Mr. Du'An, your effort to help out people in the Networking community is greatly appreciated! You just showed me one more tool towards success. Gracias!
Thank you. I appreciate your support.
This is a game changer. I tried Onenote a while back but didn't really understand how to use it properly. You did a great job showing how it can be used effectively for studying. I just spent some time tonight taking all the provided pdf slides from Neil Andersons Udemy course and adding them to Onenote. Super easy, drag and dropped them in. Now when I'm listening to him talk about the section I'm on, I can make my own notes overtop his slides and highlight what I need to remember. Side bonus, I can sync what I'm doing on my pc with the Onenote app and study on the go. I feel like my notes are turbo charged now. Thanks Du'An.
This made my day. Glad to help! Good luck studying. #LabEveryday
I use OneNote every day at work and didn't know about some of these things. Game changer.
This is the best oneNote help video i have seen so far.
Good stuff, thanks.
going into a ROUTE bootcamp on monday, and you may have just saved my life!! I have been using CherryTree but definitely going to be using OneNote instead
Great video Du’An! Thanks for that! Been using Evernote but will be switching over to OneNote now. Interesting to see how you tie it all together.
I wanted to give you a big thanks for this video. You have helped me reorganize my notes for taking the CCENT.
Thank you. I’m glad to hear that. Good luck with your studies.
Hey, thanks. Love this video. You gave me a lot more tips on OneNote.
My man! Glad to help. Thanks for checking out the video man.
This is the most beautifully organized thing I have ever seen!!!
Thank you. I am going to use this information for my certification studying.
As soon as I have seen this OneNote video, I have to see it. I am studying for certifications and will check it out.
Awesome! I really hope it helps you. If it does please let me know. Thank you.
You have to try MS Onenote on an iPad Pro with an apple stylus pen! you will love it more. Thanks brother you taught me more useful things.
Du'An, you did a great job with illuminating how to leverage some of the features of OneNote to enhance note-taking. I will definitely be incorporating this into my studies - working on ICND2 now (taking exam next week). Thanks for taking the time to share!
Thank you. Good luck on your exam. Anything I can do to help?
I think I'm good to go. You've already helped me out immensely. I got a Safari Books Online account based on one of your UA-cam video suggestions (free since I'm military) and have been using the Kevin Wallace 200-105 series as a study aid. Also using the Chris Bryant videos along with Wendell Odom's ICND2 book. I'm labbing with Boson, Packet Tracer, & my own hardware . Thanks for all that you do for the Networking community!
This is so timely! I was just rolling out of bed thinking about how i need to get organized. Thanks Du'An!
You're welcome. Good luck organizing your notes and thanks for checking me out!
MS Onenote indeed is a great tool. DOUBLE THUMBS UP
Thanks Ali!
I've had OneNote all this time and use notepad.... Thanks for this help, will definitely use it during my CCNA studies!
Good video man! I use one note to organize my notes as well. Didn't know you could have subsections that you could expand though. Thanks
Thank you and you’re welcome.
So dope!!! Thanks for this fam!!! I didn't know OneNote could be used like this. I'm definitely gonna apply this to my certification training.
You’re welcome family. I’m always glad to help. Good luck with your studies. 💯
Definitely going to have use this! Thanks for all of you informative videos they've been a great help to me and to others as well.
Thank you. Glad to help you on your journey.
Thank you Bro! I appreciate you taking time to drop a nugget like this I have this program on my laptop but never used it now with me studying for my ccna I have a reason.
Even better than the last OneNote vid you made. Will definitely use these tips for my cert!
Thanks Murph! I have two more coming that will hopefully help you also.
Awesome! Looking forward to it. OneNote definitely changed them game for me at work, but there is always more to learn!
Dope! Great to hear.
How did you input the information into OneNote to begin with? What was the source of the information? Thanks for all that you do. Great Job all the way round, true inspiration...
RECOMMENDATION: If you are new to OneNote, I recommend you use the version you can find in the Windows App Store. NOT the version found in Office Professional 2016. The reason is that Microsoft is not going to support that 2016 Pro version with new features. All future development is going to be focused on the version for Windows 10 in the App Store. Here is story about this: www.theverge.com/2018/4/18/17252312/microsoft-office-2019-onenote-windows-10-app - so if you are going to learn how to use OneNote, you may as well learn in the newer version found in the Windows App store. PS - if you are a Mac user, the only version available to you now is the newer version anyway.
OneNote is cool. Been using this program for a while
Great video as always man. Going to be trying this out later!
Cool thanks fam. Glad you enjoyed it.
Man, thanks for the video. I have been having a dilemma on such a subject, how to prepare for a certification. I can't wait to hear!
You’re welcome. Thanks for checking it out. Which certification are you working on? And can you be a little more specific?
CompTIA Trifecta. Frankly, I'm intelligent and have a network background, but I have a massive ADHD symptoms and it makes studying difficult. I feel overwhelmed by the material even though I know I can do it.
Ok thanks for being more specific. I have a presentation that may help you. I’m putting it together now. My goal is to have it out next week.
Awesome! I can make a donation to you by paypal as thanks.
Thank you. You don’t have to, but my Mom told me to never block a blessing. My paypal is yesidotech@gmail.com thank you again.
Du'An this is a great video. Keep them coming
Thanks Rick! Sure will. Any suggestions?
Thanks this is so amazing!!!
Good breakdown fam, you definitely use Onenote more efficiently than me, I guess it's time I tidied mine up ;-)
Thanks bro. The way your present your knowledge transfers is inspiring. A1 Quality!
Appreciate that feedback man! More to come soon :-)
Cool. Thanks man. We have to link up for that round table!
We do indeed, whenever you're ready! Let's give #LabEveryday community some more motivational content
Ok bet. Sometime in August let’s do that. I’ll hit your DM soon. #LabEveryday
Would love to get your insight on Cisco Meraki and how it will impact Networking.
Solid info man!
Dope! Hope you can put it to good use. Thanks for checking out the video.
Great video as always Du’an. Do you think you could make your notes available for download for CCNA R&S?
Thank you. I believe we should make our own notes. But if there’s a topic you struggle with I may can provide info and guidance.
Thank you for this!!
You’re welcome.
Can you put out a in depth walk through
Thanks for the video. SUBBED
Duan would you be able to share this onenote?? I fell in love with this one!!
Great video thank you :)
what up man, had a question was hoping you could help me out with. I know you said you went to centriq training for your CCNA in another video (forgive me if i have that wrong) i was wondering. Did you go for the full 4 mo career path experience or did you just go to the classes that they have? I ask because i am thinking of using this discount they have for their annual pass and take up the CCNA certification classes that they offer. Any information you have would be great! Thanks.
Can you provide a link to that switch hardening procedure? Thanks!
Sure. You want it in OneNote format?
Du'An Lightfoot yes please. Thanks!! antwrig at Gmail dot com.
How do you make the + part and it expands @ 20:25
Hey Du'An, I'm finally breaking my A+ and making great progress learning it. I have one question-I'm writing notes and its very long, is it recommended to use my laptop using One Note, and will typing also help me retain learning?
Hi Du'An, can you advise what recording software you use to post what is on the screen and yourself at the same time? Thanks for your vids, I never used one note but after your vid I think it'll help really keep my studies organized and interactive with my books and labs.
awwww man screen capture from other vids/ lab commands paste into notes, sweet!
does this give similiar experience using on android app?
it would be great if this could work similarly on mobile as most of my study is done on mobile only bcoz im always on the go for work. will try it for mobile if Available
How did you get the Quiz CCNET ?
your mic is really quiet
I’ll check my levels. Thanks for the feedback.
Hand written is miles better.
Using OneNote is almost like writing a book.
Cuzzo it’s gets deeper than that.
Du'An Lightfoot right cuzzo. It's good to use to create a documentation for work
Facts. That’s how I first started using it.
Right, same here.
