I just want to dispel any myth that the Sport is not a capable offroad truck. I had a 2008 TRD Sport and just bought a new 2018 TRD Sport... I prefer the Sport, as it simply looks more appealing and also has a longer bed (in Canadian model anyway), which is very important to me. As for the offroad ability of the Sport versus the Offroad model, I think it's negligible for most people. Yeah, a rear locker would be nice on the Sport but not a deal breaker. The Bilsteins on the Offroad are nice but the Sport's shocks are more than adequate... I live in Eastern Canada where we have snow from December until late March and I've been in the worst kinds of winter storms in my 2008 Sport. It performed like a champ, and I expect that my new 2018 Sport will as well. You won't go wrong with either model. Have fun with whichever you choose.
Sport 4x4... people have been off-roading for years WAY before crawl control and locking diffs. My trucks too pretty to go rock crawling. I’ll stick to trails and snow. Otherwise it looks way better the other 95% of the time while on the road
I have a 2018 TRD sport 4x2 in Cement Grey. I love my truck! Sometimes I kick myself for not getting a 4x4 but I don’t see myself ever off roading. I live in CA so I don’t see snow either. But I do go camping and my truck is more then capable driving off the road to camping spots. So I’m happy..
I have to ask, do you still have the Tacoma? I’m currently looking at a 18’ sport that my brother might be able to sell me. Wondering if you still like it? I don’t need 4x4 either
One clarification - the body color rear bumper includes back-up sensors that are part of the Technology Package. The chrome bumper does not have them. My son bought an Off-Road this weekend that is without the Tech Pkg. It is a beautiful truck.
Good eyes there Bud! I know you're right on that one too....I should have looked closer at upgrades when I did the video....let me know if you ever have any Toyota video ideas and I'll whip one up on that topic...jeff
Would y’all recommend just going for a new one instead of used? It’ll be my first vehicle purchase, & I’ve also been searching for used ones but noticed the price doesn’t really go down.
You really need to do your research before doings adds. There are so many things wrong with this video. #1 the off road rides smoother than the sport. the sport has a sport tuned suspension which will give it more of an harsh ride, #2 the off road is available with body colored matched bumper ( i have one in my driveway) #3 you were not demo ing how the crawl control worked as you were not in 4 Low. Hence the beeping and the flashing low. you didn't properly engage the system. i can keep going but this should be enough
@terry Dubber84 since you have the 2018 Tacoma TRD, can I get your opinion on it vs a 2006 TRD? I understand the 2018 has a 3.5L V6 producing 278hp at 6,000 RPM and 265 lb-ft torque at 4,600 RPM. My research shows the 2006 has a 4.0L V6 producing 236 hp and 266 lb-ft torque. Seems odd that the older 2006 version has a bigger engine with less horsepower and less torque. Have the engine and transmission performance improved that much on the new truck despite the engine being smaller in the 2018? Sometimes making engines smaller and more powerful comes at the cost of reliability. Do you feel the 3.5L V6 is as reliable as the older 4.0L V6 that used to be in the Tacoma? I realize you might not have any experience with the older trucks with the bigger engines, but I'm mentioning these differences in case you do. If you can only speak based on your experience with the 2018, that's still helpful and appreciated. Finally, since you owned the truck for a while, what are 2 or 3 things you like least about the Tacoma?
RedondoBeach2 excellent question. I just traded my 2015 SR5 4.0L in on my 18 OR. In 2015 when I test drove the 16 vs the 15, the 15 felt faster from the dig. The 4.0 makes peak HP and TQ at low RPM so at that time it felt quicker than the 3.5 that makes peak hp at very high rpm. After owning the 4.0l for almost three years I became very familiar with the truck, and how the power felt. I decided to test drive a 2018 3.5 in July and the power and response had greatly improved over the 4.0. Same engine as i originally tested however there has since been some re-flashes and updates to the power delivery of the 3rd gen taco. I enjoyed the ownership of the SR5 4.0, I had zero mechanical issues with that truck over the 50000kms i drove it, and frankly it was the cheapest maintenance vehicle i have ever owned. I love everything about the 3.5 gen3 with an auto trans, however the constant searching for gears on slight inclines or the plunging in to a low gear on a longer incline is starting to get old. There's after market software solutions for this and may be something i look in to down the road. ( i noticed from the get go our 2015 rav4 does the same thing, trans are geared for economy these days). i do not regret buying a gen 3 even with the trans issue, the truck is better in every way (except trans) but the trans does help for long distance travel economy. There were a couple things i had to get used to but they are convenience things that can be turned off. 1 The radar guided cruise control slows down the vehicle upon approaching a slower vehicle in the front of you, not allowing you to get close enough to perform a quick pass. ( easy fix don't use the radar just use normal cruise) and 2. the auto high beams, much like your auto headlights your auto high beams will come on when the area is dark enough, however sometime they decide a street light is an on coming car, and other times when cars are approaching the headlights wont dip. I have also had it where they just randomly start going off and on when there's no lights or vehicles approaching. looked like a rav concert on the highway ( easy solution again, use the lights manually ) i hope this info helps
terry Dubber84 The 3.5L seems like a better truck. The transmission software design does sound like a nuisance but I see Toyota's rationale for programming in that economy. I'm guessing it also reduced stress on the transmission and smaller engine which could be specifically designed for certain loads at certain RPMs. Likewise, If there's an aftermarket software update that overcomes the factory settings and does it in a way that doesn't degrade reliability of the engine and transmission, this could be a great upgrade to consider. Personally, I would not tinker with the OEM software out of concern for degrading longterm reliability of the engine/transmission until other people prove, through several years/miles of use, that the aftermarket software maintains reliability. Also, thanks for sharing your other concerns. Radar guided cruise control won't be an issue for me since I rarely use cruise control. I prefer to have full engagement with a vehicle, even on longer road trips. The auto high beams is something that would irritate me. I would prefer this system to only be manual. One more thing I should have asked you is; what would you say is the tallest a person can be and still feel comfortable in the Taco? It's been a while since I've been in one. I'm 6'3" and concerned it might be too small. I might still get one regardless but buy it for my mom if it's too small for me. I like the durability, reliability and styling of the Tacoma over all other trucks in its class. After reading some other reviews about the truck, it sounds like maybe one area where Toyota skimped is on the head unit. Apparently it does integrate with smart phones for playing music but not for making phone calls.
I picked up the off-road 4x4 in blue. I like using the crawl control because the older I get the more lazy I get when I drive to hard to reach fishing spots
I picked the Sport I could do everything the offroad does if I needed to, but I don;t use for off roading will wasteful in gas due to the tires and noisier I also picked the long bed that is not offered in the off road for good reason too long for some of the off roading. But if I wanted to do the off roading seriously I go with the pro that is already have everything you need because in off roading you still have to get more toys. THe sport in my case is quieter and smoother in normal driving, towing and still could hit the dirt safely and snow,
I used to love Tacoma Sport models prior to the 2016 redesign. Now I just like the TRD Off Road style, more aggressive looking. But both amazing trucks.
Yes there’s a different. The off road is very jumpy on road, the sport rides more adequately. However, for 1200$, you can get a basic Old Man Emu suspension that’ll kick the ass of that little bilstein
We have a 2018 TRD Sport, 6130 miles. Motor let go! This is our Fifth Toyota, three Tundras and one RAV4. Never a mechanical problem. We’ll see how Toyota handles this!
Got the Sport 4x4 and I have no need for the Off Road no-skilled-driver assisting tools. You just need to pick better lines and be smart about the gas pedal. Regardless you can't go wrong with either.
So basically the sport looks better and drives better for regular driving where as the offroad has more offroad specific features. For me personally, I would go with the sport because it looks better and drives better on the highway. I do go offroad occasionally but not to the extreme where I would need those additional offroad options. I'll say this though, at either price point you may as well get the trd pro and call it a day.
Well to be more specific, the sport has better handling it turns, corners...etc.. while the offroad has a softer suspension which handles bumps and rough terrain better.
@cointoss election some people put a higher value on looks, and the sport looks better than the off-road even though it's a less capable off road truck. But I do agree that the sport should be much cheaper compared to the off road.
Bought my 2006 Taco (new) 15 years ago. After 395K, it's time for an upgrade. The reliability and longevity has been well worth the extra original cost. Haven't made a payment in over 10 years. Now time to trade up to a TRD Offroad or Sport. Fingers crossed I get another 15 years.
I have owned a 2017 sport and now the 2018 off road. Off road seems a bit nicer but also went from a manual go an automatic. Too many people moved to Oregon and simply got tired of down shift up shift traffic problems. Times have changed and auto is easier in traffic. Pretty much excess wear on your clutch in my opinion with a manual in Oregon.
Here in Mexico we don't get the offroad versions. We just get the Sport in a 4x2 and a 4x4 versions, and an extra trim level that adds qi charging and slightly nicer seats
Trd offroad. I just got one. Oh my... i love it (went in for sr5 access cab 4x4 and came out w trd off-road long bed.) I didnt realize how much more goodies there are in trd offroad .
Well I have the 2017 TRD Off- Road and I love it but, I wanted the TRD sport but could not find the Access Cab in the Sport addition when buying one. I also had a 1999 Off Road Access Cab so it's all good in the end.
I got the Sport because I like the way it looks. I will eventually add a suspension lift with AT/MT tires, lockers, skid plates and sliders so it was a no brainer for me. The stock off road suspension is no match for after market for "REAL" wheeling. Get the better looking truck then start the modifications!
@@100kviewsviews6 He clearly said the "stock off road suspension". If you upgraded to a 6 inch lift and after market tires, then you no longer have "stock".
I choose the offroad and put afher market pro grill and hood ! Color match the chrome bumper and black out everything that is chrome! 33s inch tire on black wheels!
Well that Off Road with it’s updated packages is for me. Heated leather seats, moon roof are my thing. Throw in that great sound system and you reeled me in. It was interesting to see the underside view of the trucks. This Off Road version makes me Sew Happy! By Cheryl.
You can get all of that in the Sport model as well. I did. This is not an apples to apples comparison. One had the tech package and one didn't. You can get the tech package on either model.
If most of your driving is on pavement the off road ride compared to the sport should be a deterrent. I just got the trd sport as this is my second (had a 2012 previously). Sport is the right one for me. Only wish I got it in black but my super white is nice too
You should be glad you got white instead of black. Black is a nightmare to keep clean. I have MGM which is slightly easier to keep clean than black but its still a dirt magnet.
Drove both, bought the '17 4x4 sport, access cab, long bed. Better on the road and that's most of the time, and equal off road (IMO). Tires and shocks can be swapped if desired. My choice was access cab, long bed. Short wheelbase, but a more practical bed. It's a rare setup but very nice if you are not hauling babies. Truck is faster with the hood scoop! Lol
I have an 18 sport 6 speed with the leather heated seats and sun roof , from what I’m told that was a special order, because most sports didn’t come with the leather or sun roof
My 2017 off-road floats over any bumps with ease very comfortable ride now it's even better after the reflash of the automatic transmission,I have had several Tacomas this one is the nicest one
I own the Sport. I was pressed to get one as I had only a few hours to make a purchase (long story).... Had I been able to hold out and shop, I'd had gotten the Off Road.
All TRD packages can have painted rear bumpers if you have the tech package. I got a trd off-road and mine has painted rear bumper to match my vehicle but mine has tech package and premium package.
Aside from getting most of this wrong, the sport can also have a 6' bed with a double cab. The off-road can have a 6' bed only with an access cab. The scoop makes a Scouting Blind/Command Bunker for my cat. He likes to take charge.
I got the 2017 TacomaTRD sport 4x4 in Mexico for about 29K, taxes included. The only difference with the US version is the optional safety package, like lane departure warning, etc. Other than that it is the same. Sooo, I am happy to have saved, like 10k. I know, not everybody has Mexican DL, which is mandatory to buy a car in Mexico. But heck, I live in the border, why shouldn’t I take advantage of that? The off-road version was not available there.
Crawl control might be nice if you dont know what your doing off road but most people are gonna replace the suspension change rims and tires remove and install new front and rear bumpers and put on real skid plates. So does any of that cheap stock crap really matter? I went with the sport knowing that it was all gonna get replaced with upgrades
wouldn't it be nice if you could do some sort of switch that doesn't penalize you? like you could switch yours with someone who has an off-road? haha jeff
I just said forget them both an restored the venerable 1985 K5 Blazer with a new 300 hp Goodwrench crate motor. Installed the latest off road goodies and still had 25k leftover. Believe me it will go where Tacoma's only dream of going.
I'm trying to build a tacoma on @t. Would it be safe to assume if the package states dual zone climate control, that means it'll have heated front seats? Makes sense to me... Theres only one package on the website that specifically states heated seats.
Lol unless you’re doing some serious off roading, the sport is the way to go. The TRD Sport will handle 90% of what the off road will do without a hiccup remember people it’s still a Tacoma.. if the majority of your driving is on the road stick with the sport. Plus who want plastic fenders????
🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ yes it’s made of the same material. Guess I rly rly rly have to watch how I phrase my words because someone will try and discredit you.. So let me rephrase.. Who wants unfinished fender flares on a 40k plus truck?? Not I
The offroad is just extra options for the same price. Don't know why anyone would want the sport unless they're one of those people that HAVE to have a manual transmission.
For me the TRD Off-Road 4x4 automatic with the premium package is the best and looks way better. The Sport's rims and the vortex generators are not what I imagine on a truck, if I wanted a sport vehicle I would get a Subaru STI.
EXACTLY. And I don't like non-functioning items on my vehicle...scoop has to go. If I had no choice in the matter, I'd figure a way to put some function of it. That does NOT include putting a light bar in it. Subaru WRX was the 2nd option on my list.
Test drove a Off-road and found the tires a little noisy and the ride a little jittery, feeling the bumps and undulations in the road too well. I didn't test drive it the Sport yet but I think it would be smoother. ( I'm used to a smooth riding CR-V).
Jeff your awesome!! thank you for all your videos. I learned so much watching your videos about Tacoma's. Don't listen to these loner haters that are putting false negative comments. Thank you Jeff.
I know right now the auto market is all messed up, but there is a fairly good price difference in these two. If they were the same cost, then I'd go with the off road all day.
I'm will be looking at the Sport and Off-Road soon. Like most people, I narrowed it down to the two trims and indecisive on which one. The Off-Road does seem like a good value and has extra off-road features, for the same price as the Sport. However, I don't see myself doing a lot or heavy off-roading. I do like the look of the Off-Road. I have read mixed reviews on how each ride and handle, which I think will be the deciding factor in my purchase. I don't expect razor sharp handling or a cushy ride, but a nice balance between the two. Any thoughts on this with the Sport vs Off-Road? Thank you!
I'd rather pay 40k for a Toyota as apposed to a F150 for 60k . And five years down the road the ford not even be worth half of sticker price when it was new. And the Toyota is still worth about 70% it's sticker price when it was new.
@@robertgoodman4430 bought my 2017 new at 35k, lost my job, sold it back to the dealer with 20000 on it, and the best he would do was 26k. so much for great resale value.
I own a 2018 sport 4x2, live in miami, no off roading here. I wish it had more power though, and the automatic trans does a lot of gear searching when suddenly accelerating above a 30 mph cruise speed. Anybody got some suggestions for upping the ponies on my sport?
My 2018 Toyota Tacoma off road has leather seats and the rear traction button but no 4K d button…🧐 I haven’t seen a single video review with my type of button configuration
Guys, I will buy a tacoma and i should choose trim between trd off road or sports. but it is pretty hard to decide because I might not go rocky road because i don't want damage to drive train, transfer case something like that. but one reason that i like offroad is i am living in Manitoba, CA. it snows heavily... locking diff might be helpful when i am stuck in snow or also it can be helpful on sand or mud. which trim will you guys choose? trd sport which have longer bed than off road? or trd off road??
I owned a TRD sport and the ride was junk/annoying. It was too stiff for a truck. But I guess they are calling it SPORT for a reason. I am in AB. and I prefer a better ride, plus a manual transmission as the auto is trash for towing. Owned a 1987, 2007, 2015 and soon a 2020 Tacoma. With decent tires, any 4x4 will get you out of the snow, unless of course you hit the ditch. Then you might need a tow. Good luck with your decision.
@@PR-xh3nj thank you~ i am still thinking lol. if tacoma offroad can have double cap + 6' cargo bed like sports or sports upgrade, definitely, I will decide easily but... you know it is big difference 5' and 6' cargo bed.
This demo of crawl control is wrong. If it's beeping you aren't locked in. He was half-assed in 4 low and that is different than crawl control. If it beeps and blinks something is wrong
Well I think both are quite the same both are 4x4 which is the main thing I have 2017 4x4 sport my friend has 2015 4x4 off road I still do all what he does we do a lot of off road and another friend has a 1981 toyota 4x4 and I think his truck does better than ours
Get an off road if you like going in the trails get a sport if you’re just in the city I got 4x4 sport I don’t really go in the trails but that off road rear bumper is chrome 🤮
For me the selling point is the manual.. I really really wish I could get a TRD Off Road in a manual (I know you can get the access cab off road in manual but I like 4 doors and 4 seats)
Preferences are “this or that”...

2018 trd off-road here. Love the living shit outa this truck. I don’t need a hood scoop
Buy the trd sport and lift it with a kit from headstrong offroad. Mine now has 33" nitto trail grapplers and makes trd pro truck look anemic!
Appreciate the video , I came here to get a quick idea of the differences between the 2 and you helped tremendously
goldengloves36123 glad I could help!!
Bought a sport. Love it!
Off road with the 6 speed super fun truck. I truly love mine
I'm glad you got one vette man! I love the off road myself! Jeff
Vette Man me 2- Manual is a blast !! Especially with a URD short shifter
Michael Kastner where u get that?
Michael Kastner i want one
Well I have the 2017 TRD Off- Road and I love it but, I wanted the TRD sport but could not find the Access Cab in the Sport addition when buying one. I also had a 1999 Off Road Access Cab so it's all good in the end.
TRD sport then build from there.
Excellent side by side comparison!!
I got the Sport because I like the way it looks. I will eventually add a suspension lift with AT/MT tires, lockers, skid plates and sliders so it was a no brainer for me. The stock off road suspension is no match for after market for "REAL" wheeling. Get the better looking truck then start the modifications!
You dont know what you talking about i have the off road with 6inch lift kit and after market tires its perfect.
I traded my 2013 STI in for my Tacoma Sport. Guess how many miles I put in rallying my Subaru? Zero! Same amount as I’m gonna off road my Taco.
You really missed out then.
Well that Off Road with it’s updated packages is for me. Heated leather seats, moon roof are my thing. Throw in that great sound system and you reeled me in. It was interesting to see the underside view of the trucks. This Off Road version makes me Sew Happy! By Cheryl.
Great analysis Cheryl! Thanks for watching the video...I agree that the upgraded option package really completes the Off Road! Jeff
You can get all of that in the Sport model as well. I did. This is not an apples to apples comparison. One had the tech package and one didn't. You can get the tech package on either model.
I have all those features in my TRD Sport! 😁
He said it right in the beginning .....which one would you buy "IF YOU COULD". These trucks are way over priced for aluminum and plastic.
Great work, Jeff!
Thanks Chris! Keep on keepin' on! jeff
If most of your driving is on pavement the off road ride compared to the sport should be a deterrent. I just got the trd sport as this is my second (had a 2012 previously). Sport is the right one for me. Only wish I got it in black but my super white is nice too
The first Sport I ever sold was in white....my customer sends me pictures of it on the sand at Atlantic Beach....jeff
Lol
Vortex generator helps gas mileage, but they get exactly the same MPG?
TRD Offroad 4x4 with long bed in cement color. No premium package. Clazzio seat covers.
I have an 18 sport 6 speed with the leather heated seats and sun roof , from what I’m told that was a special order, because most sports didn’t come with the leather or sun roof
Bought a 17 sport. Good enough for the Chicago area.
What’s the long story lol
@@ventura80503 If I tell you I will only get the Sport in the divorce.
All TRD packages can have painted rear bumpers if you have the tech package. I got a trd off-road and mine has painted rear bumper to match my vehicle but mine has tech package and premium package.
I’m buying an Off Road in a week.. I’ve owned a 1973 FJ-40 since 1989 so I can’t stray from my Toyota family.
Great review , but why was the beeping chiming during "off road" features tutorial...4 wheel low not engaged, or door open?....
I bought a 2018 Trd Sport M/T 2 months ago.... I regret it every day... should have done the offroad...
Nunya Bizness why regret?
wouldn't it be nice if you could do some sort of switch that doesn't penalize you? like you could switch yours with someone who has an off-road? haha jeff
@@jacayuga Im swapping out the suspension for bilstein anyways... may as well have had the locker from factory. But oh well ARB it is.
Hhahah took me couple months to really figured out which truck is better
2018 TRD OFF ROAD 4X4
CEMENT GRAY
I'll take an aftermarket locker all day. My sport keeps up with my buddies offroad all day and looks better. I put duratracs on my sport as well
I just said forget them both an restored the venerable 1985 K5 Blazer with a new 300 hp Goodwrench crate motor. Installed the latest off road goodies and still had 25k leftover. Believe me it will go where Tacoma's only dream of going.
libertyn jeopardy nobody cares...
You could get the tech package in the Off Road and the Sport.
the tech pkg will add the color matched rear bumper on the off road. from my research the sport has the inverter in the back but the off road doesnt?
Freaking hilarious and informative. I enjoy your podcasts. Nice job.
Sport 2 K is important and love the scoop!!
I'm trying to build a tacoma on @t. Would it be safe to assume if the package states dual zone climate control, that means it'll have heated front seats? Makes sense to me... Theres only one package on the website that specifically states heated seats.
I had the choice between these two and even though I like the hood scoop, like I had on my xrunner, I went with TRD Off Road!
Lol unless you’re doing some serious off roading, the sport is the way to go. The TRD Sport will handle 90% of what the off road will do without a hiccup remember people it’s still a Tacoma.. if the majority of your driving is on the road stick with the sport. Plus who want plastic fenders????
the fender flares are made of the same material on both trucks. the difference is 1 is prepped and painted, while the other just has clear coat.
@@johndeez6308 I personally prefer the non painted fenders
Its also cheaper
For me the TRD Off-Road 4x4 automatic with the premium package is the best and looks way better. The Sport's rims and the vortex generators are not what I imagine on a truck, if I wanted a sport vehicle I would get a Subaru STI.
EXACTLY. And I don't like non-functioning items on my vehicle...scoop has to go. If I had no choice in the matter, I'd figure a way to put some function of it. That does NOT include putting a light bar in it. Subaru WRX was the 2nd option on my list.
i have a 16 trd sport love it.
I love my 2017 Blue Tacoma TRD Sport XP. I wish I would have gotten the 4x4 and a sunroof. Other than that, I Love it!!
Is it better to get the s sport then upgrade it or is the off road better to start with? I’m thinking of getting the 2016 model.
Can you purchase the TRD off road with the sport hood scoop ?
Herman Herrera no, unless you purchase the hood separately
Test drove a Off-road and found the tires a little noisy and the ride a little jittery, feeling the bumps and undulations in the road too well. I didn't test drive it the Sport yet but I think it would be smoother. ( I'm used to a smooth riding CR-V).
FYI- not all Off Roads come with chrome rear bumper. I have seen several with painted rear bumper.
The Rear bumper on the TRD Off Road depends on which package you choose I believe you get the colored bumper with the Premium package
Raliegh in the house!!
Rick B Raleigh in the house!!!! Haha how goes it Rick?
Can you change the fender flares on the sport?
yes
Why do they need paint protection does toyota skimp not applying clearcoat over painr? Or just a dealer mark up the price?
What did you guys pay for your Off-road Tacomas? Im looking at 2018 a double cab
Jeff your awesome!! thank you for all your videos. I learned so much watching your videos about Tacoma's. Don't listen to these loner haters that are putting false negative comments. Thank you Jeff.
Manual transmission doesn’t have that crawl control for off-road right
I know right now the auto market is all messed up, but there is a fairly good price difference in these two.
Thank you!
You did a TRD Sport Vs an Off Road Premium? Why not do a Sport Premium vs an Off Road Premium?
Can you get the package that the off-road has in this video for the sport?
Greatly appreciated video. Thanks! Off road!
$40k for a non full-size truck...I love Toyota but god damn that's a lot.
Agree way to much. And the inside really simple truck, just because they new?? Come on
30k tops.
I'd rather pay 40k for a Toyota as apposed to a F150 for 60k . And five years down the road the ford not even be worth half of sticker price when it was new. And the Toyota is still worth about 70% it's sticker price when it was new.
@@oNeptun3 a 2015 Tacoma 4door 4wheeldrive with fairly low miles is still almost 30k
My 2018 Toyota Tacoma off road has leather seats and the rear traction button but no 4K d button…🧐
I haven’t seen a single video review with my type of button configuration
I like trd sport 2wd
Isn't the sport just an SR5 with the hood scope
I want a Calvary blue sport with no scoop 😢
My problem is the scoop too. I want the sport with no scoop. And I don't like the limited grill, so hard to choose.
Thanks Jeff!
The beeping on the crawl control is very annoying. Can that be turned off??
It was beeping because it was in 4 lo, so it's interesting to know if you could use crawl control in 4 hi .
No automatic seats?
TRD OFF ROAD in my opinion but I'm bias I have a 2015 Tomcoa TRD to it the Off Road package
wth is that beep at the demo 5:45
Never buy packages from the dealer.
Love that off-road Tacoma, trucks need to be off-road
Got my trd 4x4 sport in a manual transmission!
Get an off road if you like going in the trails get a sport if you’re just in the city I got 4x4 sport I don’t really go in the trails but that off road rear bumper is chrome 🤮
i plasti dipped mine the chrome just clashed with every thing.
I love those so cool .
That beep in crawl mode? Does it do that the whole time? Really annoying.
I like the TDR Pro
Off road is the way to go!
For me the selling point is the manual.. I really really wish I could get a TRD Off Road in a manual (I know you can get the access cab off road in manual but I like 4 doors and 4 seats)
washthebrain you can, I own one
i have a 2018 access cab off road i like the sport ,but i only drive manuals, if it is not a manual it is not a truck, ha ha
And the Off Road has 8.75 ring gear and high strength axel tubes as well..
