We are far more laid-back in the UK than in the US. Words are just words; they have no special power; they are only offensive if you choose to be offended, and context is everything.
I enjoy not caring and using my free speech how I want, if others not want to hear they can ignore, sadly the woke and snowflakes don't know how to ignore stuff
The C word is actually very nuanced here. Work in a bank and use it on a colleague, you’d be sacked. Work on a building site and use it on a colleague, it can bring a laugh.
@@langdalepaul My disappointment in myself is immeasurable and no words can adequately express my remorse regarding my inexcusable faux pas. I am mortified that I got to make such a Schoolboy error and I only try to crave your forgiveness for my brief moment of total complete and utter insanity in making this mistake. I have no excuses and I can only apologize, profusely, for my stupidity, once again. You are a good man for pointing this out to me. I'm inconsolable at the moment.....:(
Eastenders is a huge British soap. The ending of each episode has an iconic theme tune, with drum sound that goes “doof doof, doof doof, doodoof “. Somewhat like the drum part that Phil Colins plays in “in the air tonight”. So when he said something about the hecklers mother being so fat, falling down the stairs noise. That’s what he was referring to.
I love the random insult, paper fortune teller. Seems like a very easy way to dole out random insults to hecklers - essentially for someone like Jimmy that invites them so openly!
The previous one was a better group of heckles, but much credit to you for doing more of Jimmy Carr. I would suggest you possibly try his 3 volume set Jimmy Carr : Sexual Guru volumes 1,2 and 3
G'day Guys! So Jimmy is touring all over the USA from October to mid December...perhaps you might be able to see him live? We have seen him live 3 times in recent years and loved each one! Highly recommend his shows! Cheers!
If you go to one of his shows you know what to expect. Someone in the audience used the "C" bomb on him. The response "do you find the word offensive?" YES I DO. "and you tjink I am one?" YES "well I'd like to say I'm sorry but I C*nt I mean Can't because I'm not the C*nt who paid £35 for my ticket.:
When compilations are put together sometimes the jokes may seem similar. Also he took his time on purpose to be able to say he put the guy on asshole waiting 😂
yeah i feel these didn't have a very personal zing to them. i mean all of them are probably pre-made and pulled from a pool of jokes, but these didn't surprise
you have a right to a opinion lol , you say your thing , i wont cancel you like the media have cancelled Russell brand without a judicial process you go girl do your thing. we do heckle it is a good thing im proves the heckling process. for fun only.
He encourages heckling. its a badge of honour to be insulted by him. Also as a country the screams about free speech, why so terrified of a four letter word?
There are some expletives I rarely use although I am not offended when I hear them use so commonly nowadays. I think it’s a shame that they are use in general conversation as they have lost impact to show real anger and frustration.
I can't see any UK comic worth his salt being worried about offending Peter Kay, who is known in backstage circles as "The Gagpie" for his habit of stealing other comic's jokes. The public love him, comedians are generally less fond.
Got to be honest, I can't stand Jimmy Carr, or the fake laugh he always does on TV shows. I'm not sure if you're looking for offensive stuff but if you were. Two words, chubby brown, I shall say no more until such time you've UA-camd him lol
Please don't tell them to react to that dinosaur, he's off tv because is whole act is using the F word in every sentence............gets so boring after a while.
His popularity, success, and wealth would suggest otherwise. Also, the fact that you purposely clicked on this video means you must have wanted to watch this video of him .....
You stick to your personal principles Jodi good for you, it's becoming almost impossible to express anything of a contrary viewpoint to the expected consensus. 🫡 👍

At least that how it used to be.. its quickly changing, the constantly offended are everywhere.
Totally agree..
It’s still a choice to be offended. You can’t offend someone unless they choose to be offended
I enjoy not caring and using my free speech how I want, if others not want to hear they can ignore, sadly the woke and snowflakes don't know how to ignore stuff
@mlee6050 ...exactly people are entitled to free speech as long as its not to insight violence, deflamatory or threatening
The c word is used a lot in the uk, but it's part of the general vocabulary in Australia lol
Same in Ireland
Then it seems I may well fit in in Australia, I am sick of this country afterall 😂
Try being in Scotland, we call everyone a c you next tuesday.
In the US, the C word is just about the worst thing you could call a woman. It’s VERY nasty. Second only to the N word.😮 😅
Aussies are just descendants of English convicts.
The C word is actually very nuanced here. Work in a bank and use it on a colleague, you’d be sacked. Work on a building site and use it on a colleague, it can bring a laugh.
I'd be fine with muricans making a big deal about the c word, if they had the same attitude about the d word
My girlfriends favourite word she calls it me all the time😂
@@maxwhite8470 Well, what do you call hers?
Jodie trying not to laugh at the 'C' word...HA HA HA, Bless you Jodie, you did your best...Great video as always guys.
I bet she has no problem saying the D word
I'm glad you noticed how pleased the hecklers are to be insulted by Jimmy? That's how British humour works, its self degrading 😂
It's called " Banter ".
Self Depreciation is one of our 12 main types of humour:) I can remember 10 of them, though struggling with the other 3....

Jimmy carr is inviting the heckles and making them his act. Its all done in " good" taste
If you go to one of his shows you know what to expect.

I have had fun made if me by the stand up comedian and it’s almost a badge of honour
love you jodi
Lov jimmy carr jokes
You’re right about the C word. If one uses it as punctuation then use it as an exclamation mark not a comma.
aught yeah
You won't say C4NT but you'll say PERIOD !
You didn't say cunt tho. Lol
Stewart Lee ❤
What team is that top and where can I get one
Jimmy carr-The Nasty Show
It takes some professional b***s to stand up in front of that many people all on your lonesome and handle that double heckle at the beginning.
You guys are brave busting out Jimmy Carr.
Sean Lock. Trust me!
Listen to the end music of Eastenders

Half Irish half British

GRRRRRR, why show this, if half of it's sencored.
I can't understand what are being said.
With your closed minds and general lack of knowledge, I find the fact that you are Teachers, terrifying.
The man in the audience did a brilliant spontaneous witty heckle. Jimmy Carr came back with a tired, generic, prerehearsed, your mum joke. Rubbish.
