Edibles can also be very powerful however when you go to a cannabis store you can buy it in different strengths or different strains of the plant for your desired results, but they aren't as bad as an unknowledgeable person trying to use it on their own like my friends and I did as teens that was an interesting event, it got scary because it was like being way to high. Bottom line is no one should ingest THC/Cannabis without their knowledge or full consent.
I’m a daily smoker and even I feel this is wrong. Those people aren’t smokers so why feed them all of that food ? That could have went worse than the actual outcome.
Marijuana doesnt raise ur heart beat. They used this to tear down the image of weed. They was on hallucinogens. They are just tryna keep marijuana with a bad name to keep pumping meds
@@tobydanger86 thats cuz the company they got it from uses chemicals to stretch it. Pure weed wouldnt do that unless ur body kicks into overdrive to stay alive. This aint lean

There were kids that got high as well
What a rotten and dangerous thing to do. I can't believe a reputable caterer would agree to it.
She obviously thought it was a great idea too.
they must have done a dam good job cooking it cause every food I've ever tasted there is a slight taste of mj when cooking with it
You answered your own question. A slight taste.
Correct
@@mamapoch1915 she didn’t ask a question
Bread and lasagna. Two foods that pair well with herb flavors. It's sad.
it was MJ infused oil which wouldn't taste very much like the leaf and have only slight affects but it's still kinda not cool..it kinda like feeding a vegan meat against their consent imo
The caterer has now destroyed her business and charged, and the bride has lost the respect and trust of her family and friends. They women are to old to be THAT STUPID to do this to people there is a list a mile long on why you don’t do this, they don’t know what prescription drugs people might be on, people may have been drinking while being high on pot. Children may have eaten the food, people may have to take a drug test for a position/ promotion for work.
Here i am asking for Seconds please🤣
That's the problem with some weed heads, they assume that everyone is okay with it because it's 'just a natural plant'. You are entitled to your own opinion and habits but please respect other people and don't force your habit onto unsuspecting people by tricking them into ingesting your bad habit. It's not only legally but also morally wrong. Respect yourself & others. I'd be so furious and even sue. My comment will probably go over some addicts as to the seriousness when it's 'only a little weed'. Lol
I completely agree these people are messed up for thinking it's okay to do that to there guest's.
I also absolutely agree with you.
🤦🏻♀️. I never heard of anyone Dying of an overdose form marijuana
So? You wouldn't die from a broken arm but you wouldn't break your wedding guests arms, now would you? Or maybe you would...bc you're high with that comment?
LOCK THIS NEWLYWED COUPLE UP asap, this is OUTRAGEOUS 🤬🤬🤬🤬This could ruin ppls careers who are in trucking, correctional & police officer, bus drivers, airlines, and any positions that require random drug testing
That wedding sounds lit AF 🤣🤣🤣
What was the damn purpose of putting marijuana in the food. Did they think that the guest wouldn't find out and that the guest would think that they were just having lots of fun and what not and wanting more food? Why, why would you do that to those that love you and care about you. Just be thankful there weren't any freaking kids.I'd like to know if the husband knew anything about it. I hope that the lady loses your catering business. I hope they get a good amount of time in jail and I hope that the guest of the wedding go after them, Sue them both
I would so want my wedding gift back. And I'd be suing very shortly afterwards...not a funny joke, and watching the bodycam footage of the bride smirking when the cop asked about cannabis in the food makes it that much more enraging. Immaturity at its best.
This type crap seems to happen in Florida constantly what the Hell is wrong with your guy's state.
I once had a horrible reaction to some cbd gummies that had thc in them. Went from just feeling really high to feeling like I was dying. Edibles are no joke and the fact that they didnt even know they were consuming it is even worse.
I do not believe in suing but in this case they should all sue for medical expenses.
That doesn't make any sense. Lol
Agree, an ambulance is 3k and the lab test are additional.
Water and a nap is easy expenses
What an expensive way to go to prison
I don’t understand why a Bride would do this like if she really didn’t want to marry him.
this happened to me! i was so dehydrated and I felt like I was going to pass out anytime I walked, I slept for 2 days straight
Her new family will sure love her now
who serves lasagna at their wedding ?
That's that Southern lasagna 😏
Who gets something like this out of a story like this?
@@mamapoch1915 no I’m aware of the take away doof
This groom needs to get a annulment quick
What a great idea by the bride and her friend. Good luck to the husband down the road with her.
Well that psycho just lost a lot of friends and family. I smoke but do not condone drugging an unknowing party. Gross. Absolutely vile
My mama always told me not to go to Florida. What's with Florida?
I feel bad for the caterer, she had a job to do and did it well lol
Hey listen I love edibles being from Colorado(where there’s a dispensary literally everywhere)and now living in California. One of my friend/roommate doesn’t do any kind of drugs and never has. I’ve asked her to try it and she said no and I’ve never asked again. I would never do this to her and think it was funny and I’m younger than her. Respect peoples right to decide to partake or not.
💛 you have my respect
Names: Bride = Danya Svoboda
Caterer = Joycelyn Bryan
Wedding took place in Longwood, Central Florida on February 19
What is wrong with people??? This is beyond stupid!! And the groom might want to rethink his decision 🤔
I want an invite!!
They must've just watched that episode on snowfall and ran with the idea 😂
I've been searching for this comment
Drugging people without their consent is a sign of sociopathic behavior. Groom better watch out.
BBC news of this story. One guest had racing heart. Another guest had violent hallucinations thought her son in law was dead and ended up in the hospital unruly and had to be calmed down.
This is always a worry of mine when hanging out with anyone or drinking or even eating nowadays with certain people. I am a CDL driver and I get random drug tests sometimes at work.. Imagine you get fired for something you didn't even intend to consume.. So negligent
That is really messed up!
I disapprove with what they did as individuals need to consent to consuming cannabis (and other drugs) no different than sexual consent. Saying all this, please invite me next time! I consent!
Bride: "cousin Joey did you spike the bread and Lasagne? I said just the coolaide!"
Luckily it should be easy to get an annulment, this guy dodged a major bullet here.
How could you dose anybody especially people who are celebrating with you and trusting you? You don’t do that to people, you just don’t. The loss of their friendship would be the least of what I would give them if I were this person
I'm a daily smoker of weed. I take edibles sometimes, but even for me a small amount can be nuts. If you're not use to that much it can cause panic attacks. I love it that's the fun part to me but others would freak out.
I've got almost 6 months of soberity
I'd be entirely destraut
I don't smoke weed, nor do I knock anyone that does, but what a terrible idea smh. And I've seen quite a few people defending the bride saying "no big deal", and "weed is harmless", but looks like these people actually got sick, and she went to jail, so it definitely seems like a big deal. Just can't play with people's health like that.
What about the kids and the elderly? This could be very bad for them!!!
I need friends like these people
Just a waste of 🌳
I highly doubt they spent that much money to "drug" guests. Especially when only a very few out of many couldn't handle it. I'm guessing alcohol played a large part too
Florida. Shocking.
Is there a link for the caterer? I might want to hire them for my wedding.
Yeah soon as she gets out of jail.
@@stephaniemarie2742 man Stephanie ur just a rookie, just go back to playing barbies or something
I don't understand how the caterer is at fault if that's what the bride asked for. It's not like she secretly did it. It was at the request of the bride
It’s illegal to poison or drug unsuspecting people. Duh
@@lynnstervinou2530 that still falls on the bride. Now if the caterer did it without the bride knowing then I understand blaming the caterer. Its on the bride to tell the people that the food has weed in it. Because the bride placed the order. How does the caterer know that they don't know? She's just fulfilling an order
What the caterer did was illegal. She cooked and served it. She knew. You can’t just be like oh I was just doing what the bride ordered… the caterer is an adult she should know right from wrong. And should take responsibility too. You can’t just drug people…
Omg I didn’t think about this, but period boo.
Well the bride could’ve also asked her to shoot someone at the wedding. Does that not make it wrong for the caterer if she does shoot someone because the bride asked her to?
I mean, they needed to disclose this to their guests or have separate foods that are marked as such. Unless they just hate their family? Idk I react horribly to weed, I have generalized anxiety disorder and unfortunately I react horribly to marijuana. It just makes my anxiety wayyyy worse and I panic and freak out. I would absolutely be pissed if this happened to me. I feel like I’m dying when I’ve had weed, and no, I’m not being dramatic, because believe me, I can tolerate other things just fine.
That’s messed up !
How hard would it have been to inform people that there would be laced food, & provide non-laced food to the guests who didn't want to partake?
Girl u going to jail, she worst than the creep at the bar
What a horrible person(s). I hope the husband files for divorce ASAP. She could drug him.
It's wrong to mess with peoples food! People have a right to know what theyre consuming.
Not knowing what you’ve been drugged with, that’s terrible.
Damn they watched snow fall🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
I'm not anti-cannabis, but I choose not to partake. That said, if someone fed it to me without my knowledge there would be hell to pay. NOT COOL!!!

i mean, i can imagine the fear those ppl might feel. especially if they've never been high before. D:
@@justarandomotaku210 I totally get it. If you've never been high and start feeling a sensation you've never felt before out of no where, of course that's scary.
It's just humourous imaging people calling an emergency line to say "I feel like I'm floating & I'm really hungry, help!"
Calling police because your food was laced and you consumed a drug without your knowledge or consent seems rather reasonable to me. Not everyone partakes and even if someone does it should be with their knowledge. If it was at family or friends event, I wouldn't call the police but it most likely create a huge trust issue with that person since what else would they think would be okay to do to me.
@@FLdancer00 I never smoked but I had two shotguns blown in mouth. I felt sick and dizzy. I felt slow and stupid for days after too. I absolutely hated the feeling. Why should anyone be forced to endure that if they didn't consent? I would sue the fuck out of anyone that that forced that on me.

No no death, but horrible panic attacks and possibly seizures in very young children

In another video I saw a kid that looked around 10 years old, and a baby that appeared to be maybe a year old.

What about the kids who ate at that wedding there probably like what’s going on not only that she laced the food but the kids probably ate it to
But no one reported children being high so yer comment is void

I have nothing against pot and honestly believe it should be legalized in all 50 states. However, I personally will never use it because not only do I have no interest in it but I also have major health issues and I don’t know how my body would react to it.
