Hamilton and Vettel adding together seven F1 world championships, and both have won multiple races. For the first time they fight for a F1 world title head to head to discover who is the fastest man on the planet. Finally Silver v Red - Clash of Champions was released! I made this documentary thanks to all of you because last year, after post The Silver War documentary, the supported and good words that I received was huge. I don't know if next year I'll can make another documentary so I hope you enjoy this one because I put all my effort into make the best Formula 1 documentary possible. Please, If you are a Vettel or Hamilton fan be respectful with the other fans because we are here for enjoy our passion, which is Formula 1. Enjoy the documentary and share it around the world!
I can't express how good these videos are. I get goosebumps and sit on the edge of my seat at dramatic moments even though I already know the results
Since I don't get the interview coverage in the states as much, the interviews make it all that much better.
Thank you for putting these professional level films out for free and for putting this out during the F1 drought that is winter!!
FLoz, what a Masterpiece, just speechless man, well done and I can't wait till what arrives in 2018.
FINALLY!!! A NEW F1 DOCUMENTARY! I almost bored myself from "The Silver War" because I kept watching it too much. Time for F1 2017
iv been waiting for this dude... silver war brought me back to f1
Well Floz. I thought that the Hamilton v Rosberg was incredibly. Well you overdid yourself. This one looks actually in most parts like an absolute professional TV documentary. Hands down the best Formula 1 related editor on UA-cam. As a technical question I would like to ask you as a fellow editor, what kind of software do you use for editing these amazing videos? All the best mate :D Cheers
Sebastian not getting a world championship in a Ferrari almost makes me want to cry
its like massa 2008 in brazil
They didn't deserve him winning one
@@blacklotus5364 they both did. Massa was one corner away from winning it and in 2017 lost the championship cause the ferrari engine was unreliable. U can see from this video
@@andreabertocchi9288 Yeah both drivers deserved to win but IMO Ferrari didn't deserve them, I mean

notice how senna is hamilton hero and schumacher is vettels. the rivalry that never came inspired the rivalry that is
I wouldnt go that far. It was a wildly disappointing season. Maybe if you cut it in half it would have been great.
@@ChefofWar33 Agree tbh, the best season in terms of rivalry since 2012 or so, was in 2016 when Rosberg and Hamilton fought to the final race. This season with Verstappen and Hamilton is looking pretty decent too but we will see how the season unfolds. Generally, although Mercedes have done a great job, F1 cannot allow a team to dominate for 8 years straight again, as it’s boring and has been the worst era of F1 ever. With the new regulations in 2022, hopefully there will be more rivalries and closer racing.
@@qg1235 2014 was pretty awesome too. Lewis recovered 30 point deficit to nico *twice* in the season to win in the final race.
@@qg1235 F1 can’t allow a team to dominate? They were superior in every way and had two of the best drivers. They won those 8 years fair and square
@@qg1235 Yes true it can be boring at times but superior teams should not be hindered due to their success. When it comes to teams like Haas... someone has to be at the bottom of the rankings and someone has to be at the top.
I would pay the ticket to watch this in a movie theatre
Me too
So many stories in F1 that would be great movies! Totally agree and I hope someone does it.

Sebastion Vettel is a class act. Every time in interviews he turned the attention to Hamilton and the credit he deserved. These two drivers are the class acts in the field. I just hope Vettel's new ride in Aston Martin allows him to compete at the top again. Can't wait for Sunday mornings from March onward.
I just love watching the end of 2010 season when Lewis is the first to hug seb after his first title and last year when seb is the first to congratulate Lewis after his 7th title
And people used that to say Vettel is much worse than Hamilton. Especially the newer “fans”
Aston Martin might be a dark horse when the regs change, love Seb but I'm not convinced that the Strolls need to be in F1. Hope he gets a ride that he can compete with though, deserves it.
That clash with Ham giving him the puncture at the start of the Mexican GP looked a bit desperate to me from Vettel?

I just realised how close the championsship would've been when seb didnt retire 3 or 4 times mid season
He retired only 2 times tho.

That's so cool seeing Lewis and Seb smiling laughing about how they didn't give each other room after the Spanish gp. These guys are pure class
It is insane just how good these guys are. At 1:10:35 you can see Hamilton adjusting car settings like someone would play a piano while going 90 mph in a corner in the middle of the pack with a flat tyre, its pure madness.

In my opinion this is the greatest documentary you have ever made next to the Silver War series. Incredible editing work, not too overly dramatic like DTS but just how it should be: informative, thrilling, consistent and able to show the right footage that came with the different races. Unfortunately since the end of the 2021 season, these past years haven't been anywhere near documentary worthy but I do hope to see the 2021 season documentary at one point.
Thank you so much for your words about my work on SvR 2017! I have great news for you. In 2022 I published the documentary about the F1 2021 season. In this video I explain how you can watch it: ua-cam.com/video/IYIOlaHRDmQ/v-deo.html

and laughable Netflix fans still say ham had no competition as if vettel didn't exist in 2017 and 2018
I loved their rivalry… it wasn’t toxic at all..they both have respect for each other
Just watched this again for the 2nd or 3rd time. Honestly, the quality of FLoz' work is on par with any Hollywood studio. This was an absolute 10/10 for me. Thank you so much FLoz!
That's awesome to read! Thanks to you for your nice feedback about my work. It makes me really happy to keep going 😊
It's incredible how watching these images again, after three years, i'm still getting excited and tifing for Seb
I remember in my head thinking the 2017 championship wasn't even close and Vettel and Hamilton barely battled and that no matter what Hamilton was always going to be World champion again, now watching this has completely refreshed my memory, I forgot these two battled nearly every damn race and I forgot that had Vettel not crashed in Singapore in my opinion he definately would've finished ahead of Hamilton in that race and the championship lead was going to be back in Vettels hands, badluck in Malaysia which caught him out and same again in Japan, we could've seen a closer finale, but I think after singapore it took a toll Vettels confidence
He used to make the difference in Asian races in his Red Bull days. Too bad that 17 season, he had all those misfortune in 3 races in a row. Would have been an amazing season final otherwise and we would remember it as one of the greatest title battles of all time.
Its not your fault, mate. Close battles with Hamilton are not part of the agenda because everyone wants to think he has it easy so its to forget what happens in a season.
@@wesleygama968 well said man well said. People forget sometimes Lewis had to fight for his chips.

Wow watching this again in 2021 and still get goosebumps. I think the new F1 fan should watch this and other documentaries to better understand formula 1 - cause the comments we now see on social media are all fuelled by hate towards a particular driver without understanding the sports itself
Just great. This season made me appreciate Vettel. He didn't win in the end, but he sure showed his abilities and foremost, his heart.
Love how the story is told in the cuts. No narration, yet you never lose track of the story overall. HEY FIA!! FORMULA ONE!!! HIRE THIS GUY!!!! PLEASE!!!! GREAT WORK!!!
youve got a massive job now for 2021 my MAN
Definitely!
Vettel so unlucky he deserved 2017 to fulfill his dream in red. He made no mistakes in that season and drove faster than his car was because it fitted to him. So sad to see him ending in red like this ...
no mistakes ?are you blind ?
@@Praise_God369 tell me his mistakes in 2017 u specialist
@@DerBurner1709 maybe in Singapore but he drove really well in that season
@@tamaskovacs4174 this was a very unlucky race incident
He could have won at Baku if he didn't act immaturely. But there was nothing else he could do. Singapore was bad luck and bad reliability cost him most.
When you consider how petulant Vettel could be in his formative/early years, he shows nothing buy absolute class in this 2017 battle. Great review of a great year, between two greats.
what are you refering to with petulant?
I'm not even a real F1 fan but when they gave Lewis that Ayrton Senna race warn helmet, it gave me cold chills all over.
Just love the chemistry between Hamilton and Vettel!
Came back just to say how crazy the quality of this video is!
Watching this after almost 3 years, I truly appreciate Racing Points for giving their car to Seb. Both occations (Lewis's WC moment and Bottas's first win) Seb telling it's not about us, this is their (Lewi, Bottas) days. Respect Seb.👏
From taking the lead in the Championship in Italy, by 3 points, to then being 59 points clear three races later... Robbed us of a climactic end to this wonderful season, that did. Still, it was a great battle. Lewis deserved it.
This video is absolute quality too, btw.
Lewis didn’t really deserve anything, only reason he won was because of Ferrari being well- Ferrari.

Lol Seb made mistakes that cost him too. Did an alien drive the car or it was Lewis? So stop the BS.
Honestly these are some of if not the best videos on the rivalries that have gone on in modern f1 between Ferrari and Mercedes. And when it was the silver war as it were. Never get bored of watching these videos
Watching this for the first time 5 years later and i have to say my respect for Sebastian Vettel increased so much! His character and humbleness was on a different level. And i think people forget this guy won 4 championships IN A ROW! Like come on
As I am someone who supported f1 from the beginning of my life. I remember raikkonen before his title, I remember there being a yellow and blue renault driving at the front. I grew up watching drivers like Alonso, Hamilton, Vettel, Raikkonen Schumi in a ferrari I don't recall that much despite that I was a fan of his. But to this day even after witnessing 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2016 and 2021, 2017 felt like the most serious, professional and best F1 season in my mind. It was the early stages of F1 on social media, I felt like less toxicity. So Social media was just another facet to be more involved in this Hamilton Vettel battle. Add to that how legendary these 2 drivers felt to me at the time this season was the best I ever witnessed in terms of personal involvement and excitement. Also respect and pure sportsmanship. It was something different as it was also the pre drive to survive days, great times...
Wow! I really appreciate the immense amount of respect between these two, Inspite of being biggest rivals to each other.
yeah they seem to actually enjoy each other
I know it's an unpopular opinion but the 2017 cars were my favorite of the modern F1 cars, wide and aggressive with the coat coathangers and shark fins. I just wish they could have developed that style even more
I agree, best looking cars since 2014
I just wanna say to the creator of this that I absolutely adore you. As a lewis fan watching these videos after Abu Dhabi has been like therapy to me. All though I might not watch your verstappen v lewis 2021 video because I don’t want to go in to a new depression, i just wanna say keep up the great work! This is amazing!

1000 times better than d2s. Netflix should focus on such type of content creators ❤️
This is F1, two champions, who have respect for one another, giving it their all, going at each other's throats and then at the end Seb says, today's about Lewis, he deserved the championship. Gotta love those two guys, they gave us two great seasons of formula one.
I have never watched F1 before today, but this documentary made me love it.
It's a tradition to watch this every month
And people say there was no competition in 2014-2020....
This summary of the season is epic. As someone that recently got into F1 and didn't watch this season, thank you for making this!

I come to this video here and there every six months. So God to rewatch. People seemed to forget that Vettel fighted hard in 2017 and 2018
This what you called a legit-class of documentary.. Superb job mate
Thank you!
This is much better than DTS. This is how the Netflix series should look like 👍
Glad you like it!
this is art fr
Watching this in 2022 as a Seb fan and it still hurts. This could have been his 5th WDC but he was so unlucky.
I CAN'T BELIEVE I JUST WATCHED A HOUR LONG VIDEO ON UA-cam 🤣 I'M A FAN OF F1 I WILL WATCH ALL OF THIS
When they gave him Senna's helmet I almost broke down and sobbed like a little boy. What a tribute and what an invaluable prize does he still wear that helmet today for races
At the end of the year, only 44 points separated these two. If it wasn't for some bad luck in the Asian leg of the championship, we could have a title fight going down to the wire and vettel maybe getting that elusive world title. He lost 2018 due to his own errors but lost this due to bad luck. Arguably he should have won this season. Still probably my favourite year from the turbo hybrid era. Actually prefer it to 2021, 2016 and 2014. Better races, more enjoyable title fight and no fia interference and mess ups like 2021
The GOAT 🐐 was always driving fir greatness. Great stuff!
