Caught your intro episode yesterday and was happy to see your "first" episode today! Take my word for it, you are worthy. What makes one worthy? In my book, its love of the craft. My favorite podcasts are done by those who are able to be completely themselves without affectation or pretense. Your love of nature, family and our shared craft is so obviously genuine! Good for you. Love all the clips of Colorado too. Watching from California.
Wow, thank you! This makes me feel so good!
That's exactly how I wanted my comment to come acrpss; you speak so well Deanna E!
Well said. My sentiments too! ❤
Agree❤!
Watching from Cornwall in the UK 😊
Young lady, you are worthy. Keep sharing the love of all of your crafts with us. I've been crocheting or knitting while listening to you. I'm glad I ran across your podcast. It's like hanging out with a friend and enjoying a little coffee while working on a project.
Thank you so much! You are very sweet. I am continuing on for sure! ♥
Please don't fret over content or trying to be a slick production. More than 1,900 subscribers think you are certainly worthy. You are a charming and relatable addition to the online knitting community. I look forward to learning more about you, your part of the world and your many interests. Well done on your first full episode.
Thank you soooo much. The enouragement has been incredible. Seriously. ♥♥ Episode 2 should be up tonight.
YOU are DEFINATELY WORTHY!!!! Thoroughly enjoying your podcasts!!!!!
Oh Thank you VERY much!
Don’t worry about being worthy…that word doesn’t need to be in your vocabulary.
It’s refreshing to have someone who represents most of us. We’re a creative people just trying to express our creativity through yarn, fiber or a variety of avenues. No judgement.
I’m watching from the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. Our mountains are the Blue Ridge Mountains, however they not nearly as high as the peaks in Colorado!
I also own a geriatric kitty, or she owns me might be a better way of saying that.
Thanks for sharing your story with us.
Thank you.. I would love to come see your part of the word one day. It is on my bucket list!
Really lovely spending time watching your podcast. Congratulations
Wow - Thank you so much. I have so many new knitting friends. ♥
You are doing great. So enjoyable to watch. Do not worry about not being worthy. You are absolutely worthy. We are all at different places in our knitting journeys, and all of us are always learning. There is not a bar that you have to leap before you can podcast! It is just nice to see your journey.
Thank you so much! I really enjoy your podcast as well.
Julie!!!!! You have 14,000 views! All by yourself! You go, girl. ❤❤❤
With a little help from my friends....YOU! Thank you Devin. I sure have had a lot of comments about my Fosette! I happen to know the designer...just saying ♥
Hi! New subscriber from Bronx, New York! Lovely episode! Don't underestimate yourself - you're beyond worthy and you matter. I am very happy UA-cam recommended your channel! Looking forward to seeing future episodes. Until next time, have a blessed day and many blessings to you.
Thank YOU! I am glad you live in "Sweata Weatha" Blessings to you as well.
@@TheKnittyKats You're welcome and thank You! ✨💜✨
Hello from the little State of Rhode Island !! I’m a knitter, cat lover, quilter, camper……..and enjoyed your comfortable and easy-going chatting …..you are doing great and I look forward to more …..😻
Oh thank you! I am sooooo happy to have a Rhode Island commenter Woo Hoo. My next pocast is camping... ♥
Hi from Australia!!! Loved loved loved ❤❤❤ the outdoor content/background to this episode & your introduction & of course the knitting/craft content. So looking forward to following ur podcast journey, and would very much like to see the natural coloured white brown & black fleece spun & knitted up into something special. I’m sure you’ll WOW us all, and maybe persuade ur sister to make an occasional guest appearance featuring her talents. Best wishes to you both.
Thank you Australian knitting friend. ♥
You have quickly become one of my favorite podcasters. I love all your Colorado info so please keep adding that to your episodes. I started watching at your introduction episode, then episode #2, then #3 and finally came back to #1. I loved them all. I live in Indiana and have a son who lives in Granby, CO so we visit there at least once a year. Your white cardigan is beautiful and any mistakes are not at all visible. I admire that you are a busy woman who still finds time for all your fiber arts. Your podcasting makes me feel like I am visiting with a good friend. Please, please, please keep podcasting.
You are so very sweet.. What wonderful words you have written. I so appreciate you watching... ♥♥
Please don’t be discouraged, I think you’re a lovely podcaster. And don’t give up on your sister. Maybe she could be your guest from time to time. I’d love to see what she’s working on too. Your Fosette is absolutely stunning… inspires me to knit one for myself. Looking forward to your next video. (I’m a Tennessee girl).
Thank you so much! Yes Knit a Fosette! They are so fast and fun. I did eliminate bobbles, make a rolled neck and made the sleeves longer.
My family moved to Estes Park when I was 10yrs old. I left when I was 20. I have wonderful memories of roaming the mountains and camping. The wool festival there is what got me interested in spinning and weaving when I was 15. My brother still lives there.
That is awesome! I hope you get ack to visit from time to time. ♥
I really enjoyed this episode and I’m excited to have found a new podcast! I’m from Michigan. I’ve never been to Colorado, so any footage you can include of your beautiful part of the country would be appreciated. I’m almost finished with the Corran Cardigan and I’m not happy with the size I chose. I might rip it out and start over!
Sorry I can’t help with felting 😊.
Glad you enjoyed it! Awwww I had to gasp when I read "rip it out." I struggled with the size too. It is the lace all over. I made mine in cotton and it seemed so small. Then I steam blocked it and it is a little on the big side. So maybe steam it before ripping out. Thank you so much for watching. ♥
I hope you keep going. Love everything you love, gardening, sewing, crocheting and love knitting. You have so much to share hope to catch you next time.
Thank you! Will do! Episode 2 will be out tonight!!!
Watching from the Buffalo, NY area. I find your podcast refreshing and fun. I too, am multi craftual.
Thank you! I was so nervous and all this encouragement has given me new hope I can keep going.
I love the podcast outdoors. I am excited about your podcast.
I am grateful for you... thank you. You all keep me going. How fun this is.... Next up... Camping ♥
I live in northern Virginia and miss the beauty of central Virginia and the Blue Ridge Mountains!! Don’t downplay your knitting abilities-you will be like the majority and not be a professional knitter, but one who loves the craft and continues to improve with each project-or not! Be a crafter and share all your crafts-even if it is a simple beaded bracket, granny blanket or your magnificent stain glass window. Knitters often do lots of crafts and we are always looking for someone of a like mine. Looking forward to your podcast!
Thank you... I need to get to Virginia FOR SURE
You are worthy. Everyone is at a different place in their fiber process. Be you and keep going.
Thank you for your encouragement. I appreciate it. I am going to continue for SURE! I am having fun.
I love youre podcast ❤
And all the work you do
Wow not normal 😂
I watch from the netherlands in my garden.🎉🎉
I am so far from Normal you have no idea!! This cracked me up! I Love it. Thank you... you live in a lovely part of the world.
on my God! The green sweater! Fabulous
Thank you. It is very easy. I did make some minor changes I will tell you about in the next podcast. Thank you for watching. ps. It is the Fosette Crop by Devin Ventre
❤ to you from Oregon!
You did great, I loved watching and can’t wait for more!😊 I love the idea of getting glimpses of where you live, your garden looks beautiful and I would love to virtually tour yarn shops. Colorado is high on my list of places to go and seeing bits and pieces will make me want to even more!
Thank you so much!! Yay! I am glad I am on the right track.
Gosh you are truly worthy of podcasting on your own so do not put yourself down! It is a shame that your sister did not want to support you but I think you will do well on your own! So please continue to podcast as I just adore you!
A lady who owns a wool shop told me that unless a ball of yarn is designed for the yarn to be pulled from the middle, it should be unwound from the outside. It's something to do with damaging the yarn as it pulls through. I'm watching from Yorkshire in England and I think you're a natural at this podcasting, well done!
Hello English knitter. Thank ou for the tips. I agree with this now for sure. Tired of the messy bombs I pull out. My husband is from near Hebden Bridge. Your area is abolutely STUNNING. I love your culture and countryside.
Hello from Denmark 😊 i enjoyed your videopodcast so much and are looking forward for the next 😊 have a nice day
Thank you for sharing your time with us. Lovely video and I’m really pleased it’s taken off so well. Looking forward to seeing more.
This podcast is a gem! Thank you so much for sharing your passion with the world. I love your energy and your authenticity. I am from Montreal and I watch your podcast when I want to add joy to my day. I love the fact you enjoy nature and share the beautiful state of Colorado with us. I am from Montreal. long life to your podcast
Wow, thank you! What nice things to say ♥ I appreciate it.
Thanks for podcasting! Loved hearing about your life in Colorado and your fiber and other interests! I live in Northern California- San Francisco Bay Area. Looking forward to your next podcast. I use to always pull from the middle of pre-skeined yarn, but I always end up with a blob of yarn and knots. I also heard about twist issues when pulling from the middle, so now I will sometimes choose outside- the yarn just doesn’t flow as well from the outside.
Thank you! Yes... I think I am a strictly outside yarn girl now. My blanket yarn is a MESS! ♥
I love everything about your podcasts! 🎉
Thank you VERY VERY much. The encouraging words mean so much to me. ♥
There is no criteria for making any video as long as it follows the UTube rules, just film what you want and people will watch or not.🥰👍🏼. I am excited to see the progress of your projects and see your purchases become knit things . Take care, be safe🙋🏼♀️
Thank you!
watched again and you are so worthy of a podcast, Love all your projects.
You are the Sweetest! Thank you...♥
Hello from South Carolina. You did a great job, and you are most definitely a worthy knitter. I loved all your knits but especially the sweater you changed into at the end. ❤ those colors. Please keep sharing cats, garden, and outdoor adventures.
Thank you so much! I would love to get to South Carolina one day... I will keep at this. I appreciate the support more than you know.
Utah here, the other side of the Rockies. I’m a night knitter, and watch podcasts, basketball, and old tv series while I knit. I’m enjoying the outdoors, even the prop plane and the garbage truck…now all you need is neighbors gardening, and you’d be in great company with the Grocery Girls. We had a family reunion in Estes Park, drove home over trail ridge road… I got cranky. But my memories are all happy from that trip…I remember a stuffed animal store called Estes Ark, you can’t miss it. 🤭
Hey knitter neighbor. Thanks for the funny feedback. Trail Ridge is an experience for SURE.
Hello from Canada. I’m sad that your sister wasn’t able to join you, but I’m so glad you decided to do it on your own!! I love watching podcasts of people I feel like I could be friends with and that’s exactly how I feel about you. We have one daughter that is home after her first year at university, and we feel the same way. It takes some adjusting to having them back again. And then as soon as you are they’ll be off again. ❤
Thank you so much Canadian Knitting friend!! We are moving in the same direction for sure. I am really trying to relax and enjoy them both home again.
Love the outside podcast! Your sweater is beautiful and looks very comfortable. Thanks for your podcast!
Glad you like it! Thank you for watching.. ♥
You're a natural in front of the camera! Enjoyed both of your episodes. Watching from Upstate NY.
Thank you... We were in your neck of the woods last Oct. BREATHTAKING. I could not get over the apples. I am definitely coming back.
Hi, I'm from the Czech Republic, Europe. The outdoor podcast is great.
Hello. What a beautiful part of the world you live in!! Thank you for watching.
I feel just like you do about who is “knit worthy” or not. It takes a knitter to really appreciate a knitted gift. I also knit sweaters and socks. I recently moved from NW Indiana to North Carolina so now I’m experimenting with cotton and linen yarns for hot weather tops. Keep up the podcast! You’re doing great!
I love North Carolina. I was at a knitting retreat in Lake Junaluska in Jan. LOVE your state.
Greetings from North Carolina. I’m enjoying your podcast even though I crochet. You’re a very pleasant person . I’ll continue to watch.
Stay Tuned for the Crochet version next time... I love North Carolina. We were in Lake Junaluska in January. Lovely.
Hi, I'm watching from Saskatchewan, Canada. I really enjoy outside podcasts and your flowers are beautiful!
You are definitely worthy, just be yourself and it'll be great! I'm a cat mom too and am looking forward to your next video!
Thank you for commenting. I LOVE Canada. A big country and I have only been to a few cities. I love the Canadian people. I wish people could put photos of their cats up.
I looove Liberty of London fabric and your skirt will be fabulous with a Ranunculus 🤎🩷❤️😊
Hooray. I have never indulged myself with such fabric - so it is joyous.
It’s was great and I enjoyed everything about it. Your surroundings are beautiful! I’m watching from Texas where we are just so hot, hot, hot! Got to get my walks in as soon as the sun comes up to beat the heat. I’m originally from Scotland and lived here 30 years and love to knit, knit, knit and watch a new podcast. Well Done!
Thank you soooo much. I love Scotland. One of my favorite places on earth. I went to Stirling University for a year. Yay!
Love, love the outdoor scenes . Your garden, cats and way of speaking are wonderful. Here in New Zealand it's winter and your podcast made me excited for spring/summer and spinning by the river. We would love to meet your sister too.❤
Thank you very much. I appreciate you comment. ♥
Hello from Brittany, France ! I’m watching you with my long hair old cat by my side ! Great podcast 😊
Hello!! Wow! France. I can't begin to tell you how humbled I am - and in shock. Thank you fellow Cat/yarn lover.
I also am a crafter….knitting, crochet, embroidery, crossstitch, sewing, etc. and I also garden. I grow flowers, herbs and a veg garden. So parallel hobbies on opposite sides of the US. I live on the coast of NC. I realized this year that my wooly knits are not getting much love. Our warm season far exceeds our cold season. I am focusing my knitting on plant fibers and summer tees. I am enjoying your podcast and am subscribing. I watch many podcasts (knitting and gardening). I look forward to your future videos. Bring your sister as an occasional guest.
We are TWINS. It is amazing there is so much to do. I think youtube has empowered us to learn whatever our hearts desire. It is great. ♥
I love you podcast very much. It is wonderful. The setting is devine. I had my third child when I was 43. 😊 I can unterstand you so much, lol. I have 3 boys, ages 35, 31 and 14. I am a window since 2014, I am 57 years old, and I am a certified seemstress, Elementary - and Highschool teacher, work from my home, freelancing ( I create unique textile art, give sewing lessons and I write novel, poetry as well as children's stories. By the way : My youngest and I are absolute cat lovers. 😊 💖.
Huggs from Fairy Tale Cottage, Schurwald Forest, Germany. 🌲 🌲 🌲 ❤
You are soooo busy. Thank you for commenting. Germany is on my bucket list. I love the Fairy Tale Cottage. ♥
My sister recommended I watch. Love it! My sisters and I are called The Knitsters. We totally understand not feeling worthy of podcasting. But you’re doing great! If you need stand in sisters, we’re here!
Perfect.. do you have a podcast called the knitsters? Let me know…. ❤️
Hello from England. Your podcast was lovely. Very relaxed and enjoyable. Looking forward to the next one.😊💕💕
Hello English friend. Thank you so much for your comment.

I think you are doing a great job, you are natural in front of the camera and you have lots of interesting things to say and show! Thank you for moving forward with the podcast on your own. I love to knit sweaters, hats, mittens and socks and I always have multiple projects on the go. I am looking forward to getting to know you more. Take care!
Welcome aboard! Japan? wow. That is someplace I would love to see. Thank you for watching. ♥
I'm watching from Myrtle Beach with my kitty on my lap, working on a Tolsta Tee for a friend. :) You did great!!!!!! I'm sad that Deb didn't join this one, but thrilled that you decided to continue on. Maybe she will agree to be a guest co-host sometime! I hope so. All your projects are beautiful, as is your garden. Can't wait to see the next episode!
Thank you Dora!! Knitting and Kitties were made to go together. I appreciate your encouraging words. I will soldier on!! I am that determined. It is the editing that takes me and enire day.. I am getting better though.
Hi my friend ❤
@@kathleenhammond9863 HEY!!!! 😍Glad you found this podcast - Julie and Deb are the sweetest. I will see you in July!!
Dora - are you coming to CO in July? It is July. When are you coming?
@TheKnittyKats unfortunately not. I will be in NC and my friend who also commented lives there, so I will see her.
Would love to see you and Deb though! Maybe someday....
I really enjoyed you and your cats! I have 6 rescue cats and love all things cats and horses. Living now in Brevard North Carolina but all my 3 children were born in Denver. (I’m an older mom too- had my children when I was 38/40&43 years old). Now all are in college-Empty Nesting this Fall. We have a family home in Crested Butte Co and I showed my Bernese Mountain Dog at a National Specialty Show in Estes Park. So I’d love to see your outdoor and any wilderness shots along with your knitting. Please keep podcasting your knitting inspires me. Thank you so much for being brave and authentic.
Thank you sooooo much. What nice things you had to say. Lucky you for having a home in Crested Butte. That is a beautiful part of the world for SURE! ♥
From Chicagoland. You’re doing such a good job podcasting all by yourself. Bravo!! Perhaps your sister will decide to join you in the future or you could ask to show some of her projects when you run out of your own to show us. Keep it going! You are fearless. ❤
I hope so too! Not sure if I am fearless or crazy. PS I watch you three fun ladies ♥ Thank you for the support.
Love watching your outdoor video please continue
Whew... Thank you...
I found your intro and episode today. I am watching from the upper left corner of your US map. We have truly beautiful outdoor activities here with Mt Rainier visible from here. We also get lots of rain which is great for the flowers and vegetables in my garden.
You are definitely worthy and you may find that your sister may decide to join you once you get more comfortable with the process and she sees the fun of connecting with people from all around the world.
Hello Mountain Friend. What view you must have. Thank you for the encouragement. I hope so too.. It would be fun with her. You would learn more about knitting too. LOL!
You are indeed worthy. I enjoyed your podcast!
Yay, thank you!
I am watching from Michigan! The podcast was lovely and I will definitely watch again. I love the backyard setting and don’t mind the “normal” neighborhood noises. I hope your sister will join you when she sees how much we all like to watch!! 😊
Thank you... One of my best friends lives in Reese. I need to make my way there. I LOVE cherries and she tells me about the Michigan cherry season. I am eating cherries right now!
I too dabble in many crafts. I love your things. Nice podcast. 🌹
Thank you! 😊
Hello from NC! Happy to see your knitting, crocheting, spinning and sewing podcast (i.e. not just knitting, not that there’s anything wrong with that). Don’t worry about your skill set; everyone watching is at all different levels of their skills too! Hi also from our 6 rescue cats here; would love to see your kitties in future episodes :)
You are a good human to love those kitties. They work with the Yarn lol!
Loved your first podcast. Loved your craziness (if you truly are crazy. I just think you’re full of life, dreams, adventure). Keep on going. I didn’t even mind the trucks, airplane, and sirens.
Thank you so much!!... yes... I am definitely crazy. My nephews called me Auntie J and my Great nephews call me Crazy Auntie JJ. I have to own it. I love being myself. Life is short. ♥
Keep podcasting! YOU are worthy. Many of your viewers are average knitters. Your gardens are beautiful. Noise is fine. I am watching from Montana. To be honest I am getting bored with the formulaic podcasts. Just share your love of knitting. I am so tired of yarn barf that I have begun knitting from the outside. Sometimes I just roll it into a ball and knit it then.
Oh thank you! You are my First Montana knitter friend. I was wondering where you were. lol. Thank you for you kind words of encourgement. I am far from normal so we should be good! ♥
The UA-cam algorithm finally brought you up today. Greetings from the Chautauqua neighborhood. Looking forward to watching over the next few days.
Awesome! Thank you! Welcome to the Pod!
I'm from Iowa and just found your podcast today. I'm watching past episodes trying to catch up. You're doing just fine, don't doubt yourself! I love the garden, cats knitting, crocheting, and learning new things.
Awesome! Thank you! Welcome..♥
Colorado is a wonderful place to live and love! Have been in the state for a long time. And I never say that I am not buying anything. You got some beautiful things!!! And I am enjoying the podcast! You are very worthy. I do all the stitching stuff also. Always have umpteen things in progress!
So true! Thank you for watching.
Hello from South of France,
We lived for 4 years on the north west coast of US (Boston) and Bever travelled to Colorado.
Maybe one day I will have this amazing opportunity to visit your state and also Alaska.
It's a pleasure to watch your podcast. ❤
A très bientôt,
Hello! Wow France. I am blown away by this. I am glad you were able to get to the US. It is very very big.
I am from the UK and have to say loving your podcasts, hope there will be many more to come. Loving following your knitting journey. xx
Thank you very very much. I will have Episode 3 up soon. I am headed to the mountains and will film from there. ♥
Hello from Hawaii. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit with you today so much that I want to dip my toes into spinning too. You're very worthy and inspirational. I usually wind my balls of yarn with a swifter, and pull from the outside. Much continued success to you.😊
YES to spinning. I can see you now in beautiful Hawaii spinning in paradise. It is very enjoyable, but it does have a learning curve. Stay with it.. so much fun.. Thank you for watching. ♥
Hello from Australia, cats and knitting wonderful
You can't have one without the other. Love them both ♥
It was nice to see that snow along the sides of the road. My family spent some time in Alaska and I remember my Dad trying to pose 3 kids along banks like that! They really do exist, not just in my memory. I enjoyed your show. And the setting. Your spinning is delightful. No wonder your creative side is so broad, knitting, crocheting, spinning, sewing, jewelry making, children, hubby and cats! Wow……I look forward to your progress on all these items you showed. I now live in East Coast side of Florida mid-state so it is very nice to see all your trees.
Thank you! I do wear myself out sometimes... I don't sit for a minute. Just how I roll. Episode 3 will be up in a few days. ♥
Hello, I'm watching from OHIO and glad to see a new Podcast about my favorite things to do. Can't wait too see many more..😊
More to come! I appreciate having a new knitting friend from Ohio. ♥ Thank you

Awesome! Thank you! I so appreciate the encouraging comment. I am glad you enjoyed Colorado. ♥
Hello i’m from Belgium and love your podcast. It makes me laugh ‘not buying yarn ‘ 😂 I don’t say that anymore because that is an illusion 😉
Love to see the outdoor pictures.
So true! Big illusion ♥
Hi from Australia! You are worthy! Great podcast!❤
Wow, thank you! I so appreciate your encouragement. ♥
Estes park is so beautiful. I’ve only been once but love it. Please continue to make videos. I love seeing the outdoors. I really miss the mountains. I also love that you’re multicraftional.
Thank you.. will do. I do not need much encouragement to go to the mountains. 😉 ❤️
Here I am enjoying your podcast from FL Gulf Coast ……. Knitting a Stephen West shawl and having nice visit with you!
Wonderful! I would imagine shawls are very handy in Florida! Especially on the coast. Thank you for commenting
Really enjoyed watching you from Sydney, Australia. You have a lovely manner and enthusiasm. I love Colorado. I worked for a season in Steamboat Springs as a lift operator back in Winter 1997! I also worked in a jewellery store and Aboriginal Arts store in Vail in the summer of that year. It really is beautiful all year round. Thanks for taking the time to record and show off your lovely projects. Looking forward to your next episode. :)
Oh wow! You have spent time here. Steamboat is just beautiful. Lucky you. Thank you for your comments.. Episode 2 is out very soon. ♥
Your podcast is absolutely delightful! It is great to see all your projects - not just the knitting ones. I also enjoyed learning about where you live. (I live on Vancouver Island Canada). Great choice of fabric- and Liberty cotton will last forever!

That is awesome! Thank you.
Hi from PA! I loved your podcast. So fun to see a fellow spinner share so acquisitions. Keep going. You are completely worthy!!!
Awesome! Thank you! Cheers to you - I appreciate the comment and encouragement. ♥
Good morning from South Jersey. I know I am not a worthy knitter, as I don’t use those very expensive yarns. But I do it for the joy
Hello! Thank you for commenting - you and I both need to get over our feelings of unworthiness...together. You do not need to knit with expensive yarn. Just knit! It makes us feel good. ♥
