Ya but another big consideration is sun bears are a phase out species, and there will be no bear. Marcella is not young and most likely won’t be around if the new complex ever got to fruition.
From what I’ve heard it will probably be the next renovation at the zoo, I want them to stick around but they may become more Sloth Bear focused given they have two on a breeding recommendation.
@@rjb_wildlife ya the reason the aza is phasing out sun bears is so they have more sloth bear holders. I will be super excited when the renovation comes around!
