that's not how it works, sadly, I'm Jewish and "passing as white" is not only insulting to my middle eastern culture, it's also vary hurmful to the community.
one of the reasons people don't even know they met Jews is because we are forced to hide our identities outdoor or else we are attacked.
for example in Germany they just got out a message to Jews, that forbids going out with Yamaka because so many jews were assaulted for it.
the first time I went abroad to Hungry the Jewish community told me, in the vary first day, that we shouldn't say we are Jews outdoors and take down every Jewish clothing or else we would be beaten and possibly raped. because others were.

I say this woman is stuck in the medieval period.
