If only people could look at something that clearly takes insane amounts of talent as art instead of just "noise"

@@thepunishersequence291 In the overall music world I’d say no, cause hard rock/metal music is just not relevant anymore, and harsh vocals + blast beats are just to difficult to get into for your casual listener. Metal world I’d say eh as well, mostly cause there is still a big disdain towards -core music. In the Deathcore scene they are legends tho. They managed to become popular in a time where this genre was way past its popularity peak, and that without really compromising their sound to make it more accessible.

@@JoseFerreira-zb7whas a drummer, triggers don’t do as much as you think. they simply output a louder version of what is played. this means that with triggers, you have to be extremely precise or else everyone will hear the mistakes that are made. picture perfect performance

Everytime I see Austin play, I'm always impress as how much smooth he is at playing this level of drum. A lot of skill and surely of practice too. Nice job!!
I know piano is also percussion but when I watch Austin i see a pianist comfortable letting his fingers flow over the keys like water. Calm, collected, natural. This here is an artiste.

Holy shit!! The First time I seen him play, I thought the double bass was edited or some shit but then I realized he’s playing double strokes… that fast… and accurate… like wtf!!.. I’ve been drumming for 20+ years and… let me just say those hand/foot techniques he’s using require a FUCK TON of time to develop and perfect…. I’m talking years and years of dedication and practice… AND being able to play that relaxed… WOW just wow!! 🤯🤯🤯

I think they just don't think it's possible or that people are somehow "cheating", I.e. the endless complaining and misunderstanding of triggers. Also, the biggest problem with the metal community is elitism and gatekeeping. Also also, agreed, heel-toe looks very different to this. If I had to name this technique I'd call it "Stomp Strokes".

@@coreyw5981 not only, it also depends on how powerfully you can play. Kerim Lechner (krimh) of Septicflesh uses both the triggered and the acoustic sound because he plays extremely powerful fast kicks. In this case here, I doubt there is any acoustic kick to be heard
@@coreyw5981 if you trigger a drum, you can either completely replace the hits with a sample or you can layer a sample underneath the original recording. So you could add a more clicky sound using a clicky sample, but you could also achieve a clicky sound without triggers and just by mixing your drums differently.
