Crocheting The Perfect Baby Shower Surprise In A Snap!

It's been awhile since I've been to a baby shower so I was excited to use my crochet skills to make something cute for the baby girl. The mom to be is my boyfriend's brother's girlfriend's daughter. I also purchased something for her on her Amazon gift registry so I just wanted to do a quick crochet project.
Ravelry is a great site for Crocheters and Knitters. I found lots of cute pairs of crocheted baby booties patterns. I really liked a couple from this artist named Olivia Kent. I decided to go with the ones with the pompom accent.

Thank you! To attach the pompom to the bootie: I used the strand of yarn that I tied the center of the pompom with. I left both sides of the yarn kinda long (about 8 inches). I positioned the pompom and used my crochet hook to pull those yarn strands through to the inside of the bootie. I made sure there was 1 crochet stitch in the middle of those 2 strands so there was something to hold it when I tied it and then tied about 4 knots including a surgeons knot.
