That's the best I've seen yet! When I saw the patterns it immediately reminds me of the copper head pattern of our most infamous snake in South Carolina. Beautiful work!
Amazing work! I have 2 questions, 1. How to make it scratch resistant? 2. What primer you use? Thanks again, I'm just starting and have a lot of questions:)
Thank you. There is no such thing as scratch resistant. Some coatings hold up better than others, but all can be scratched. Our demonstrations typically use DuraCoat or Cerakote so their is no primer.
Thank you for the support. Those words were more used as descriptors of the color rather than actual product names. We have a very hard time finding specific names as there are so many different popular coating and paint products available today.
Durability comes form good prep work. Clear coating is not stronger. It is simply pigment-less coating. It's mostly utilized to create layers for sanding out orange peel and buffing to shine without affecting the colored coating. For applications such as this video, it isn't warranted.
Hello and thanks for asking. This can be achieved with our M85 Stencils. The main difference in the two patterns is the tan color is replaced with a green color. ERDL is enlarged a little, and the repeat is different, but neither of these changes would be noticeable when patterned to a rifle. We will add this to our list for video tutorials!!!

Some of these patterns look quite tricky. Until I watch you guys. You made it so simple. Thanks.
Thanks, glad you like them! Most aren't really too difficult once you kind of break them down a bit. Hopefully the videos help!!!

@@FreedomStencils okay, thanks for your reply
Amazing.. as always.. the distressing is always a fantastic touch..
Thanks! Yeah, the distressing really brings it to life!
Outstanding job, what color green are you using for the stencil.
It depends on the product you are using. The color is darker green, almost a forest green. Just something to contrast nicely with the lighter green.
Do you cure the last black highlight coat before you use the steel wool ?
If it is a heat cure product, then yes, we do a short flash cure. If it is an air dry product, then no, we hit it while it is still weak!
Love your work, will you tell me what the actual colors you are using. I can’t seem to find medium green and brown in the Duracoat color chart.

greetings from canada just got a kit cant wait
Love your work!
Thank you so much for the support!
Is there a cost effective airbrush kit you can recommend? Like under $100?
I used one from harbor freight it turned out great!!
How can you make it more durable?Maybe with a clear dull coating??
Durability comes form good prep work. Clear coating is not stronger. It is simply pigment-less coating. It's mostly utilized to create layers for sanding out orange peel and buffing to shine without affecting the colored coating. For applications such as this video, it isn't warranted.
Magnifique
Do you have to heat cerakote?
Cerakote offers both air cure and heat cure products.
any topcoat?
Hey could you make a stencil for the Highland ERDL pattern: Green-dominant (Leaf pattern ) ? It is a US pattern 1948-1988
