6:12 when it was released it was one of the fastest road gearboxes, faster than many dsgs. A funny fact is that many people never realized that depending on how you press the lever it changes faster or slower
I just realized in my ls430 that it downshifts when you double tap the brake pedal
Every time I see or hear the LFA I love it more than before. It’s proportions are just about perfect, and the sound… people complained about the price back in the day but seems like a bargain these days
I’ve be waiting for a really long time for the lfa test drive and no other UA-camr did an lfa test drive like tedward.
4:44 that nice little greeting to the e46 in the form of a downshift is much appreciated
One of the best if not the best sounding car ever, my dream dream car, nothing like it and fucking love it
I've been in love with this car since 2011, and the sound still makes me smile.
I love these because I think most people wouldn’t know it from an LC. You get to drive an unbelievable supercar without everyone staring at you like an aventador
Until you gas it anyway 😂
4:16 OOOO THOSE DOWNSHIFTS!!!
Whoever thinks electricity will ever make up for that sound is delusional
Tell that to Elon & couple others 🤣
@@The-Celestial couple lmao
@@The-Celestial lol those Iphone heads don’t know anything about fun. They think numbers make up for everything
Yamaha is making electric motor just so you know
I saw a Taycan and Model S (not plaid) do a green light race and I'm gonna have to disagree with that. My windows were up and my ears perked up instantly and I was actually in awe
What I love about the LFA, is that to any person that isn’t into cars, they will think that this is just another Lexus sports car. But little do they know…
every audiophiles' dream car.
@Larios one day I strive to own one for that reason
The harmonics of a V10 are something else, the two uneven banks of 5 make a truly unique noise
You damn right!!!!! The sounds are intoxicating
Thank you for uploading this. Probably the closest I'll ever get to driving an LFA but it was thrilling all the same.

Frog crossing: 🐸 HOLY SHI-
This was absolutely spine tingling to watch and listen to, thank you.
I’m in love with this car. Always have been. Got to see one here in New Zealand on a racetrack. One had popped up for sale at Lexus NZ so they sent one from Singapore to demo at a big racing event for advertising. I have just today bought Sony XM4 noise cancelling headphones. I’ve heard binaural audio in shitty headphones. But holy shit this is insane
I just can't afford to watch any LFA video. It's my dream car, and by the time I've made up even some money, it's gonna be an expensive classic.
$500k +
It was around 400 to 500k last year. One of them sold for 800k recently. I know your pain.
@@kutayarcan911 yes, I saw the bringatrailer auction
You can't find any for less then 800k in 2024@@sahilm483
If possible, i'd love to see a POV of a Carrera GT!
This Lexus sounds better
@@Toyota4Life debatable
@@swernagin1753 no not really the Lexus literally sounds like a Formula One car.
@@Toyota4Life sound is pretty subjective tho and it's pretty obvious you have a bias towards toyota
I love both cars but to me the Carrera GT is overrated
Tedward! Been watching you since you went full-time, glad you’re getting the exposure you deserve. Awesome sound coupled with a beautiful car!
Thank you!!!
@@TedwardDrives I love Lexus LFA sounds
I think its a very fair statement to say that the lfa will by far forever be the greatest sounding naturally aspirated v10 ever built. The sound of the acceleration is absolutely incredible paired with the way the single clutch transmission shifts through gears makes it truly a work of art.
Cool but I think that Lamborghini Hurácan V10 and Audi R8 V10 plus are also on the same level.
The car is so perfect from the factory I wouldn’t even put an air freshener in it
I'm scared. And shocked. I was thinking the other day that you should drive an LFA. And here we are. 😱
God damn, this car, this sound, for something with a licence plate, no equal.
I was feeling so tripped out by this video till I realized this is the exact road I drive to work on, and at 6:45 he tested the brakes in the exact same spot I tested my brakes on my Subaru outback LMAO. Very smart of him to test the car on this road, there hasn't been a cop there in years.
Wow, been waiting for this vid for a long time, absolute dream car 🔥🔥
This is definitely my favorite car you have ever reviewed
Rims destroy the whole car. Who’s idea was that😭
it's kinda ugly but it's someone else car. he's happy with it and we can't command what to do
i thought i was the only one.
@@kennethbryan3738 bruh it's the owner car. it's owner opinion that the wheel's and the underglow looks good
@@golfalphayankee1545 and it's a lot of others' opinion that they look bad. mine included. freedom of speech allows me to rag on them, as does youtube's terms of service. so long as I'm not insulting the "alphabet people," as Dave Chappelle calls them (or any other protected group) I'm good to keep on hating
Finally someone with a brain! Everything you said x100.
The beauty of any Lexus is, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles like Merc or Ferrari, But it always works well to the fullest and more importantly for an eternity.
The wheels have some serious 935 vibes! Love the way they bring out the line and color of the car 🥺
Now this is a real hot take
I’ve noticed some cars were lowering their windows as this masterpiece flies by past them to hear that roaring V10 beauty
This was unexpected lol. Cyberpunk ray field caliburn op
man the noise you get in a v10 engine is harmonious. sounds like a e60 m5. what a car, it is just a bit outdated but the engine sound is something else. everyone complains about clunky single clutch but it adds to the character of the car.
By the way Lexus must put this v10 Engine in the new upcoming Isf
Never been so excited for someone else to drive a car.
4:35 the captions say: [Music]
You're right
It is
After watching this video,im grateful to be alive since i hear lexus lfa engine sound which is underrated supercar since 2010 and now several people are realize and regret underestimate this car after they watching this video you made. Lexus LFA is masterpiece cause v10 engine sound so eargasm and relaxing
Engine braking looked pretty wild! I feel if you spend a little more time with these single clutch transmissions they grow on you especially when your pushing it. Great review!
The sound of heaven, 9000rpm of natural stress relief.
Tedward - thank you for this upload 🙏
Except he never actually reved it to 9000rpm whilst driving. Maybe when the car was stoped and in neutral but whilst driving highest I saw was about 8300rpm
This is one of the “Holy Grail” cars to me....it would be on the list if I kissed a magic frog and became a wealthy prince 👑
I would never get sick of that sound!
if you ever need a definition of perfection, this car is the physical representation of it, the sound, the design, the engineering behind it, the whole car screams I AM PERFECT, like something taken straight out of heaven itself.
