Earning the trust of a husky is one of the most rewarding things man, they really talk to you ❤
Man I really love seeing these stories. I can see how happy he is to be free of his backyard prison. He probably feels so much better free of itchy fleas and being part of a pack/family. I’m happy the owner chose to let him go in the end.
Obviously the owner only had her own well-beingin mind and not the welfare of the dog. But the neighbor was a true angel and helped this dog in this terrible situation. She did not close her eyes like many others would.
My goodness the joy on Joey's face says it all.
If the neighbor is the person feeding the dog, wouldn’t the dog be considered abandoned?
The neighbor was right to get help, glad both dogs are doing so much better now.

I was blessed to have my sweet boi for almost 17 yrs.he was a shihtzu. after his passing I got an English shepherd.i did research cuz quite a few differences and grateful I did.i urge everyone to do research on animals so they can be loved properly ❤

For eveyone, Joey was adopted a while ago and is no longer at Asher House. He has his own family now. There was a an update on some of the dogs on the Asher House channel.

He's so much like my last dog, a Mal/Husky. Got him at 9 months old from his 1st family and he'd never been walked. This is heartwarming 💜 Good job 👍🏼

Thats a really bad situation when a HUSKY of all dogs is soooo scared that the tail is continuously between the legs. Completely broken spirit. Ive never seen that in a husky. They are sooo headstrong and determined. Oh what he must of went thru. Thank you so much. Im really surprised that he was able to bounce back. Some dogs cannot. Im so glad he did. It looks like he was still wanting to love. So i guess he wasn't completely broken but darn near close.

This makes me cry because looking at this husky remind me of my husky in which lost last month he passed away due his back legs and couldn't walk and suffering same colours and same colour eyes but thank you saving these poor little souls

I am from Alaska and that would never fly here. Huskies run the freaking Iditarod, they are born to run for miles and miles in cold weather. Please if you live in a warm weather location, think about the dog before yourself. ❤
