You are so much like me and visa versa !!💖💖. I have a studio but have never done this sort of thing. Thanks to you I'm hooked. Your wonderful and your videos are terrific.
These are so awesome!!! I went to your store and saw that you were selling them for way less than the sea ones. I have no idea why! These are even better~ Love them! Great job and video!!
Heidi Ewing They cost less because the market is smaller, less decorations plus a little smaller in size. Thank you so much for the compliment and for watching 🌸
When r u going to do more of these and the ocean ones? Beach scene eye port? I went to your etsy store and you didn't have any on there. I love your work

Hi! You mention using contact paper in another video. Which do you prefer? The plastic in this video? (and if so, where do you get sheets of it? Would a plastic grocery bag work just as well, maybe, even though it would be significantly thinner? Also, what did you use to apply Tinkerbell securely (and other embellishments) after the resin was hard? Did you use resin for these also, or glue gun, or glue (if so what type of glue is strong enoguh to ensure nothing will fall off over time), etc.? Thanks! These nightlights are very sweet.
I don't use contact paper anymore because it's not flexible enough. I use a thick decorators plastic from the hardware store and use E6000 glue to secure the fairies or you could use epoxy glue. They will not fall off. Thanks for watching.🌸
Can you use glitter in your resin? I absolutely love all your work!!! And to think I only do countertops!! You truly are an artist, in every way. I know we try to,get rid of bubbles in epoxy, how would you keep bubbles in the epoxy, but not on the outer?
No they were really smooth. They needed no finishing - good question though. If I do get sharp edges on the bases I lightly sand with wet sand paper where needed. Or use a buffer nail tool with water- really lightly.
I’m having a terrible time with my plastic ? Maybe Sarah wrap is just not strong enough ? Any suggestions what else to pour on that is stronger . Thank you for any advise 🙏
K Kribernegg-bressler I never use Saran Wrap. It’s too thin and tears too easily. Use a heavy duty plastic that is shiny (the kind decorators use to cover floors). Good luck and thanks for watching 🌸
Thank you so much for your inspirations I always watch you videos I would love to show you what I have done but don’t know how to up load but thank you 😊
I haven’t seen the finished product yet and this is my first video but I absolutely love your creativity! Is there any reason you wouldn’t just use a thin silicone sheet rather than the plastic? It would seem like you should be able to reuse silicone and not all sheets are thick. For the pieces that fell off, they remind me of ruffles, could you put them back on using UV resin? Thank you so much for sharing your time and talent! I can’t wait to binge watch your channel and check out your Etsy shop. Much love ❤️

Initially I got them from Michaels (not sure if you live in the USA - big craft store) - then I made my own molds and any leftover resin I pour in and make my own now.
Both turned out so beautiful. I went to the product link and didn't see the actual plastic or paper you're using. Can you please tell me the name? Keep creating and sharing.
Hi Jules. I’ve just found your channel and subbed immediately. I’m in love with your work. Just such stunning pieces of art work.I was just wondering if it’s ok if I copied your beautiful sculptures myself. They’d look absolutely amazing on my art table as paint brush holders. I’d love one of these fairy 🧚🏼♀️ lights for myself as a night lamp. And making one for boys would also be amazing. Please let me know if you’re ok with me making this for myself. Also can you put water in them as they would also make beautiful Flower vases.Thank you regards cherieK 🌈🦋
Oh Jules. Thank you so very very much. I truly appreciate it. I did read in the description you have put everything needed to make these beautiful sculptures. But I really wanted and I guess I needed permission from you the Artist yourself. As there has been a heck of a lot of Art Stealing going on, on the internet. I didn’t want to be one of those people. Also I’m not sure if you saw my question. Is it possible to put water into these so they could be used as vases brush water holders ......ECT? I think they would look amazing on my art table also on my dinner table with a huge bunch of flowers 💐. They could either compliment or contrast the stunning colours added to the resin. The worse thing would be to add water and destroy the beautiful artwork. And I wouldn’t want that. Thank you for your reply and for letting me give this beautiful project a good old go. I saw a few other Artists doing something similar to yours but honestly there’s no comparison at all. Thank you once again. I’m super excited to try. Oh a suggestion if you don’t mind. In watching a few others try to emulate your product one lady did something cool and maybe a little cheaper for you. Instead of using the painters drop sheet She cut up a clear shower curtain. Maybe something to try. I’m not taking any chances though I’m doing everything exactly the same as you’ve done. As it looks perfect and turned out stunning. Cheers cherieK 🌈🦋🇦🇺

I noticed you have several different resins on your Amazon account. What resin do you use for what projects?

What sort of effect does one get between using India ink and alcohol ink?
Lily Cessna You get more lacing with alcohol ink. Fun to use both and see them interact

Touched By Glitter They are on my list of recommended supplies on Amazon. The link is in the description below the video. Thanks for watching 🌸
Beautiful Jules what did you use to attach the fairies with glue or resin etc...
not sure what she used but you could use uv resin
I used E6000 glue. But you could use resin that is beginning to harden 🌸
Good idea 🌸
Do they eventually harden completely or do they stay pliable?
Johnette Rojas it depends on the type of resin. I wanted these to be more pliable because there were designed for children. If too hard they are like glass. My regular resin sculptures are glass hard.
Just wondering what type of plastic you use to pour your resin over ?
Very thick heavy duty painters plastic.

What inks r u using
Patty Greene Bombay India inks.

What is the plastic you’re using?

Is that alcohol ink?
