Right instinct, yeah, you should pay more attention to her. When possible, ask genuine questions, kindly. Do some studying about the topic and if needed talk to her about why you're suddenly interested on this so she knows why you're asking (cos it can be weird answering stuff like this out of the blue, at least for some women). Keep in mind that some women aren't in tune with their cycles and hormones, so before asking a lot of stuff, pay attention to that, she might not know, she might not care, she might not fully understand, specially if it becomes too much of a nuisance to her. Some women just go the way of trying to "fix nature", or don't treat illnesses properly - like attempting to treat pcos with a gynecologist prescribed birth control instead of finding a proper endocrinologist. So take it easy, since in most current day western/European-influenced cultures, women aren't into truly healing, or treating themselves with natural cures, meditating and understanding their own body. It's really interesting to me how wildly different men and women are biologically. It might be hard to understand each other at times but in my opinion that creates stronger relationships in the long run. It was one of the best feelings when I felt like I could understand my girlfriend better after she started being more open with me. Now we have a mutual understanding that goes way beyond gender differences. As people we should all try to understand and respect each other as opposed to making it a competition of what gender is better. Both guys and girls should spend a good amount of time trying to understand the other gender if they want a healthy relationship, after all we are so different. Any guys out there struggling to understand women I promise it gets easier, you just need to find the one patient enough to teach you and vice versa. Best of luck to anyone out there still looking for the right someone. I hope you find that person soon

@@JessieInTheSky09 I thought she meant pain medication to help the pain, that’s why I mentioned birth control. Being a teen girl/young woman is rough as your reproductive system is still adjusting and trying to balance itself out. Having a baby literally fixed all of my issues oddly enough lmao. 🤷🏻♀️😆 I’ve had bad experiences with bc. Birth control messed my hormones up so bad when I stopped them at 18 until I got pregnant at 21. Birth control caused my hormones to go all out of whack, elevated prolactin & I was getting constant ovarian cysts that would double me over in pain when bursting. If you’re struggling 3/4 weeks a month, you’re probably experiencing PMDD, a severe form of PMS. Pms is only supposed to be a few days and a period is only supposed to last a week
@@spacesurfer901 an estimated 5-20% of people with periods suffer from PMDD, a hormonal disorder that causes severe anxiety and depression for roughly 3 weeks a month. It’s so disruptive that the ADA and DSM5 both recognize it as a disability. It is incredibly dangerous to be undiagnosed as any changes to hormones (like new birth control, plan b, pregnancy, etc) can have catastrophic psychological effects, often involving suicidal ideation and attempts. On top of that, there’s also PCOS and endometriosis which, like PMDD, can cause excruciating physical and mental symptoms. Just because YOU don’t experience it, doesn’t mean other people aren’t experiencing it.
I was discussing about my mood swings and mental health with my gyno and she ran some hormonal tests and stuff and after the results she said “you don’t need therapy, you need to get those hormones level on normal” 💀💀💀💀
Oh. After reading this, I need to talk to my gyno immediately. I'm totally fine 2-3 weeks out of every month, then completely feral and deranged for 1-2 weeks.
I was seeing this girl VERY loosely. She would come over only once week a month. She wouldn't talk to me all month long. But towards the end of every month she would begin to send me sweet text messages and show me new outfits she bought. Now I know wtf was going on
This is down right sad. The girl only wants you when she is feeling the best, and as soon as she is feeling a little worse she will throw you away only to come crawling back. I feel moody and sad often but I would never take it as an excuse to ignore and withdraw affection from the person I am interested in.
It’s also super annoying if you’re an asexual with no horny and only the slight confidence boost but also the I MUST LOOK GOOD OR I’LL BE BULLIED insecurity boost. The only phase I get to really LIVE peacefully is the Follicular phase.
After years of ignoring it I’ve started a journal to keep track of patterns, so now if I’m feeling a certain way I acknowledge it but I also know it’s okay & normal. After going through labor twice now, my cramps are so similar to being 6cm dilated. after going through unmedicated labor & childbirth (not on purpose) I try to push forward during the peak of menstruation & know movement and breathing ease pain & discomfort.
Don't worry many men would still hijack this to make it about themselves and cry the misfortune they have to deal with when their woman goes hormonal :') speaking out of personal experience ahah

Best marriage advice I’ve received. Thank you.
Tl,Dr: most of your work will be done with quiet observation and self study until she decides to open up.

Birth control can help if it’s that bad!
@@Taylor_mamaof2 that’s what she’s talking about. Birth control has many SIGNIFICANT side effects that can cause serious issues in other areas of their life forcing women to have to choose between which type of pain they would rather have. It’s not so easy; if it was more women would be taking it.
@@JessieInTheSky09 I thought she meant pain medication to help the pain, that’s why I mentioned birth control. I wouldn’t say that’s *forcing* them to take it, it can just help if they think it’s worth it. As you get older though it typically gets easier.
Went 90 days without a period had to take progesterone for 10 days to kick start a period again. I should’ve never started it to begin with back then! After my son was born they were regular, mild/moderate cramping, no issues. I’m back on birth control now after having my second, simply for birth control not for my cycles… and I’m 6 months in STILL having breakthrough bleeds almost once a damn week. I had a sample of one pill for 2 months that actually worked great.. so idk if it’s certain brands/types but my experience with bc has been ROUGH. @@spacesurfer901 an estimated 5-20% of people with periods suffer from PMDD, a hormonal disorder that causes severe anxiety and depression for roughly 3 weeks a month. It’s so disruptive that the ADA and DSM5 both recognize it as a disability.
