    Good morning from Florida! I love your Felix. My Felix is probably my favorite cardigan right now. I made mine cropped in a dark red and wear it with dresses. Everywhere you go in Florida has air conditioning blasting and cardigans like this are just the ticket,

    Your hand spun skein looks amazing. Long time knitter, never spun, but looking at those fibres and what they become makes me want to learn.

    I really enjoy watching you on UA-cam, I live in Pennsylvania USA. You have a wonderful voice very enjoyable to listen to and you do an amazing job describing your projects. I'm so glad you decided to do these videos. I especially liked the "frosty Ice" socks and the golden sweater you are working on it is a beautiful color and should look nice on you. Hello from across the ditch! Sydney!😏I'm enjoying your podcast so much and will try that Italian bind off as it looks so neat. Love your colourful yarn display of the shop background as you're talking. I like how you are picking a different vantage point each time. It makes such a difference to have a nice background. I'm going back to rewatch episode 1 and write down some of the patterns this time.

    Loved this episode! Makes me want to jump on a plane and come visit. I mostly crochet and have never knitted socks. Maybe you will teach us newbies how to knit your vanilla sock pattern when it is done? I will have to wait till I retire to learn to spin but it can’t come soon enough. Thank you! Fantastic content.😊

    Love your spun yarn! Looks so different from the batts! I like the combination of colors. Thanks so much for your update. I have been knitting socks all summer. Cotton/wool for summer, and I am back to a fair-isle wool sock now that it is getting cooler here in US. Your socktober events sound like a lot of fun!

    Wow I have also made the Felix in that yarn base (different dyer) and am missing a button on the bottom! However I found over time it has stretched out. I am thinking about adding a line of crochet around the neckline. The buttons have also pulled at the button band where they are attached, making little peaks. Do you have any advice for fixing this? Next time I'll make the button band at a denser gauge.
    If anyone is liking the Felix but want it in a V-neck you can find this by Along-Avec-Anna. It's called the Rosa Cardigan and is DK. I've made this one too 😂

    • @blackcatknitco
      @blackcatknitco  13 годин тому

      Wow what a coincidence! I think the streching out is all probably a resulk of the looser gauge as you're suggesting, so not too much to do to prevent that. However, adding a crochet edge is a great idea or even sewing in some elastic could help- that's probably what I'll do if mine streches out...
