Hey Spencer, where do you off road? I have the same truck in grey with the ridgelander tonneau cover and cross bars, trd cold air intake and exhaust. Next mod will be rock sliders, any suggestions?
Topgun 86 hey there! I primarily off-road around boulder and up in the foothills by Nederland. Lots of good local close trails. The trucks so new so I don’t want to push it too much yet until I have sliders and suspension mods. Watch my newest video for more on the truck. Highly recommend at least better tires for grip, then sliders and finally a lift. I like what you have planned for yours. You’ll like it, just depends on your use. On or off-road?
I have 19 or and when I turn it on break feels like it’s kicking me. Does yours do same ? Do you feel breaks are harder than car or sport model. I used to own 17 trd sport and breaks were softer than off road version. Is that fine ? Normal to feel breaks harder.
Shade Ss hmmm, that is interesting! It is more rugged as the suspension, wheels and tires are all bigger and different than the TRD Sport. So it will feel different. If you feel like it’s a big concern, take it to your Toyota dealer and have them take a look. Might help answer some questions between the feel!

@@spencersteele7 What? You made the switch from the 2015? Damn. I commented on one of your old videos of your 2015 Tacoma. Overall worth it and no regrets versus the 2015?
It comes with the 2 available tech package upgrades. The “stock” bumper is chrome. There are aftermarket ready made bumper covers out there for purchase. Not sure what they were thinking with the chrome.
I love buying and selling cars and trucks. Although, LED head lights, carplay and slight look refresh is not enough for me to upgrade. If you haven't purchased yet or are interested in a new Taco, go with the 2020. Then it is worth it.

SMSuperstrat not totally sure about this. I believe the whole truck is a little bit higher and bigger than the previous generation. Although I could be wrong!
Johnny Yum it’s a TRD off-road which is closer in spec to a TRD Pro. The sport is the entry level TRD and is primarily an appearance package. The TRD off-road adds much in terms of off road capability.
Depends on your use. I personally think the off road is a better value. Although if you aren't going to use its capability then go with the sport. If you do plan on taking the truck off to some trails then stick with the offroad. It is for sure more capable with the craw control and rear locking differential.

Nice truck! So hard to decide on a color. I have a z71 Colorado and dislike it. The transmission shifting is not good. It’s a jerky mess all over the place while around town. How’s the Tacoma’s transmission? I need to test drive one.
Trey H I’m stoked on the cement color! For sure go drive one. Toyota’s are usually a little jerky, but in their own way. It’s not like it’s broken. Over all it’s smooth, just expect a truck ride. Go drive one and you’ll see what I mean!
I owned a 2016 GMC Canyon and sold it for this exact truck, same colour and everything. Best decision I have ever made. I agree with the bad transmission shifting in the GMs. Not a single complaint in my Toyota. Hope you come over to the good side !
