It sounds awful
The best sounding car in my opinion. This car is a piece of art.
9:22 I’m curious if that man ever accomplished his goal of taking flight in a pickup truck
OMG! What a machine. Good job Yamaha!
There also is a LFA Tokyo Edition, James!
Mr. Commonsense 😂
Wow the exhaust note and the digital instrument clusters sounds and looks better than a Ferrari ! Amazing.
This car for me has to be the best super car out there, untouchable, underestimated and pure enjoyment. I once had a Toyota gt86, although not the same materials and performance the LFA reminds me of it in so many other ways, the interior, body styling and precision, handling, road clinging, looks and rarity and reliability basically a very ultra cheap baby version of the LFA in my opinion. I've driven ferraris and porsches around a track and the gt86 was much more fun. So i can only imagine how much more fun the LFA is to drive. Great video, if i had the money, it would be the LFA over any car. Id say the same in ten years time, its a one off future proof super car.
You know a car is Great when Sir Jeremy Clarkson had to put his hand on heart and say it's the best car he's ever driven despite driving things like the 458 Speciale and Italia, Carrera GT, F40, M3, 1M and lots more. It's simply a Legend.
Hear that Scream... Hit the like button!!! Another epic Video James!
This is, by and far, the best review of this car I have ever seen.
Wasn't the engine a Yamaha unit?
Engine was developed by yamaha and Toyota and the exhaust was tuned by yamahas music division lol
@@W--ko9ms Toyota bulid and designed the engine. Yamaha only developed the exhaust and sound related to the system.
No. Toyota developed and did the R&D. Yamaha was consulted only on certain aspects of the engine.
Regardless of that, Toyota owns it.
@Joel Schembri It's cause it's so damn small and light. They used titanium in places where inertial forces could pose a problem. Also had basically no flywheel if I remember correctly.
Yamaha and Toyota collaboration is way back from 2000GT. Love LFA sound never tired of it like old school F1.
YAMAHA > Thank you for this engine and sound ! :)
Yamaha not build that engine
@@noelbonilla37 That Engine was developed with the help of Yamaha...!
And the Engine was actually manufactured at the Yamaha facility...The Engine even has th Yamaha Logo and the name and signatures of the Yamaha Engineer who built it...!
Dream car for half a million. I’m not a fan of Lexus but this thing is something else

I believe they actually made 50 nurburgring edition cars

@@igorv4631 bruh look up how many Nur packages were made clearly 50...
That sound at 9000+ rpm is otherworldly!
thank god I had my earphones on for the start.... it was a pornographic sound!
*THIS* is my favourite jww video, you did this car justice mate, the best exhaust note ever
Haha remember I was driving a bog standard Lexus when Meadons review was in EVO and felt I was the bee's knees even though my IS was rubbish in comparison. Also Top gears review Clarkson saying it was the best car he'd ever driven. 😂😂.
this car is looking ever so much epic as the year go by. interior still looks special.
Sounds mean from the outside!!!??🔥🔥 Upload on the mark!! It’s epic +mrjww 😁
Funny how this car couldn't find buyers when it first came out, but now it's starting to appreciate from then $350k ish price they were going for. They will be going for a million plus in the next 5 years. Wait and see. Great video as always James.
