When you playback, you're playing recorded digital footage. There is no way to optically zoom on that footage. When you optically zoom in on an object with any camera, you're physically moving a lens to magnify the focal point. Hence, you have to digitally zoom in on the focal point on recorded image. This often results in pixelization as the footage is rastor based. Higher megapixel cameras can help mitigate the pixelization as more pixels are in the footage. Someone else jump in if the above isn't 100% on point.
Is it possible to add the Hikvision 4200 an event that activates a video clip in my computer when it recognizes a person's face or in another example does not recognize? if it does' how do I do it? thank you!
You would need to use python, opencv and ffmpeg. If any face Works. If you need face recognition then an additional layer of Machine Learning would be needed!

Probably doesn’t install the driver , have you checked it on the local PC to make sure the device does

To be clear about my question, i need to have cctv camera allow me to playback with optical zoom .
