It's astoundingly disappointing and frightening that what passes for leadership in Seattle and Washington State, and places like them, is so inadequate that it is criminal. A "reallocation of funds" would leave a police department less able to put a stop to an invasion like this.
About time they tore this down. The protests went on ridiculously long for an incident that happened in the mid west. This is a political situation and if you want to change it, make sure you vote. You know what is at stake. This all goes back to the confederacy and the GOP that supports it. You want black lifes to matter, vote the GOP out.

We need a protest for the mayor's arrest. People got killed by her Chop.
Creating legislation like the police accountability law makes more sense than doing demonstrations that get hijacked by extremist or anarchist groups from out of town. This is why I prefer to write letters and to sign petitions to legislators and to those who can arrest and prosecute brutal police.
All of the citizens that live in those States and in those counties that are defunding the police should get together and stop any security for council members or mayor.
