I enjoy your pack reviews. I’ve been using their latest CPL24 XPac version and I really like it. The back panel and back strap material has changed now to this light and airy material. They really perfected it now. Only thing I would like is a little bit bigger quick access pocket and a fidlock sternum strap.
Do you think this holds slightly more than 24L? I was comparing the dimensions between this and the GoRuck GR2 26L and they’re very similar. CPL24 is 18 x 11.5 x 7 and the GR2 is 18 x 12.5 x 7.25.
Doubtful it's more than 24L. GR2 has a lot more interior pockets, dividers, built-in pouch that take up volume. So the same exterior dimensions can have different actual capacities.
Great review and content. Any thoughts or upcoming review on the new 26L Civic Travel Bag? I’ve been looking for a smaller 1 bag travel pack that fully opens for easy packing but also has side water bottle sleeves. Thanks again for the awesome review of the CPL24.
I haven't tried the CTB yet actually but it looks like a great pack, not that different from the CPL, but the water bottle pockets are a good selling point.
Thanks for great review! Do you by chance know the dimensions of your laptop in this video? I am getting a new laptop (Framework 16: 14.04x11.43x0.71 inches) and debating between CPL24 and CPL28.
My laptop is about 14.25 long by 9.75 wide. It's a Dell 15.6" Inspiron 15 5000. Mine fits easily in the pocket. The zipper opening on the CPL26 is ~15", the length of the pocket is ~17" tall, by about 11.5-11.75" wide depending on how much I cram the tape down. That's being a little conservative with the zipper, you need a little space to get it shut. Yours should fit lengthways, and it MIGHT fit width ways, but it's going to be very tight, like cram it in there and hard to get the zipper closed tight.
I have version 3, and I traveled with it for a week in a tropical climate. What I most like is the new back panel design and the ergonomics. But now I'm thinking about the CTB 26 because I just need a bit of extra space. Do you have any plans of reviewing the CTB26?
What a coincidence, I just got back from a trip with the CTB26 and plan on posting a review this week! Spoiler: it's very similar to the CPL but slightly larger and the extra space from the water bottle pockets is very helpful.
Your vids are greatly appreciated! Quick question…I am flying United Airlines to Italy, I have seen the personal item carry dimensions for that airline at 9 x 10 x 17 inches. Do you think the CPL 24 will fit into that dimension?
That's pretty tight, it's 1.3" long and 2" wider than the personal item dimensions. The real question is whether or not the airline will check the dimensions on your bag.
@@OneBagTravels thank you for the response…it looks like im going to have to advance and site visit the airline prior to travel…United is tight with their dimensions…
It's heavy, but very solid and well-built. It's great if you're carrying a laptop. But if you're not, a lot of the weight on this pack goes into the laptop sleeve.
I can't remember when I made the sizer box, it may have been after I made this video. Pic of the bag under airplane seats though, can't really fake that 🤷♂️

I like that back fabric update. I'm going to pick up the CTB here pretty soon to compare
I’ve been using a 38L Fjallraven for my one bag travels for 4yrs and have never been charged as a carry on bag.
Nice! I occasionally take a bag that's too big and haven't been charged yet, some airlines are more picky about this than others.

@@OneBagTravels Really?? Ok, I can't wait for the review. Thanks.
Good review. You reviewed the series 1 medium and large Knackpack. Can you review the medium and large series 2?
That second series is a great improvement, I'll see if I can get my hands on one
Nice Review, do you have an Favorit Backpack at the Moment for Traveling? Best Regards
This one is my favorite right now, the new Osprey Daylite 26+6 might be changing my mind though!
@@OneBagTravels Cool to know, i Check it out tonight. Have an good one 🍺

Hmm... Would the front pocket hold a water bottle? If so what kind.. many thanks
It does! I just tried and a 1L Nalgene easily fits in there with the bag empty. It's not going to fit with the bag full though.
thx for the video! would you recommend upgrading to the V2 for someone who owns the V1?
Probably not worth it. The upgrades are all pretty minor tweeks on already good pack.
Hello. What is your favorite backpack or your three favorite backpacks? Why? I would be very grateful for an answer.
This is one of my favorites, others would be the Thule Aion 28, then for a bag with a solid carry-on system the Osprey Farpoint 40
@@OneBagTravels thank you so much 🤝🏻
A bit too heavy for a 24L

Wait, you never actually filmed yourself putting the bags in the sizing box? Noooo way you just scammed everyone...😂😂
