I loved your original intro. I have been learning from your teachings for many years now, and remember the change. I use to play drums and have an understanding of the impact they have. I wish you would consider bring back your original intro. Thank you for your time.
@truthreveal I can tell that you're SDA, by the manner that you are addressing me - always needing to be right(having the truth). I don't feel incomplete without jewelry & it does not make me feel pride. I wear jewelry when I want to dress for something special. There's no need for you to reply, you've said all you need to say to me. I know an SDA woman who bought a watch for over $500 she liked the large gold bracelet that the time piece was set in - her husband said that the time piece has not been working for years, she wears it to church because the church members would not say anything because it has a watch in it, now that is funny!
And so, it then becomes a "standard" ... How long, How short. When the training up is too lax, It becomes A problem Modesty??? again How much... Who's standard... We should ALL strive to be "modest"... Of course that is a whole Other subject, All that to say IF, We would go back to "teaching" Modesty... Yes there is even a being "modest with your words" It is something that is taught, for it to be learned, it must be taught
In Ezekiel 28:13-17 God is describing Satan. He was beautiful and greatly adorned in jewels and became full of pride and sin. Though jewelry is not sinful we should caution not to come lifted up because of it. Do not become like the rich young ruler.
This teaching does a great job for clothing and jewelry… but it is not too strong on makeup. There is a lot inferred and read into the text. Esther was making herself beautiful for a gentile/pagan king - she was in Persia. This one is still questionable in my opinion.
hallo i hope you are good, praise God all the same. Jewelry and make-up can drive one to the influence of the world , slowly you find yourself following the world which is against God. This is playing with temptation, finally you will fallen , it is a veil with deceit .We are told to take every possible opportunity to spend most our resources to invest in the work of the kingdom of God we should wear alittle amake-up nd less jewelry. GOD WILL reward you in HIS kingdom God is not LIAR.
I am really sorrowed on how modern day Christians take away from the true beauty of Yahu'ah which comes through His Son Yahusha Ha'Mashyach... They twist scriptures to justify vanity of this world and to justify themselves living in sin. A wife's beauty only comes from the Spirit of Yahu'ah, if a woman does not carry His Ruach which Yahusha sends there is no beauty in her... All makeup comes from the fallen angels and it is in vanity a woman wears it displaying being ungrateful to Yahu'ah on how she is created. If a woman needs to put on makeup to beautify herself for her husband then he is a worthless man who loves vanity more than the woman created for him. A man of Yahu'ah will always be lifted up by the Ruach of His wife and behold her beauty as glorious if she is walking according to Yahu'ah ways. Keeping yourself washed, healthy, covered and obediant is what Yahu'ah requires to have beauty, not makeup and jewelry which is according to Torah a harlot and or a woman portraying herself to be a harlot....
You're wrong just as a women dresses at her wedding or a child when playing these aren't in the spirit of vanity nor does God command against jewellery, we can wear such things to show our beauty and symbolism but those who wear it for lust or for looking beautiful to please many men are in the wrong
@olliebagley I liked your response 👍. It was humble and not with degrading intent. Here is more of an understanding of my comment... Sex constitutes a marriage, not a dress... Wearing jewelry, ordiments do not show beauty. It is walking in the ways of Yahu'ah with His Ruach. Just as His Son Yahusha was proclaimed as beautiful for His obedience to His Father. A woman can wear such things , but if she is not walking with our Father, she is not beautiful. Beauty always comes from within, and heathens who do not walk according to the Laws with the right heart do not have beauty. All women in scripture who painted their face were harlots, and if a husband needs his wife to wear make-up and or to dress a certain way it to see beauty, he is worthless. An upright husband will be honored and will be in awe of his wife's beauty by his wife's purity, covering herself and walking with Yahu'ah. Sure, there are attractions on the outside, yet beauty is within a human. Material is outside - That's why we walk in the Spirit (His Ruach), not the flesh.
Thank you for this teaching. I do have a question that wasnt covered. What about the Book of Enoch that teaches that fallen angels taught man about cosmetics? Does that mean it is inherently wrong? I love yalls teachings and have been learning so much. Thank you for your thorough explainations. Im looking forward to an explanation concerning the Book of Enoch. Shabbat Shalom.
They also thought man to make weapons, discover stones and minerals in the ground, find medicine in plants etc. These things are just wrong depending on what it is used for
The book of Enoch is not biblical canon, you can't expect biblical teachings to come from non biblical sources. Ps which one are you referring to, there are 3 all 3 written in different times in history.
@@lnsuvasquez2466what is the evidence for that, and where did Yah say I will only give X amount of books, now I agree Enoch is very corrupted but again. The concept of “cannon” you better search the origin of that concept
@@lnsuvasquez2466 I think it was the first book, if I remember correctly. Even though it is not included in the modern bibles, the people of the times clearly had read and knew the book of Enoch because there are references to it, such as in Jude and Jesus, Himself quoted Enoch. Considering this, I would think it something to be respected like any of the other scriptures.
I believe that the book of Enoch is a different context. The book of Enoch is referring to the fallen angels teaching the art of cosmetics and potions to MAN. They taught men how to deceive others and look like woman. This use of cosmetics and such taught by the fallen angels was a direct violation of YHWH’s laws. It wasn’t the actual cosmetics that were the problem. It was the use and intent behind it. Men were using them to look like women, to try to get other men to lust for them. Nothing new under the sun. You would be surprised how well some men can do that today. Some look totally like a woman. Especially with the help of surgeries and such. Men using cosmetics for the purpose of deceiving others into believing they are a woman is the violation of Torah. Women wearing cosmetics is not a violation of Torah. Women are told not to look like a man. Man is not to look like a woman. Fallen Angels taught man all of our technology, weapons, drugs, pharmekia, etc. Using those things is not a sin. Unless the purpose of their use is a sin. If I use medication for my infection, that is not a sin. If I use drugs to poison poison someone, that IS a sin. Intent is the key.
Thank you for your ministry and inspiring us not to just look to what the law permits but what the law inspires us to which is give complete devotion to Yahweh, thinking more of Him and less of ourselves. I would humbly ask that you be a bit more mindful of the visuals you include as they were a bit of a stumbling block to me. I don’t think they promote greater understanding. In fact, they may be more likely to make men stumble and women feel more insecure and the need to wear makeup. Thank you for considering.
Interesting teaching. It doesn't seem to be in sync with what Paul and Peter teach about outward adorning. If a person said, Come over to our house, but don't be concerned with wearing shoes. You would be thinking it's not necessary to wear shoes. Likewise, when Peter says don't be concerned with the outward adorning... one would be lead to think its not necessary for a Godly woman to wear and worry about such things. Proverbs 31: talks about a virtuous woman and speaks little of her outward appearance but rather her actions (works). Why would a husband want his wife to put on make-up "to look beautiful"? Is she not beautiful without makeup? Make yourself beautiful: in your heart, that it cannot be corruptible, have a meek and quit spirit, in the sight of Yah is a great price! We are told that the holy women of old adorned themselves by believing in Yah and being in Subjection to their own husbands: even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement. (Don't be concerned!)
