This man, for over 4 decades, has never ceased to make me smile, and relax, and enjoy the moment with every release. Kudos, Dave, you are a national treasure.
He was a rock and roll star. He issential rock and roll sthe quintessential rock and roll star. He was better than any frontman who ever lived. And he lived at rock n roll Life for all of Us.
His father was an eye surgeon, but I do agree, Dave may be the total package especially since he's the life of the party even at the last part of his sixties (tho, that is not is old anymore! At All... Happy Trails
My doctor says I need a laxative...not in my store you don't! David Lee Roth has always understood the best methods for creating very entertaining music videos.
After seeing Dave on JRE, I really got to like him. He always was an out there entertainer, but now I see him as a wise man, a story teller, and a teacher. This world doesn’t deserve the man.
Apparently Dave and his band got together and recorded this in 2014 but only a sample was released back then. It looks like now he released it. What a gem! The tune is perfect for him! Actually one of his best vocal tracks! The past couple of years he's been putting out tracks and rerecording some Van Halen tracks. Maybe we can get all these in one album plus a several more new ones!
D-Ro, you have made me smile every day of my life since I was 13 (now 57). This is the best version of this song I've ever heard!!! Thank God you exist!!!!!!!
Outstanding.....Dave Lee Roth sings like only he can do...swagger...style and stage presence....the tracks have to be released on an album....a certain best seller...🇬🇧
Never seen Diamond Dave without a big DLR grin on his face. The man is a legend. His voice. His lyrics. His stage presence. Thank you so much Dave for what you have given us over the years. Now ... let's get Big Bad Bill hooked up with Sally!
Dave I'm so happy your doing what you've.been doing for as long as I remember. You getting the last and it's not pay back laugh it's a laugh of you enjoying life. Sounds awesome Dave Rock on .
God diamond 💎 Dave still got it, I swear he made his career and saw it long before he met eddie and alex. He has always been so driven and you cannot deny his talent. No he doesn't have the greatest voice but he knows what he has got and can use it so well. He is an entertainer and he knows what the audiences wants to see. As for eddie, he was gifted as a guitarist but he didn't know how to showcase his talent. Dave taught him to relate to an audience. Changed his wardrobe and give him style. Despite being so different and at times at odds, I think both of them respected each other's talents and knew collectively they had something incredible. Van halen at its height was untouchable. They made music history and both Dave and eddie are grateful to each other for that. Because without it they would never have become the greatest rock band of the 80s and been rocking that boat for 4 decades. I miss eddie. I know Dave does too. And I think despite the rift between them for many years, I believe eddie wanted peace looking at the end of his life.and although he didn't make amends with Dave, the fact that they was a van haken tour scheduled with all the lead singers, hagar Sharone and yes Dave too shows eddies level of forgiveness. He planned too tell Dave but ran out of time ⏲️ That's the sad part but Dave knew in his heart that eddie was sorry fir their disagreements in the hellish years of touring so I think even Dave finely found peace. He dedicated his song over the rainbow bar and grill to eddie, a cheek sort of biography of the bands history. A boy is there ALOT of history in the van halen camp between Dave and eddie. That kind of collaboration and togetherness modeled these boys who in their later years became men. So grateful to see that they have matured and realize what they had was priceless. Van halen was and is the mastery of am acrobatic genuis who combined theatrics with vocal talent and an exceptionally innovative ax man who togther ruled the stage and entertained an audience. That's how I still see van halen one of the most creative over the top bands in musical history. Rip eddie 🙏 forever loved and greatlu missed 🙏 💔
MY sister Linda was the manager of Red Ball Jet....she knew every big band every played Sunset Clubs because her birth sister (they were fosters at our house) was a dancer and played with many after hours bands for years......she called him Super Star and said, he is going to make it...And asked me to take free picture for posters we got to drive around and put up for shows and school gigs....Very kind of him to let us take time our of work, raising kids and going to college! But yes, long before he even met Ed and Al and Mark....he knew what he wanted. He taught my sons and all the other kids to find your dream, research it, do the best to learn from the best, and BE the best .......I hope he does post more of those archived songs. I loved many of them while doing my homework, with my sisters, and he playing and singing waiting for time to load up the equipment and go do a gig somewhere. God bless.
