- Churros are one of my FAVORITE desserts! Warm, fried, crispy dough with a light melt-in-your-mouth inside rolled in cinnamon sugar and served with a super easy chocolate dipping sauce. Made with simple pantry ingredients and impossible to resist!

Tip: You don't need a mixer! You can do it by hand.. of course it'll take effort. Also add a 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon to the mix. And if you have churros leftovers just put them in the oven and they will become crispy again.

Bonny, I noticed he said 1/4 cup sugar in the video, but the printed recipe states 1 Tbsp granulated sugar (13g). Which did you use?? TIA

In Mexico we have a very famous restaurant called EL MORO. There you can eat churros . Buuut you can choose your hot chocolate ; Español, Frances o Mexicano !!! Whenever you come to Mexico City it is a must! Do not miss it!
I made these and it was lightly crispy and soft! Very good! I put it in the air fryer, a couple hours later, and it was deliciously crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside! Thank you for this recipe!

Excellent recipe! I didn't have a pot big enough for full churros so I made small bite sized versions, light fluffy and delicious as well as super easy to make!

In Spain the most common version of churros is actually just flour, water and salt and then dipped on sugar (actually I never heard of another version beside that haha). But I will be definitelly trying this one!
This is choux pastry, the stuff profiteroles are made of. Spanish churros are made of what you said.
Lo mismo en Argentina. Masa salada pero cubiertos en azúcar.
Same in Miami in Cuban churrerias. Flour, salt, and water.

I just discovered you and find your videos so refreshing. I'm not into peeps either, but my daughters are. I'm going to recreate an excellent dessert I had at a Mexican restaurant: 4" (or small, I can't remember the size) churros and they served them with TWO sauces: Mexican chocolate which you made but also a small bowl of dulce de leche (dipping consistency) so probably dded a little cream to it. IT WAS AWESOME and so so cute.

Oh my, I've made choux pastry for cream puffs and such, never knew that churros were related. And I love fried things.
felt like making something today, and so i did! it was either his loft house sugar cookies, or these, but since i had made the amazing sugar cookies many times before that, i decided to try these, and let me say they were AMAZING! my piping bag knobs were a bit TOO small to make these, so i felt that just using a round tip would be fine and worked just as great! so i highly recommend this recipe!

Ingredients:
120g flour
85g butter
1 cup water (maybe like 240ml or less)
50g sugar
1 tsp salt
3 eggs
1tsp vanilla extract
For chocolate sauce:
chocolate chips
2/3 of cream
2tsp of cinnamon
3 quater of a cup of sugar
(if not smooth, 10 seconds in microwave)

Thank you! We made these for dinner tonight! My 5 and 3 year olds helped with the batter. They were super excited! We made the churros like in the Mexican Churrerías, a spiral 🌀 then cut them up. Kids think you are awesome. Our “snail” churros were super fluffy inside and crispy on the outside. Thanks for having measurements in GRAMS as well! I missed the temperature the oil should be set to… anyway, thanks!
