    No video of the tubes/tires going on the rims as I hit something other than the record button, but the Hutchinson GP-1's go on really easily so wasn't much to see anyway.
    I used Mobile 1 Synthetic Grease for all bearings.

    and wire wheeled all bolts and applied "Fluid Film" Rust and Corrosion preventive spray.

    Whocares05050 - I cannot reply to your comment, but I did answer via a direct message. Here is my answer for anyone else wondering.
    These are the Hydralic version of the magnum forks and the oil is used to dampen (slow) the fork. I'm not sure if its compression, rebound or both - I just followed the service manual directions.

      Did you have to rebuild them or did you just clean them and paint them?

    • @n1bpd
      @n1bpd  7 років тому +1

      They worked fine and I just wanted to paint them. But while taking them apart for paint I figured I may as well replace the seals etc so "accidentally" ended up rebuilding them. Because of the decision to rebuild after I'd taken them apart I didn't record anything to make a video unfortunately.

      @@n1bpd hey man, trying to rebuild my forks and running into an issue with the piston and screwing the nut at the bottom back on. The piston just spins with it. Any trick to screwing it on? Thanks

    Hello +n1bdp
    I love your videos! Me and my friends learn a lot from you.
    What type of your steering wheel do you have on this Puch Magnum?
    On 32:48 it is visible.
    Thanks!

      n1bpd On internet I found a lowered puch steering wheel, I think that could be it.

      Sorry, I dont have any experience with Tomos. Good place to start are the articles on the Moped Army Wiki - www.mopedarmy.com/wiki/Main_Page and search the forums.

      @@kenanalibegovic6724 You forgot to say old ones that had puch license beacuse the new ones have different engines. Like automatic 2 speed engine or 4 to 5 gear manual ones.

    great projekt but its easy when you buy all new parts and just put them on bike......like in factory...too much money spend
