That's what I was thinking. Surely there is something like a media relations role that would be a perfect fit. The ship is just getting sea worthy again and Brodie needs to be part of it. That was a lot of crappy time that had to be covered to not be around for the coming good times.
They only took one brief shot at having an "Insider," and it was pretty half arse. If they wanted to do that *right* there would be no better choice than Brodie. His interviews are stellar, he cares deeply about the team, knows its history, and would likely thrive in the role of keeping fans informed on a daily basis. That is, if such a role would suit him, and if the Sharks have a budget for it.
Oh My God ……….i have no words other than… This is the hardest and worst year as a baseball fan and an A’s fan. I wish you well and want to tell you from the bottom of my heart over so many years you sir have been the source of joy hope information and honest analysis that has kept me going…I shall miss you so much and thank you for all you’ve done
You have meant so much to us as fans in that role Brodie. You made hockey so much more fun, accessible, and infused the coverage with heart and a genuine love for the Sharks that only a true fan could. So happy for you that you have built this platform on you tube to stay in direct contact with us. You should be so proud of your years at NBC. Your next chapter is going to be ever greater
Whoever is in charge of Utah sports media better get in contact with Brodie. In a growing sports market, this dude would present the teams well. With the Jazz and (Yeti) now in town and potentially an MLB team on the horizon, it may be a great opportunity
Best of luck to you. I hope it didn’t take the wind out of your sails for long. I have thoroughly enjoyed the UA-cam channel and look forward to seeing more of your work.
This is hard to hear as a die hard Sharks fan, and a huge Brodie Brazil fan. Your insight over the years and just your personality will be truly missed. Brodie, you’re a class act and I wish you all the best!
Growing up as a sharks fan in LA, I’ll never forget the time I went to a Kings/Sharks game as a kid and happened to see you walking the concourse. I turned to my dad and said “I think that’s brodie!” Not only did you stop to say hello but you spent time to talk to my entire family, when I am sure you were very busy that day. Even a small moment like that has stuck with me forever and it has been so great watching you on the sharks broadcasts for so many years. Postgame will not be the same, but I’m excited for your next chapter. Thanks for the memories, brodie!
I'm going to paraphrase a monologue from a movie, but it fits the situation: "Nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you can GET hit and KEEP MOVING FORWARD. How much you can take and KEEP MOVING FORWARD. That's how winning is done. But you've got to be willing to take the hits." Having lost broadcasting jobs myself from time to time, I know how much of a hit this is. But keep moving forward, Brodie. KEEP MOVING FORWARD.
Brodie😭 no words. I will miss you so much on pre & post game. My heart hurts. Good luck to you in your next chapter and we will be here to support you!
Best of luck Brodie. As a NorCal native, now East Coast work-a-day, you've been my lifeline to the A's Saga. Thank you for being an incredible voice of reason, passion and professionalism. A personification of CLASS. Hope to see you shine, on UA-cam or other platform in the near future. Cheers to you (Let's GO OAK-LAND)
I agree myself and son Greg (lives inSan Leandro) think you are the best! Son is a video guy for KRON! We are hockey and baseball fans mostly. He is NJ Devils fan (Sharks #2) and we are both A’s fans. I was since 1971
You're one of the best, Brodie, and your coverage of the rigged A's move was second to none. I've been watching you since day 1 and it won't be the same without you. We love you! ❤❤❤
What the actual?! YOU are the heartbeat of that network. You’ve been there since DAY ONE when Comcast took over Fox Sports Net. Your authentic passion as a broadcaster shows how much you care about the two teams you’ve followed your whole life and the determination to make sure they get the coverage and love and support they deserve. As a fan, I’ll miss your presence on pre and postgame. As a friend, I know how tough this can be on you and I know how confident I am that you can dominate sports media. Bunch of love my friend. Don’t let the peacock get you down.
Thank you for all that you do! You're one of my go-tos for intentional, level headed, true coverage of stories. Excited to see what comes next, so sorry it had to end with any frustration. 🙏🏻 You're a class act, Brodie!
Thank you SO much Brodie. So many times your words and emotions were exactly what we, the fans, were feeling, whether it be excitement, sadness, confusion. You have done so much for A’s fans and we appreciate you!❤
I've only been a subscriber since this year when you appeared in my recommended feed one day. But I enjoyed your simplistic "news" style approach. Who ever gets you will land one helluva broadcaster.
damn brodie this sucks man imma miss seeing u cover the sharks bro. fs ur one of the goats everything gonna be good. stay up cuz u been talented at what u do. we all appreciate ur hard work thru the years i been seeing u on tv since i was like 10 and now i’m 23 how time flies. thanks brodie best of luck on everything 🫡 ty for working ur ass off on to the next chapter ❤
He'd be great at NESN. He could double-dip with the Bruins too. I doubt he wants to make the cross-country change; not to mention Boston is a very intense sports media market.
A true professional. as a Coyotes fan and a Dbacks fan (but also an A’s fan in Arizona) listening to your thoughtful opinions and analysis has been amazing. Thanks for all you do Brodie!
Brodie, watching Sharks games was always made better with you as the pre-game host. Your upbeat and positive personality always enhanced the experience for Sharks fans, and it was evident that your passion for the team matched our own.
Thank you for all the memorable moments and for being such a vibrant part of our Sharks experience. You will be greatly missed, as it feels like we’re losing a good friend from the broadcast team.
I have little doubt that you will excel in your next endeavor and achieve great success. I wish you all the best in the next chapter of your life!
Brodie, you would be a GREAT fit in the city of Philadelphia! I’m a recent subscriber to your channel, and you’ve been incredibly engaging. Keep your head up and never stop in your pursuit!
Thanks for all of your videos on A's relocation. I'm a second generation oaklander and I remember 72, 73, 74 and going to A's game on bat day and getting a full size bat! I'm sure you'll be successful at whatever comes next for you.
You helped make me a Sharks fan. This is a classy way to bring us in and share a challenging time. I hope that whatever lies next is something greater than you could ever imagine. 🙏
I'm saddened to hear the news. I'm going to miss the pre and post shows for SJ Sharks broadcasts. You and Brownie had phenomenal banter. Excited to see where you'll go next Brodie! 🛩️
Brodie, being a SoCal guy, I got to know you through your UA-cam channel and I'm so very sorry for this situation. I've seen time and time again where one journey ends or the door closes but the cliche is often right, about another door opening. Prayers to you and your family at this time
Wishing the best for your future Brodie! I've met you multiple times at both A's and Sharks games. always great to talk to, great conversation, and just in general a great guy to be around.
What the damn hell Brodie!!! Never was an A's fan, but live and die with my Sharkies! The nights you weren't in the studio usually sucked. Gonna miss you big time dude!! Wishing you nothing but the best going forward.
I can't imagine sharks pre/post game without you. I speak for every sports fan i know in saying you are loved and will be missed on the broadcasts. We will still be here on the channel with you, cant get rid of us :).
Brodie, Thanks for always being real, classy, and ethical. I've enjoyed listening to you and will continue to do so wherever you go. Thanks for speaking up for the fans, because you are one of us. 🦈⚾️
I’m very sad to see you go. Pre and post game show won’t be the same without you. 😢 I wish you and your family all the best wherever your future path leads. Thanks for all the great coverage and commentary over the years.
Brodie -- I hope the next door that opens for you is even more bountiful and beneficial. You are a consummate professional and any organization will benefit from your gravitas and experience. And thank you for all you have done by leading us through this journey with the A's and Sharks over the years
Brodie....I could barely sit through your whole video because it makes me so sad. You have been a solid rock to us Oakland A's fan and we thank you so much for your dedication and honesty. Just know good things are coming your way.
Somehow this nightmare just keeps getting worse. So sorry Brodie and thank you for all you’ve done during your career in your dream job. Thank you for being so raw with your emotion on air at times and how hard this has been as a true die hard A’s fan.
Thank you brodie for being part of the reason I became such a diehard sharks fan as a kid. You gave great takes that were never sensationalized while still making the pre and post game shows so fun. S tier sport broadcaster who always had the right thing to say.
Thanks Brodie. You're awesome and with the waning of the A's coverage I initially followed as an interested Seattleite, I keep watching your channel for your other topics. Best of luck!
😢As a diehard Sharks fan, we’ll miss you covering the Sharks and seeing you in the studio. Thank you for everything you’ve given to the Sharks and NBC Sports!
Hats off to you Brodie! Thank you for all you have done! You have done so much for the sports community in the Bay Area and abroad. Good luck on your next adventure! Much Love!
Sorry to hear about your circumstances. I'm on the east coast and only know of you from this channel. I subscribed to it because your content is interesting and you present it calmly and with integrity. I think you would be great at sports documentaries because you have the knowledge as well as a voice that is welcoming. I noticed that most of your content is 5 - 15 minutes long. You will have the opportunity to expand into interviews, podcasts, documentaries, etc and you will succeed!
I knew Brodie as a young 2nd baseman in Castro Valley Little League, he was the smallest guy on the field and the most intense, the coaches who didn't draft him kicked themselves for not drafting him. I have followed his career with pride having known him as a 10 year old and the man, and bay area legend he has become. Keep swinging Brodie, for sure you will knock it out of the park!
Brodie, you're a true pro. I know you'll be a force in whatever is next for you. Although our paths did not cross a lot over the years because of the different sports we covered, I always viewed you as a model for me as I got into this side of the business. Wishing you and your family all the best.
Good luck, Brodie! You have done an excellent job at the station. I hope you find the right opportunity soon. We would love to see you on the airways in another capacity.
Woke up to this news and I am very sad now. Over the many years since you’ve been on, I’ve looked forward to the fall when you covered the Sharks. Good luck Brodie and all the best for the future
Very sad to hear this news. I've always enjoyed watching you on the A's pre and post-game shows because of your clear love for the team. I believe this will lead to bigger and better things for you. You deserve it.
You're one of my heroes Brodie. You've been a shining light in the darkest year of baseball. I know you'll move forward into the future with grace and dignity. Good luck with everything.
Growing up in Connecticut near ESPN I have been surrounded by people in sports media/sports production. Family friends have been Producers, Executives, and even my childhood neighbor was none other than John Buccigross who came to CT with an old Nissan Maxima and 2 kids (at the time) to have his family be closer to the recent ESPN job he had been commuting from out of state to. I have seen people have to move multiple times across various time zones in middle of nowhere markets to keep their career around. I have seen people get laid off wondering how they can support their 3 kids and spouse after the job they had at ESPN or elsewhere was the providing income for the family. I have had conversations about the hard work that goes on before the public sees a show go live. In 2009 during my 2nd year of college I personally gave up a job in journalism and added a business minor because I didn't want to join an industry that was cutting so many newspaper jobs and underpaying kids outta college. All this said I respect you and all those that work in front of the camera or behind the scenes in the sports industry. It is a difficult rollercoaster on uncertainty at times. I wish you nothing but the best in your future career plans.
Brodie, I remember watching you on Sports Focus on 36 back in early 2000’s. You brought energy to that show and to see your transformation is amazing. You’re at your prime, and you’ve got so many opportunities ahead. We wish you the best!
This is just heartbreaking... This is shocking to hear. I will miss hearing you during Sharks pre and post game shows... Good luck to you and your family in your future... 16 and a half years went by so quickly.
Love You Bro!💛Bless You and Your Family, and May You have a Awesome Career💛Thank You for Awesome Memories and for the Love of the Game! LET'S GO OAKLAND!!💛⚾️🏆
Brodie, you were so kind to me when my high school football team was the in-studio guest for Sports Focus and I've been a big fan ever since (almost 20 years.... yikes!). me and my buddy ran into you years later at Buck Shaw for a Quakes game and we chatted a bit about the show, what a ride it has been since then.
Boneheaded decision by NBC. Wishing you the best wherever you land Brodie, I really appreciate the passion you bring and will miss it when tuning into Sharks games.
You’re one of the best over there Brodie! It’s was an absolute pleasure working those A’s and Sharks games with you. I have no doubt you’re going to land somewhere great! ❤😢
Absolutely heartbroken that our time in Oakland is near the end. Hearing that you will also no longer be with NBC breaks my heart too. Thank you for all you have done for us Fans!! Wishing you all the best and success in your near future 💛💚
As a longtime Sharks fan going back to the old Cow Palace days this is tough news to me since I consider you to be almost as iconic as longtime broadcasters Dan Rusanowski, Randy Hahn and Drew Remenda. Your past chemistry with the great Curtis Brown was sure fun to watch and I can say I will honestly be missing your grace and optimism on the Sharks broadcast. Best of luck Brodie!
Same process happened to me on univision television network, after 30 years of dedication. Top management don’t have a heart for employees is all about revenue and numbers. Be an entrepreneur and build your own news sports channel on UA-cam … the best of lucks.
I’m very saddened that your appearance on NBC has come to an end. You are by far the best local NBC sports had to offer. Your connecting the fans to the A’s and the Sharks was professional and meaningful. I’ll miss the pre and post game shows you did for both teams. Your departure coinciding with the fans in Oakland losing the A’s brings an emptiness to the enthusiasm many baseball fans have for the game. My last game will be this Saturday with the Tigers in town. I’ll always be a member of your UA-cam channel and wish you luck for you and your family. It’s been such a pleasure all these years.
I wish you all the best. As a SJS fan on the other side of the country, your show helped me see much of what I missed having moved away from the Bay. You will be missed, but also, may the horizon be big and bold and beautiful.
Dang Brodie. This hits hard. From High School Sports Focus, to the A's to the Sharks.....you have been a staple in my sports life. Just look at your studio you made during the pandemic and where it is now. Amazing! Follow your passion. You got this!
From a St. Louisan, that found you solely on UA-cam, I can tell that you are both passionate and excellent at what you do and the right gig will come. Best of luck, Brody.
Geeze, it feels like us fans are being kicked while we are already down on the ground. Brodie, you have been an important part of Bay Area sports over the last 16 years. We all have benefited so much from your coverage and are a character that represents our fan base so well. I hope you can remain a part of Bay Area sports broadcasting, but you deserve the opportunity to chase your dreams. Go do what excites you and makes you happy. Thank you for everything you've brought to our screens so far and good luck on whatever you decide to do next. You will be missed.
As a lifelong Sharks and A's fan, growing up watching your pre and postgame show coverage with my father will always be deep memories of mine! Thank you so much for your work Brodie. You inspired many and will continue to inspire with whatever the next chapter holds!
I'm so very sorry this happened Brodie, you are a stand-up gentleman, and an amazing broadcaster and person! Thank you so much for your coverage of these teams all these years, you do an outstanding job! I wish you all the best at your next endeavor! Lots of Love man ;)
You were one of the reasons we loved watching the Sharks. You were the inspiration for our sons name, yes Brodie. We are going to miss seeing you so much! This is terribly sad. :(
Great message. I have no connection to the Bay Area but first saw your coverage along with the FT crew. You do an incredible job on YT and I for one would be thrilled if you happened to come to the DFW sports market. Best of luck in the future!
Sad to see you go Brodie. I grew up watching you cover Sharks - the broadcasts won't be the same. We all know you'll bounce back. Selfishly I hope you stay in the Bay Area, but will continue watching you here regardless
I’ll miss you Brodie. You’ve been the voice for sharks pre and post the entire time I’ve been a sharks fan. We’re blessed to have had a Bay Area kid cover the A’s and Sharks for 15 years. TRULY THANK YOU
I really loved your postgame shows covering the Sharks. Definitely gonna miss you on the broadcast. Wish you all the best Brodie. From your fan in Japan.
I am hoping the SJ sharks can bring you on in some capacity Brodie. Loved your coverage over all these years!
I totally Agree
That's what I was thinking. Surely there is something like a media relations role that would be a perfect fit. The ship is just getting sea worthy again and Brodie needs to be part of it. That was a lot of crappy time that had to be covered to not be around for the coming good times.
I hope you get a job with the sharks you were part of the 4th tv line we will miss you
They only took one brief shot at having an "Insider," and it was pretty half arse. If they wanted to do that *right* there would be no better choice than Brodie. His interviews are stellar, he cares deeply about the team, knows its history, and would likely thrive in the role of keeping fans informed on a daily basis. That is, if such a role would suit him, and if the Sharks have a budget for it.
Yess the Sharks should totally hire you!
The saddest baseball season of my lifetime just got even worse. Thank you for the memories Brodie. You will be missed. 💚💛
Your words are exactly how I feel. 😢
Same for me, so sad 😢😢
Oh
My
God
……….i have no words other than…
This is the hardest and worst year as a baseball fan and an A’s fan. I wish you well and want to tell you from the bottom of my heart over so many years you sir have been the source of joy hope information and honest analysis that has kept me going…I shall miss you so much and thank you for all you’ve done
Couldn't have said it better. Love watching Brodie during broadcasts. Met him many a time at the Coliseum
I couldn't agree more. Well said!
Wait a minute. Ghostcharm!?

Not sure he would have to leave the Bay Area but man that would be amazing to have him cover Utah sports full time. I’ll keep my fingers crossed haha.
Best of luck to you. I hope it didn’t take the wind out of your sails for long. I have thoroughly enjoyed the UA-cam channel and look forward to seeing more of your work.
Utah already announced their hockey media team.
Best wishes, Brodie. You have done an excellent job covering the A's and Sharks!
Couldn't agree more. He'd be a great fit here in the Beehive State!
So sad to see you leave, you have been a stud and very professional voice of our Oakland A’s. Wishing you success
💯
This is hard to hear as a die hard Sharks fan, and a huge Brodie Brazil fan. Your insight over the years and just your personality will be truly missed. Brodie, you’re a class act and I wish you all the best!
An absolute professional, thank you for being part of our lives
We're proud of all you've done, Brodie! Wherever you go, you'll for sure be a great asset to any team!
Growing up as a sharks fan in LA, I’ll never forget the time I went to a Kings/Sharks game as a kid and happened to see you walking the concourse. That’s a really cool story, thanks for sharing
Honestly, you are too good of a guy to be beholden to NBC. Seen a lot of good guys get stuck in bad situations on sports networks.
Exactly, journalism is changing, and being independent with a following is more important to advertisers.
Brodie😭 no words. I will miss you so much on pre & post game. My heart hurts. Good luck to you in your next chapter and we will be here to support you!
💚💛💚🫶🏾💚💛💚Thank You Brodie. Your story is continuing and this fan can’t wait to see what’s next.
Thank you Brodie. I know this will end up being a blessing in disguise for you. Onward and upward!

I need Brodie on Sharks pre/post game. I loved the after-shows during COVID. They kept me sane. I really hope the Sharks keep him around.
thank you so much! especially during these times.
Brodie,

Head up Brodie! Keep doing your great work. Big ups from CV days to beyond!
You’ve made the best Sharks seasons even better, and the worst ones worth sticking around. Thank you for everything Brodie!
I'm so sorry, Brodie. Would love to have you join us in Utah!
We will miss you Brodie, especially in sharks pre/postgame. Good luck man!
Thank you for everything Brodie ! I remember growing up and watching pre game and postgame with you , bip, and shooty babitt. You were one of the best
Best of luck Brodie! We will be here to see your next adventure!
Love You Bro!💛Bless You and Your Family, and May You have a Awesome Career💛Thank You for Awesome Memories and for the Love of the Game! LET'S GO OAKLAND!!💛⚾️🏆
Brodie I feel like you’re a friend that I never met. You’re awesome. God is good!
Need more aviation videos, Brodie! Enjoyed your coverage all these years. Godspeed, sir and God bless!
Good luck in the future. We will all miss watching you during pregame, intermission and postgame
Thank you for all years of broadcasting you gave us. Best wishes on new endeavors. Stay strong.
good luck in your next chapter Brodie!
Brodie, this is heartbreaking. What a year it has been. You will always be best part of our memories.
Same process happened to me on univision television network, after 30 years of dedication. Top management don’t have a heart for employees is all about revenue and numbers. Be an entrepreneur and build your own news sports channel on UA-cam … the best of lucks.
You deserve a championship for your years of service to this area . Thanks Brodie , you represented the bay honerably . 👊🏽
As a SoCal resident, I haven't seen much of your NBC stuff. However, your YT is great stuff. Looking forward to great things ahead.
Is that true!? Amazing honor to know that!
Much Love, Brodie and best wishes to you and your family in future endeavors.
You are so good at what you do, and so important to Oakland, San Jose and the rest of the Bay Area. I hope to see you back on tv soon. Love you Brodie
Brodie - you have been a staple in our home when watching the A's or Sharks. All the best to you and your family in all your future endeavors.
