@@ziepex7009Yeah if they're doing full GSX style stuff that will be hilarious. Unless they have somehow convinced Umberto to make it compatible with Xbox (unlikely). Hopefully whatever they do they make it more user friendly then the current system bound to ATC.

What do you call including missions with failure conditions, objectives, and presumably a progression system? Rules, goals and rewards. So 2020 may not be a game. but this version you really can't argue isn't a game even if the focus still maintains on realism. Because they have introduced game mechanics.

Man, MSFS is incredible in VR. Hard to go back to the stock experience afterwards. Controlling the plane just feels so much more intuitive when you feel like you're actually in the cockpit, right?
0:23 Newark Airport Terminal C the parking structure gives it away and the A330 KLM represents KL657/658 EWR-AMS when it was still operational.

This makes me happy but also really wish they'd keep making the combat flight simulator series... image the cliffs of dovers with this kind of graphics and the attention to the details of the planes that would be awesome

They could have at least come up with a non-combat Hornet intercept mission where you take-off to non-communicating aircraft and escort them/give them frequencies...

and neither are armed the hardpoints are empty so more likely just stunts but in fighter/attack jets (why anyone would do stunts in a warthog confuses me)

2020 was 4 years ago!
FS2020 released 14 years after FSX.
MSFS 2020 is barely finished, it still have tons of bugs waiting for fix. The first two years of it on market was something like beta version. So, making new version now is very strange and very early.
@@EyeForKnowledge.They used to release a new FS every other year or so. We had a Flight Simulator release in 1995, 1998, 2000, 2000 and 2004, before the 16 year hiatus.
And now they are selling this scenario DLC for full price as a new game
Im holding off judgement. It looks nice, but will it have native support for pulling out 2d instrument panels and better multi monitor support. There was also annoying bugs where meshes for landing stips had weird segments on some of the smaller strips like the local regional airport. They would cause your plane to get slingshotted into the sky sometimes when landing - less than ideal for practice sessions.

I'm suprised there doing a new flight simulator so early and hopefully they will resurrect train simulators as well.
I'd like to see a new _Microsoft Train Simulator_ as well. If there's demand, Microsoft can easily make it happen. _Train Sim World_ could use a bit of competition.

Because the last one came out in 1982 this one came out in 2020. It’s only 4 years into its life cycle.
Read something about how Asobo ran into some engine limitations with 2020. The weather radar feature still doesn't work in pretty much all the planes of 2020.
