Hi. Very interesting. My Mokka bout won’t open and we’re trying to sort out ourselves. It was making a noise via opener button but not opening, to nothing at all. Will it be either the opener button or the mechanism? Thanks x
Hi there im looking for some advise please, my daughter has a 2011 vauxhall corsa D the issue she has is the passenger door wont lock via keyfob or key, the driver and boot doors work as they should, When you press the door lock on the dashboard the driver and boot lock but not the passenger door, do you have any idea what might be at fault? Thanks Neil
My Vauxhall corsa D does the same. I press the lock button whilst still in the car (all doors must be shut) get out the car and then lock my driver door. It works that way.
Ran into similar on a new Peugeot Rifter. It's just a stupid idea to do away with a standard lock, marketed as an upgrade, but in realyjust a cost saving for the manufacturer. Knock on effect was that cruise control wouldn't work, as the car thought the boot was open, even though it was closed.
Vehicle manufacturers have gone crazy... the knock on effect on basic things can throw you off if you're not clued up I've seen so many people change components for no reason
Dont suppose you can give me an idea to what is wrong with my 2015 insignia 2.0 cdti ecoflex tourer (estate), i when i push the boot switch above reg plate it opens but won't raise on its on, i have to give it a hand 🤣, seems the electrics are working to unlock it so wondering if its the struts lifting it have a problem???
Great video, nice and straight to the point. What do you use for your wiring diagrams?

did you touch both lead to the brown and purple wire from each end of the plug? or was one on the brown and purple and one on another colour?
