Let me stop with the psychoanalysis.
Haha thats some serious analysis!
Why do I get the feeling that this is the guy satterly couldn’t stand. Maybe it’s just the fact that he get to throttled up by fire team action
2:16:00 easiest machine gun nest takedown in history 😂😂

@gunnerwright7793 Are you speaking from experience? Doubtful. I was joking but trust and believe there are plenty civilians all over America that grew up in the woods. Concealment and reconnaissance is basic. Judging distance quickly, controlling your heart rate, and making the shot is the challenge. Can you shoot a target the size of an apple at 350 yds when your adrenaline is pumping? I can. You don’t learn that at the shooting range. The man being interviewed knows. We’re from the same place. It’s how we were raised.

Male and female are the distinctions of nature, good and bad the distinctions of Heaven; but how a race of men came into the world so exalted above the rest, and distinguished like some new species, is worth inquiring into, and whether they are the means of happiness or of misery to mankind.
