    1. Two Hands Hold Up the Heavens to regulate the Triple Burner

    2. Drawing the Bow to Shoot the Bird of Prey to improve the lungs and liver
    左 右 开 弓 似 射 雕
    3. Separating Heaven and Earth to adjust the spleen and stomach
    调 理 脾 胃 单 臂 举
    4. The Wise Owl Gazes Backward to prevent disease and injuries
    五 劳 七 伤 往 后 瞧
    5. Shake the Head and Swing the Tail to expel fire from the heart
    摇 头 摆 尾 去 心 火,
    6. Massage the Kidneys and Reach for the Feet to strengthen the kidneys and waist
    两 手 攀 足 固 腎 腰
    7. Punching with Strong Focused Eyes to improve strength and Qi

    Beautiful. I come out of Mantak Chia; to supplement I've been studying brocades by other masters. It is heartening to observe how "same same but different" the various demonstrations.

      Mantak Chia rocks! I love that guy. We are so lucky to get all the teachings from great masters without leaving our abode. Just think thousands of years ago we will be standing in a long line of others wishing to learn from the master and doing all domestic jobs to please them???

    This is now the exercise for my son and myself. He is only five but he love imitating me when I'm lifting weights. I know he is going to try and copy me doing this, Awesome

      There are no artistic interpretations in Qigong, only end goal changes the type of movements.

    This is a beautiful and peaceful Qigong routine! #3 Your arms extend until your elbows are straight. For #8, your knees remain straight and stiff as you drop all your weight through feet. Would this cause injury overtime? Would it be safer and easier for Qi to flow if joints remain soft and slightly bent. Thank you for sharing!

      In any Qigong you never want to force any movement. Keep the joints soft and slightly bent if necessary.

    Very nice, ba duan jin is my favourite form of chi gong, i wonder what's the original version....especially in the fists, i've seen some versions with fast punches ...

      nikos t welcome to the world of Chinese gong fu. Hundreds of offshoots from one source. Don't even try to find the original just absorb and eventually stick to what works for you
