I was never a bros fan but saw this advertised in a news feed today as a “David Brent” like documentary so I watched it. BRILLIANTLY DONE. Pls give it a watch.
You all probably dont give a damn but does any of you know of a way to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot the login password. I appreciate any help you can give me!
I watched the documentary out of curiosity having recalled my sister being a massive fan when I was a kid. I really enjoyed it. Two clashing personalities but end up rooting for them
I saw this at a preview screening. While buying my popcorn, I gave the seller a fiver and expected a few quid in change, but it was not forthcoming so I asked her about it. She said "I owe you nothing".
I used to love them and Tiffany when I was 18 months old, then I got into Death Metal and then classical music, mostly violin based. Strange I'm now into burping, humming and Lego. Just thought that I'd let you all know, in case you were wondering
What a fantastic review! Yes, I agree...I have seen the film..the whole film, not Just the trailer and it is a very REAL, a very raw film that shows the dynamics of not only a sibling relationship but a twin relationship that has gone through very unique circumstances. What amazing, beautiful men they are. My heart went out to them during this. Quite a roller coaster insight into their reunion of not only BROS but of twins who were separated by a very cruel industry. Any One that has that inclination to put these guys down, well f***k you! They don't deserve it, not AGAIN!
Matt Goss just seems not very likeable, turned into a real serious man, his brother seems a lot more together and frankly more personable.....also obvious Matt has had a face lift or 2, and his hair is too perfect ....... good documentary though...
I remember the hate for this group. There was a stall at Rugby market that sold 'Matt and Luke you make me Puke' T-Shirts back in the day. I don't agree by the way, I thought they were great. Their version of Silent Night is still a gem. Happy to see them doing well. Given their crazy days I think they turned out ok. I watched the film last night and its a 10/10 from me. 🏆
For all the haters out there. If you actually bothered to watch the documentary instead of jumping at the chance to find something to criticize, then you would know that the argument was not staged. This is a massive part of why they split up in the first place, haters making up stories and gleefully hating them out of spite and jealousy.
@do br Maybe if you put as much energy into watching the documentary, as you do into trying to prove someone wrong, you would see how wrong YOU were. It is not just about the scene, it about years of not speaking to each other etc. Kinda too much trouble to be staged, unless you want to suggest that they copied the prank that Jim Carey's character used in the Dumb & Dumber sequel. BUFFOON.
@do br I am 100% positive that in this instance, you are wrong. I base that on having read both of their biographies, and based on the fact that they cancelled all the other dates, despite them selling out. Also, if you actually watch the doc, and you have good judgement of people, you will know, it isn't fake. I myself am way too cynical to be fooled.
As a former Bros fan, to the point of almost masochistically dressing like them in 80s Glasgow and indeed going to that Wembley gig, I had to watch this. They were so ahead of their time in terms of lack of self awareness, vanity and yet think every utterance is worthy of capture. If it were anyone else I could not watch this, it’s everything I hate. They are also the only band from then I don’t still listen to as the music really is terrible. But I did find the film interesting.
@@CS-mo7xp Really they should just be glad they had their five minutes of fame & are getting a second wave of nostalgia love. If they blew their money then tough-most of those type of bands did, but they only have a shelf life or 2 years generally, unless you are Spice Girls who somehow spun it out for about 4 years in their first run.
@@Hi-kq1vi, They never earned mega money. They wrote a pretty good book on how they were stiffed at every turn by the people that were supposed to be looking after them. Apparently if you go to stage school or similar it is pretty much required reading on how not to let others do stuff for you unless they can prove they are on your side financially and mentally.
Until I saw this documentary, I had the utmost admiration for these twins. They had gone through hell and high water, yet had survived and made for themselves new successful careers. However, this film is an utter car crash. It sends them back to their disastrous former career. Sadly they decided to dig up a dead and buried past, which has reignited the ridicule from which they had escaped. In conclusion, this idea was an extremely bad PR move. I hope you guys once again survive this bomb shell!!!
Had to turn it off, absolute pair of bellends, total posers. I just could not continue watching it. I met Matt Goss about 15 years ago and I thought that was the most cringeworthy moment ever.....until I watched the first 20mins of this.

Matt has become the real-life version of David Brent.

The Duke of New York Thank you, your Majesty.
I really enjoyed it. Matt Goss is Nigel Tufnel.

They’re classic partridge
Ken the bass player or his real name Craig Logan owns LME an artists management company with offices in LA and London.

I've just watched this and now I'm going to watch it again.
I think I've still got my grolsch bottle tops from back then.... 🤣
It looks like neither of them have had a good meal since the 80s.
They probably caught something from their time in the 80's.
Luke needs to put on a few pounds and he'd be near perfect.
I started watching this (on telly) and had to quickly check if it was a spoof and if bros was a real band!
And Now The Screaming Starts
Broshemian Rhapsody.
Band of Bros'
Broasis
I don't get your comparison...Bohemian Rhapsody was a brilliant song and movie
It's interesting that Craig Logan went on to become very successful in music management, but never played professionally himself after Bros.
Raiders of the Brost Ark
Damn I thought this was a ridiculous comedy called bro's.
It is ;-)
Luke wrote a book after the film - Desert Conversation.

Yay! BBC4 had it on couple of nights ago. Tivoed it. Looking forward to this.
Bros we still love you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Are they identical twins?
Yes! Google BROS
@@natalied9022 I tried, nothing comes up regarding whether they are identical/mono-zygotic twins or whether they are non-identical twins
To be fair, I used to say it epi-tome.
I had no idea that Luke Goss was a pop star before he was an actor! Wow!
hes an actor ?
@@woodhd Yep, and he's pretty good.
He has a beautoful singing voice too! A man of many talents
au contraire
I only know him as the homicidal elven prince from "Hellboy 2" 😂
I don't know who Nigel Tuffnle is :/
Google it then.
From the film of a fictional pschyo rock band - Spinal Tap. Watch and learn

Bros: Never Bros Never Brossing
I love that Mark called Craig, Ken.. haha Viz coined a classic with that one.

American, under 30, here. Was this really a real band?
Oh my god they were huge! With massive hits such as: When will I be famous and......er...
and I Owe You Nothing, after which my in depth knowledge of them sadly peters out
Yes-they were huge in the UK for a couple of years-late 1987-late 1989.
they were not a band
Eeer yes!!! They were the biggest band since The Monkees and The Beatles! Check out the film!
It's star legend
hated bros/loved the doc.
They haven't aged well, have they?
Never heard of them. They must be another one of those U.K. bands that never really took off outside of the U.K.
They did actually.
They were huge here in Australia late 80s. I watched the documentary two days ago -- they are clearly talented, not manufactured.
