Love the review! Been waiting a while but you did it lol. I agree that it’s easy to drink! And it’s worthwhile to note: the 10y9m age statement is only that because the youngest bourbon in it, even if it’s one ounce in 100 gallons, is the age statement they have to put on it. I know that YOU know that lol, but some people see it and think it’s all 10 years old. There could be some 15-20 year juice in that bottle, but the youngest stuff gets aaaaaaallllll the attention. I went back and tried it again today. Is it undrinkable? No. Is it the worst I've ever had... no. It's just not worth the price or searching for. Most stores hide this stuff for their vip's or have it on a point system. For 70+ there's just so many better options. Honestly, it reminds me of a barrel proof 7 year heaven hill. I have the bottled in bond. This Elijah is harsh on the finish and burns all the way down into my stomach. Didn't use to do that. But the Heaven Hill BIB does. I will drink it and not waste the money, but I would never buy this again and wish I hadn't the first time. It's unfortunate because this has been one of my favorites for years.

It sucks guys. Just be honest. It’s the worst EC barrel proof of the last ten years hands down. It isn’t worth the cost or the hunt by a long shot now. 😢 I bought a bottle today and am feeling ripped off. It’s average bourbon at best

I actually like the Honey Dew. With bottles like that, I think you have to enjoy it for what it is rather than criticize it for what it isn't.

All Single Barrels are not the same thats the Beauty of it.
That's not a single barrel. It's a limited release small batch. All the juice in bottles labeled A124 is the same.
