  • Acrylic flip cup pour.
For this flip cup pour, I used 60% glue and 40% water as my pouring medium. I then used 1 part of this pouring medium to 1 part Mont Marte Acrylic paint.

Okay THAT was awesome Julie! I'm out to get clear glue now....how fun! Just beautiful! I love your work! You inspire me to try new things and lately now that JIGGLE POUR is my favorite using three colors and either white or black. I follow the same way you layered yours and I'm getting better at those little fingerlings! And the split cup pours are where I'm struggling right now. I think my paints are too thick and they start to "plop" out around the middle of the pour. That in turn makes me pour too fast to try and get past the blobs...anyways. I'm starting a yt channel myself to vlog my creative process...fluid arts are probably the very healthiest and most promising of any addiction I've ever given into these last 50 years or so! I'm serious, going to Home Depot and Michael's is like going to get crack!! (Which is NOT on the list of addiction) Lol! I cant wait til payday so I can SCORE!!! This months big expense but worth it is AUSTRALIAN FLOETROL! 4Litres for the low low price of $140 USD includes shipping!! That's 53 cents a tablespoon so I'll be treating it like the gold it is!! Because of you though, your videos are why I actually tried the pva glue eventually. Now clear glue...cant wait! Bye for now sweet Julie 🥰

Love your multi coloured cells all this month so far. Are you in the very centre of the continent? Well thank goodness anyways forgive me if this forces you to think about it...however HERE, Its hard NOT to think about the endless reports of hardship we hear daily Im not exaggerating( hourly actually )about the wildfires. I'm aware Australia's a HUGE continent but seeing you paint without mentions means you ARE painting to forget the news. That's one reason I painted alot last year, politcs here are so bad.....I took time off for the holidays and am trying the glue techniques you show with beautiful colours! I bet you could raise alot of money with just a few paintings. (Im not suggesting you haven't done stuff like that already but)... youre MY favourite Australian artist on here. Your work is consistently well composed & results are honest & I hope the new year has a end to the heat wave for those in the fire zones. I live in a huge country & its like another world away but youre all united as a nation & I wanted you know I've been thinking about it. Thank you for making me like cells...i use to hate them but yours arent holes. They are little pools of colour with lots of depth & inside linings etc.. so I got the glue and im gonna do a swipe today...I'm terrible at them mine are always so slanted they look like a deliberate wonky swipe. Others ask me for them...they look so BAD compared to your petal style ones
Thx for continuing to show them. HNY!! We got 40 cm of snow. Today...on the opposite pole....Wish we could send it to ya!❤

Can't we just do pop up ads partway through the video so the entire thing doesn't get disrupted? I've actually been starting to remember which channels do this interruption thing and I don't watch as many videos from them. I watch plenty of videos on Sarah Mack's channel and I tend to watch through the ads - which come at the beginning and not midway through. I'm sure she's getting paid well from them. And she doesn't have interruptions in the midst like this. It's so distracting. Just my personal experience. I'm pretty sure she's making more off my viewership than channels that do ads in this manner. It might seem like I'd be trapped into more ad watching by doing it this way, but I only get really frustrated and watch a lot less.
