Even though you don’t have all the exact measurements for you recipes from time to time, I really appreciate seeing how much you put in so I can make approximates! Thanks, I love your videos!
I like my apples diced small too. When I open the can, I stick a sharp knife down in the middle of the apples and start slicing. That way I still get the small ones with the ease of using the canned ones.
The Italian dressing mix makes a great pasta sauce. Combine with tomato sauce and tomato paste. Cook on low for a couple hours. Freeze it. Then when ready to use thaw and add your meats and veggies. Heat it up. You can precook your meats and veggies and freeze too. Let me know if you do it in your blog.
Love watching you cook, your good is simple but very wholesome, we can all follow what you say. That Apple Crisp or crumble as we call it in NZ looks delicious, I'm going to make it for my hubby. Bless your family, Diana.
I use to use the same kind of mop that you have. But as I got into more pain with my nerve disease. I switched to a Shark Steam Mop. It was a game changer! Yes it cost about 200.00 or more. But it cleans my wood floors like a dream and disaffect them at the same time. This is something maybe that is worth looking into.
I remember veggie pizza oh it is so good! The taco soup looked delicious too! Decades ago when my father moved us out west he got hungry for a steak sandwich and went to a diner out west to have one. They literally put a slab of steak on a roll for him, ha ha ha! This was LOONG before regional foods were readily available. Everything looks fabulous thanks for sharing your ideas!
Thanks for sharing your recipe ideas. I like to keep chocolate chip cookie dough balls in the freezer, the taste is better than freshly mixed. When I want a cookie, I just pull out 1 or 2 and bake in my toaster oven, at 325° F for 12-14 minutes. I really appreciate the apple crisp recipe since I've been craving it now that it is apple season. You look great, Lynette.
I do the same thing with cookie hall's. Got about 100 oatmeal/cranberry cookie balls right now and getting ready to make and freeze Pecan Sandies. Getting ready for a party next month.
I mix ketchup and brown sugar, salt and pepper.....heat in microwave or on stove and serve on philly cheese steaks. I only use cheesesteak meat and onions. Sometimes I serve on hot dog rolls if I do not have any other rolls. I live alone and it is a quick and easy meal for me to enjoy. I want to try the apple crumble with canned pie filling. It looks so good. yum! Thank you for the videos. I like hearing you talk. You have a pleasant voice. Your boy looked cute looking up the stairs. :)
Loved this video Lyn! Everything looks delish...I absolutely love bbq pork sandwiches. I'm a sucker for philly cheese steak sandwiches...yumO!! I need to clean y floors too so don't feel so quilty, I'm not pregnant, so there's no excuse for me😁. Great video🤗👍👍thanks for sharing!!
That rusty orange colour looks lovely on you! Thanks for the meal inspiration! I've been wanting to use our crockpot but haven't had any food ideas so this is perfect. I'm from Sweden and it is always fun to try out some other styles of cooking. American, Mennonite and Amish food is pretty different from traditional Swedish cooking but I think it is always good to widen your horizon and experience different stuff, who knows maybe you will find a new favourite!
Recently found your channel and I’m enjoying everything I have watched. I appreciate recipes I can actually make and are affordable, thank you. I look forward to watching more. 🙂
The pork roast BBQ looked so good. We love Sweet Baby Rays. That vegetable pizza is one way to get your veggies in. It looks good. Yes do more food videos. The Apple Crisp looked so yummy. I love peaches too and the crumb topping would be really good on the peaches.
Boy! I love your sons bedding!! That sure would have been easier! Thirty years ago. Trying to make my boys bunk beds when I was Very Pregnant with our daughter was quite the trick. Thanks for letting me share in your families journey. You are truly a blessing
Oh, yum! My pregnant self is craving veggie pizza now! I use cream cheese and also love adding green or red peppers and radishes to mine😋 And chocolate chip cookies, apple crisp and taco soup! Can you tell I'm hungry, lol😂
Oooooh the philly steak recipe. Definitely going to do that one. I buy roasts and hubby slices them for me...because...me & knives have a history. 😔 (so do me & ovens...goes all the way back to our honeymoon.☺) But, i am always on the lookout for roast sales cause he will thinly slice them for asian dishes, fajitas or chunk them for stew or stroganoff. It's cheaper than precut and you can eliminate a lot of the fat. I was going to do beef & broccoli for dinner but am def doing the philly instead. 😋 You are looking so lovely carrying that baby girl. I have an Ariel Shalom and an Olivia Savanna-Rose...in case you need suggestions. LOL!! 😉 You deserve a bubble bath and foot massage.... Nick needs to pamper you before baby girl makes her arrival. 💖💖
this all in one style video was great. Love taco soup also, we put in fresh chopped pepper, onions, and a can of rotel or salsa, sometimes so ranch seasoning. The veggie pizza brought back memories of my mom making it so we would eat our raw veggies.
definitely do more of these type of videos!! I LOVED it!!!!! OH wow, yes, I love the chicken taco soup! I need to make that again! I did a butternut squash soup in the crockpot today that turned out quite delicious! And cold pizzas are SUPER yummy. Definitely the cream cheese is a game changer.
I love this video- I think it’s awesome that you make a video and share it allll with us! I love how “real” you are. You’re not like, “Oh gotta make this only a cooking themed video!” I feel like you don’t sweat the small stuff. ;)
Oh I throughly enjoyed this type of format for your video. I love sharing food ideas with others. Sometimes it’s just okay to take a shortcut when cooking/baking. 💜💜💜💜💜
I love your videos. I make something similar to your taco soup. Instead of diced tomatoes and tomato sauce, I use two cans of rotelle and a jar of salsa. When it's almost done I add a package of lipton/knorr spanish rice. I also like mine with tortilla chips. Thank you for sharing.
A quick lesson on crumbles crisps slumps grunts and buckles. All of these were invented in New England Wayback. It is a crumble if it contains oats or nuts or anything other than sugar flour and butter. The normal topping for a crisp is sugar butter and flour. Anything else is a crisp. :-) I will leave the remainder for another time and I'll bet you all are glad of that! ;-)
When you cook pork like that, try apple juice for your liquid and a dash or two of liquid hickory smoke..Makes a huge difference in flavor. Love apple crisp. Such a great desert. I use my home canned apple pie filling where the apples are chunked and not sliced. In fact I use it more for apple crisp than I do for pies!! I think I will be trying the Taco soup. Looked so good....
I made taco soup Sunday with ground beef, added tomatoes , tomato sauce, beans, chopped onions, corn, broth, homemade taco mix and 1 package of ranch.cook on top of stove about 1 hour. It was so good. We had cornbread muffins with it. Love your recipe ideas 🙂
Hello Lynette. It is Willow Sage from the little fairy lady. I'm making videos from here again and just subscribe to you from this channel. Your videos are always more very motivational and I thank you for the content is wonderful. God bless you and yours XX Willow Sage
I loved this vlog style. All of your recipes looked delicious. I think it’s fine to “cheat” with those cookie they’re yummy 😋 I’m from Pittsburgh and we have been making vegetable pizza like yours since I was young YUM It’s one of my favorites and I will be making it soon because I’m craving it now!
I have a baker and I also like to cheat on my cookies and stuff. You might do this but something that I do is I make the dough ahead quite a bit roll it up in Saran Wrap put it in the freezer and you just slice pieces off when you need to cook it
I really enjoyed your video. You mentioned Amish recipes and I think that would wonderful . We live in Ontario Canada with beautiful Amish farms all around us. We love going to the Mennonite restaurants and really enjoy the foods they serve and the desserts are so good. I’d love to see your recipes and try them out. Thanks and hugs from Canada.
I enjoyed watching the video on your cooking. I am retired and, I guess, getting lazy in my old age. But I had to chuckle when you used apple pie filling for your apple crisp, as I don't cut up apples. Our grocery store sells tubs of cut up apples and this is what I use. I also love your vegie pizza pie. A lady at my church always makes this for our coffee hour after our service. It is delicious. thanks for the videos.
YES!!! Please keep doing these kind of videos, I am so excited to have some new recipes to try. I have loved everything so far and so has my family. God bless!!
Loved seeing all you got done in this video! the format worked out perfectly! This is mom-life! Full and busy and tiring at times but awesome and wonderful and filled with love and care. Love the recipe ideas!
All the recipes looked very yummy. Have you ever made the Pioneer Woman's 7 Can Soup? Seriously easy- dump cans in a pot and let it heat up. You can add the cheese, we like it that way, but it is simple and yummy. I'm of the same mindset as Nic, I don't care for corn.
Hi Lynette, it’s been awhile since I’ve watched ur videos. I’m sorry that haven’t kept up but some days really get hectic. I really enjoy ur videos especially when u do some new recipes ( n I like the Mennonites recipes u make up there always good, yum yum) I’m so glad u did the apple crisp . It’s one of my favorite deserts although I’ll eat any time yum yum again. I also love the cedar mop it’s great n so much faster I think than getting down on ur knees LOL. I don’t know if u remember but we met at Walmart one day in August. U had ur son Jackson with u. I’m the lady who said to u “ I know u I watch ur Utube. I just thought I throw that in there. I’m so happy for u n ur family that ur having a little girl, congratulations! I will try to keep up watching ur videos. I will be laid up for a few days as I have some dental work that needs to be done teeth pulling, yuck . So I’d better get busy making my apple crisp cuz it will be awhile before I can chew. Many thanks for sharing n many blessings. Michelle Dehart
This all looks so yummy and definitely gave me some new ideas for dinner. Thanks for sharing with us and yes please do keep giving us more videos like this.
I so appreciate you videos. They are always well done ,,,right down to the beautiful background music. The food looks delish too. Thanks for the video Lynn.
Lynette! I forgot to mention awhile ago you were saying something about you dryer not drying right! Funny but I was having the same issue! My washer would spin the clothes out all the way, so I would have to spin, and drain after done with the first cycle! My dryer I would have to run it through 2 cycles because it wouldn't dry either! I got to irrigated with it, that I purchased a matching LG brand set about 2 months ago! I love it!!! Anyways, why I'm saying all of this is because the set you have I noticed was the exact Maytag set I had all my trouble with! 😂
😄👍🏽 mine was blocked on the outside 🙈 I didn’t realize it because it’s different from the one in Ohio. So the air couldn’t really escape because it was blocked outside by the vent. 😩😆 🤦🏻♀️
Yes please do more of these they are so helpful and motivating!! Everything looked so yummy
❤️❤️
@@LynetteYoder I have an Amish Cookbook .I found a recipe "Underground Ham Casserole" ,it taste pretty good ,more like flavored mashed potatoes.
I make a similar ingredient soup - I add jalapeños and add habanero cheese. I crumble “bottom of the bag” tortilla chips.
All over the place is how life is lived. Loved the vlog and recipes!
The Italian dressing mix makes a great pasta sauce. Combine with tomato sauce and tomato paste. Cook on low for a couple hours. Freeze it. Then when ready to use thaw and add your meats and veggies.

You can precook your meats and veggies and freeze too.

Just ordered that mop per your suggestion. I agree, I’m not getting down on the floor!
Always grateful to see shared recipes and now is the time for crock pot recipes! Thank you.
If you freeze your butter and shred it, it makes it easier to add to things like the crumble, or scones and such. Thanks for sharing.
