Hello Jules - I have been told from a very talented resin artist that when you are combining your resin mixture to go by the amount of each one - example - one cup by one cup - not by weight because they aren’t the same thickness - just in case you might want to try it. Tkyu for sharing your beautiful talented art with us. 🌹🌹
Resin is always thicker than the hardener, but you must always follow the manufacturers instructions.

Love this video, and what I love is that you are showing the rest of us artists that, "ooops, this might not turn out how I wanted it, not sure about this one" and we have all been there, but it's OKAY!! I often see these videos and many artists show how perfectly their piece came out. But watching this, okay, a shell fell out of place while you were trying to pull your plastic off,..... but ya kept going and THAT's the stuff that gives ME confidence that not everything turns out perfectly. There are glitches, and sometimes they are happy mistakes, but... sometimes they are not, or they could totally ruin your piece that you worked so hard on. I'm saying, this helps us all realize the TRUE process of making art. Your art is fantastically beautiful and thank you for keeping it real and sharing with us! Blessings! :-)

This video kept popping up on my suggestions and I thought it was actually the color changing paints. The designs were unusual too so I decided to actually take a look and I'm glad I did! What an interesting way of using resin! I'm new to using resin, I normally sculpt with polymer clay. I've been watching a lot of resin videos and now I have new ideas! I am going to try this. You inspire me to give it a go. I don't have access to shells dollars or starfish so mine will have glittery teal rock edges. Maybe some tiny shells 🐚 I found on a beach ⛱. Wish me luck I am scared but very excited. Just not sure if timing as I have never tried this. I will send you a pic by email when done. I still have to find the disk lights. Thanks for inspiration. Super cool way to make sculptures. You might want to try using self contained media playing panels for the base. Then with fractal slideshows, animations, themed content around oceans and beaches from stock video websites would offer a plethora of new options for your customers. And would give you new means of selling upgrades to the content to your customers.
