Vettel knew what was going on.
Everyone did
He tried overtaking Rosberg once. Later just stayed away from the fight.
Such good sportsmanship from Vettel, drove near Rosberg just to give him a thumbs up and congratulate him for being the 2016 WC! Props to Rosberg, being able to drive to his best while being sandwiched by two multiple time world champions!
The cars of that era were so beautiful, simple and elegant designs
those rear wing are afwul tho imo
💀💀💀💀
Rosberg deserved this one.
100% deserved.
He fought hard, and I was so happy Vettel didn't bother going for P2.
Thats some dangerous driving man!
Lmaoo can't beleive he actually said that😂😂😂
@@okayboomer8815 he says it everytime someone gives him a taste of his own medicine
@@ManOfPillowDoom "A taste of his own medicine". Get off your high horse, there's nothing wrong with this at all, every driver on the grid would do it given the situation. Apart from the armchair fans who absolutely swear on their lives that they would be a gentleman and just accept the massive pace advantage that car had at Abu Dhabi and just let Rosberg cruise to a nice easy P2 for the title 😆
@@BonnetLicker86 They were literally praising this same behaviour when Sainz kept Norris in DRS to stop Russell and Hamilton coming through in Singapore. It's hilarious
@Roxas-ph3te Lewis crashed Alonso again on Sunday 😂 heard nothing from England guys they was crying about Alonso faluts
Cant wait to rewatch this later today. Thanks for the upload ❤️
Holy shit i remember that was unfair from Lewis like Hell. Thx God Nico wins
That wasn't unfair. A good driver would just have overtaken Lewis with this strat. Like do that to Fernando or Verstappen and u will get overtaken. But Nico Rosberg had his 1 lucky Championship great Job.
@@EinfachnurItax360 It was unfair. Stop seeking excuses. It was not a lucky Championship. Rosberg win. Get over it.
@@mikawelll Im Not looking for excuses but without Checo slowing down like that Hamilton would have won because he would have had the gap to pit. Or Magnussen this season was unfair too right? It was never a penalty so its allowed to do that and not unfair.
@@EinfachnurItax360 Still unfair even for Magnussen. That the point.
And Lewis has lost the 2021 Championship WAY before Abu Dhabi.
@@mikawelll Mate tell me how Something u never get Penaltys for is unfair? And No Hamilton didn't lose it before like i said without the 10 seconds he lost to Pérez extrem slow driving He would have had a gap that was big enough to rejoin in front. Look in my POV that was fair u can do that according to the FIA. So no it isn't unfair.
This is some very realistic gameplay
😂
Rosberg grabbing DRS off Hamilton on the very last lap was also key
Even if vettel got past him Rosenberg wouldve still won championship
I still remember Vettel saying: I didn't pass rosberg because it was unfair
He didnt really said. He was pushing but he couldn't do a risky attempt he could ruin the championship of both Lewis and Rosberg
Mercedes was also faster on the straights which was more difficult for seb to pass
Or because He couldnt pass him on a Ferrari😅
When did he ever say that? I want the source
Source : Trust me bro.
Why it was unfair? A player trying to win over his teammate. He ain’t knocking anyone over. I would say it was a great strategy from Lewis, but Nico did a great job to overcome it. Would you say Checo blocking Lewis at the same venue in AD21 as unfair? No, he was just making sure to lessen the gap between Lewis and Max. Which eventually helped Max during the safety car. If not for that defensive drive from Checo, Lewis would have pitted during safety car and still emerge ahead of Max.
Sebastian is the man
But Hamilton is such a clean driver and would never use dirty tactics like this ? Or would he ? Im just thrilled that Merc's reign is over finally and boyOboy have they fallen !! 🤞🙏L.H. never gets that 8th title. Schumacher is the real 🐐, IMO !!!
Pretty much Hamilton blocking Rosburg and Vettle blocking Max ,team Germany 😅
hamilton is not a teamplayer
It was literally head to head for the world title and the constructors title had been won well over a month earlier, you melt.
@@BonnetLicker86how has the mango done since he's not had the best car? 0 wins since 2021 😆
Roseburg an Hamilton knows each from teenagers lifestyle never try pointing out driver, thats hard lies of work
Karma bit Hamilton same place a few year's later lol
Karma for what? What's he done wrong here? What's he done that all the other drivers wouldn't do given the situation? He needed Rosberg to be P4.
@@BonnetLicker86 He needed to win the race, not play tricks especially against his team's best interest. If Rosberg had the same idea he should have crashed into him in the first corner.
Hamilton threw that championship away in Japan
And not his engine blowing in malaysia from p1? Or all the engine penalties in the opening rounds? Select outrage.
@@Bahamuttiamat Rosberg beat Hamilton when it counted and deservedly won the title
@@nenuphar2104 No Rosberg had almost the perfect reliability while Hamilton had to do comebacks from back on the grid at least 4 times. Plus had the malaysia engine blow out
@@alexlacl8730 hello Lewis Fanboy bla bla bla
@@apl3770 can't argue wifh facts with the haters always your no sense conspiracies
It's being manipulated man!
The irony being that it's being manipulated in a legal manner by somehow who's allowed to do so
@@BonnetLicker86if bottas didn't take out max in November there would be no last day race for championship
Some dangerous driving by Hamilton backing up the field
@@andrewwright4195 august u mean
Unimaginable those 4 guys were champions in the future, Seb donuts but Hamilton lost his magic coolness just disrespect his teammate but too late Rosberg was save thanks to Seb 2 German champs within last 3 years unbelievable, the cool down lap becomes heartwarming waves of king Seb 🥹🍾🏆🥳🤩🏁
This conduct from Shamilton is what turned me off him for good.
"Shamilton" you child 😆. Also, what's wrong with his actions here? What would you have done when you needed your rival to finish P4? Just sat there and let him come 2nd, hoping for a reliability issue?
@@BonnetLicker86 Yes, Shamilton.
You must have missed the team radio at the time. Sulked like a child the whole time while blatantly refusing team orders to decrease his lap time. The beginnings of his no one else is allowed to win but me phase, that's only just recently faded from him after being humbled by the new era.
Nico drove a better season and Shamilton did not. It's really that simple. Instead of realising this after his own terrible season and not being satisfied with coming second while winning the last race and accepting that sometimes that's the way it goes and lifting the team up, he chose to tarnish what should have been a great night for the team and made it about him.
He refused the team orders and told them to leave him alone so he could sulk and be spiteful while almost sobbing "I'm losing the championship here". No Lewis, a championship is lost over a season. Lewis threw away many opportunities himself. Had he held himself together he could very well have overcome his bad mechanical luck. But he didn't. He let it get to him and he crumbled under the pressure. You really think he earned the championship?
I dont know how anyone can look at what he did that night objectively and state he was right to do that. If you want the championship, act like a champion, not a sore loser.
@NomadUniverse "If you want the championship, act like a champion, not a sore loser" Cool, so what do you call Nico retiring immediately after winning the title? Was that the act of a champion or a coward? If he believed he was better, surely he stays at Mercedes and goes and wins more titles?
What about what Massa is doing now sending the 2008 Championship to court while Lewis didn't after AD 2021? Is that the act of a champion or a sore loser? What about Senna crashing Prost out in Japan to win the World title? Was that the act of a champion? Because that's what made him champion. Maybe Lewis should have taken Nico out like Ayrton and be rewarded with a title just like he was? Just like Schumacher when he took out Damon Hill for the title. Definitely the act of a champion I guess, because he got the title in the end😂
@@Roxas-ph3te obviously the act of a champion. He sacrificed so much for it, he had to step back and take care of what matters. This is no secret. It's also why he won. He sacrificed more.
We're talking about what Hamilton did here. All of that is irrelevant
@@NomadUniverse This is obviously relevant because you're throwing a ridiculous double standard at Lewis vs Senna or Schumacher. The constructors championship was won and so regardless of what happened at AD 16 it would only change the drivers championship, nothing else. So what Lewis did if anything showed restraint compared to Senna or Schumacher who were willing to break rules in order to win. Those aren't acts of a champion despite in both cases them winning titles due to them breaking rules.
Your point on Nico sacrificing everything doesn't mean a thing. Do other drivers not have families? Do they not have to sacrifice to be the best they can be every Sunday? So whether Lewis sacrificed more or less than Nico doesn't matter, he was the better driver and unfortunate due to reliability, it's just a fact. It's one of the few seasons the driver with the most wins and poles lost the title. That just says everything you need to know.
Mercedes were so dominant back then that their second best driver won a championship. So when Hamilton fans complain now about Red Bull’s dominance I tell them to STFU. I also lost respect for Hamilton because of this .
Hmm funny, I didn't see Lewis congratulate Nico on this championship like he did Lando winning his first race. I guess he really isn't that guy everyone claims he is. No respect there....
get a life
That was like almost 10 years ago...
He did congratulate him. Plus, Lando and Lewis are friends who have been through no real rivalry. Conversely, this was a bitter world title fight where Rosberg had been very ruthless and crafty behind the scenes, it was far more poisnonous than 2021 had ever been.
