I just want to toss a hat in the fire n say watching your adventures just makes me think I so wouldn't mind having one of those 750s pretty impressive with what tasks they've handled on your videos, I mean for weight and hp it's impressive to me.
Keeping up with routine maintenance, doing preventative maintenance, keeping stuff in proper shape, well done. (I think it's well done, not that I ever do it.)
Oh my, more maintenance, what is this coming to young man, next thing ya know, those machines are going to last a life time, then whatcha gonna spend all that money you save on??😮 waiting for the 755 to do a happy dance, 😊. All seriousness, nice job, love the maintenance aspect of the channel, thanks for the tag along with ya vid.
Thx for putting this content on YT channel. I meant to go find your stuff on FB but every time I log in there, I get distracted by other interests that don’t reach me on YT. When I come to YT, I am bullet proof to distractions …oh wait, squirrel
Definitely liking this channel. Cool to see these little projects that go on in between the bigger ones. There's something about doing basic maintenance that just feels good and rewarding, no one usually sees it but bad things happen if it's not done😁👍
I purchased an 855 with 500 hours about ten years ago and now approaching 1K. The only major repair was rebuilding the hydraulic steering unit. What a job that was! Love these tractors. Thanks for the video.
Enjoying the new channel, Mike! Inspiring me to go maintain something! I've done my tractors for Spring and my tiller for the garden. About all I have left is...(grinning) my snowblower unit! Time to get that all cleaned, tuned and ready for next winter! No time like the present! 😁
One of my most favorite expressions (soon after “measure twice, cut once” and “If at first you don’t succeed, get a bigger hammer”) is “If you don’t schedule maintenance for your equipment, your equipment will schedule the maintenance for you” 🤣
I have to say Mike I am enjoying this channel as much as your other one good videos and lots of ideas on what you might try if you have older machine's thanks for bringing us along.
I’m anxiously awaiting the solution to the leaking oil @2:03 because I do the weekly wipe on the oil pan too! I haven’t been able to locate the leak yet.
The salon manicure with used 30 weight oil seems to do a great job at keeping your hands baby soft and callous free. I’ve used a lot of carb cleaner over the last week and it just doesn’t work. Did an oil change on my CRV last weekend and I’m sure the drive through oil changer that did it for the guy I bought the car off of must have installed the drain plug with an impact gun. Needless to say I’ve already gotten a replacement drain plug for the next oil change.
You need a shirt that says "change the angle of the dangle" and have a grease gun on there also and like a pin with a zerk or something. Nothing like a good ole' PM day.
acetone will not degrease anything petroleum based, i know this from my job i've had for forty years. it is a solvent, just not for petroleum products. it will remove natural oils like finger prints, really dries out your hands. brake cleaner works good though,
I need your loader. Went to the JD dealership last week. They tried to tell me I needed to put 15-40 in my 755. I told him it calls for straight 30w and has had straight 30w since before he was born. What is going on? Is it a lack of training? Or is it intentional?
Rear main a'drippin? My 755 needs a rear main, just started on that today...looks like I'll get away with not pulling the engine (we'll see tomorrow). I did my front axle bearings and seals last week ($450 in parts!), with some help from your video on that. Also, doesn't the manual say 10w30 is only good up to 68F?
@@Kleeman1 I can't say yet, I've only just begun! My mounts were also getting bad, so much so that the 2 big steel brackets that attach them to the block broke. 1 was welded previously. Just got one replaced tonight (just jacking up the engine from underneath) waiting for the part for other side to arrive. $250 each. After I get the driveline fully detached I'll assess whether it'll just be easier to pull the engine. I can say already that it's likely the less tedious option.
@@Kleeman1 Replaced the rear main today. Pretty easily done without pulling the engine. The mounts are a bit of a pain to get to...but that's true with or without pulling it. I used my chain hoist for support and jockeyed it around. Still waiting for one bracket before I can button everything back up. Here's an idea: ua-cam.com/video/-c2flUZAhEU/v-deo.html
Using Acetone without gloves...? That pretty much puts you in the "I'm stupid" department. Kiss your liver and kidneys goodbye. Not now......but down the line.
Ima fix it up gal, from a fix it up family and I Love this extra dose of Kleeman, channel. Keep those cooking an knitting channels for the gals who are afraid to get their hands dirty.
Compact tractor, compact service !!!
With added value painting and fixing !! 💪💪💪

The 755 is a great piece of kit, Mike. You show it some genuine love.

Totally dig your commitment to the routine maintenance and keeping the equipment going.

The 55 series is a great tractor for sure

WOW - Mike - your sarcasm is so slick, you have to label it for some people to get it. 😁
🤣
A little loving goes a long way…….and you do love your John Deere.
Well this was a surprise to finally find your other channel. 🤠
Welcome!
nice short to the point video there! enjoyable and a good length!
Thank you
All machines need a little loving from time to time.
Captain Kleeman, just came in from touching up the mower with JD green paint.😊
Nice!
I'm glad your keeping up ,but it will never be right till the front end is right ❤
The front end is right?
Nice job a little much-needed maintenance thanks for sharing see you next time

I have to say Mike I am enjoying this channel as much as your other one good videos and lots of ideas on what you might try if you have older machine's thanks for bringing us along.
I do believe this is the 3 rd time seeing this. Seem to notice a little detail each time.
Mike love the second channel!👍
Thanks!
I had a job were I would spend hours pollishing JD hoods. When I saw you with that rattlebomb, I had flashbacks. lol Great video bud. Take care.
Even the birds are posting some encouraging tweets! lol
Howdy Captain
Hello from the Netherlands Kleeman .
thanks for the video Mike .
Sincerely Hollandduck
I’m anxiously awaiting the solution to the leaking oil @2:03 because I do the weekly wipe on the oil pan too! I haven’t been able to locate the leak yet.
It's the rear main seal normally caused by excess vibration due to failed engine mounts
Great job keep it up love your videos thank you
hello mike its is randy i like yours video is cool thanks friends randy
Am I mistaken Cappy or is that a bit of classical music I hear in the background, love that!!!
Thanks Paul
Thank you, i like when you fix everythung and your explanation is awesome, i learn a lot and you shared your experience 👍👍👍👍
Appreciate ya watching

Maybe he used red loctite just to be safe
As always a great video 😊 your work is amazing, trial and error !!! Keep doing what you’re doing 😅❤
Thanks Barry
Great video! Awesome looking John Deere! i just subscribed to your channel and i hit the bell thing too. :)
Hey thanks! Definitely appreciate it
Nice little video on maintenance on your tractor.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Thanks Tom
Great

🤣🤣
Could use a good power wash 😊
A set of throw over forks like you have on the 755 would be perfect for your 555
What part number is that wix fuel filtet?
9:20 have you greased the drive shaft for the 4 wheel drive ?
and the steering rod and servo steer cylinder
No need to grease the steer cylinder as the leaking main seal keeps it lubed 👍
@@Kleeman1 logical, then better dont fix it else youll need to grease it every year or two
Cool video!😊
Thanks Rhonda
Those little guys sure are tough and seems like they like to punch above their class.
Definitely!
👍🏻👍🏻
@Kleeman, Did you get an email about a NJ Mack? Did I send it to the correct email address?
I did not see it, captainkleeman1@gmail.com

Hard telling from a dealer.
There's nothing like an armpit full of used oil straight from the crankcase.
It's like a badge of honor

Yup, how bad if a job was it? I'll probably pull the engine to redo the engine mounts as well

I just replaced my fuel filter, was about the size of your thumb, nearly 30.oo dollars!
That's wild
Good project and needed done ✅ or it’s always coming due 😂
Exactly!
What kinda bird do I keep hearing in back ground
Not sure
Did i miss something on other channel. That you started another.
Yes
Go kleeman Go!
2:02 4:17 Clues to a major job on the main channel. 😮😮 Bad engine mounts, major engine shake, serious engine oil leak....🤣🤣
🤘🏼🇺🇸
💪
I don’t really understand the two channels, seems to have same type of content but idc I watch both…
Shorter videos. What I do in here wouldn't be long enough for the other channel
Yanmar may not want JD additive!
👍👍👍🐝🌞
It’s funny you care more about painting pipe then actual maintenance, like cleaning the dirt mess the engine and wheels are covered in.
Dirt don't hurt 💪
Is this legit channel of yours?
Yup!
