This was like watching "A Christmas Story" of the 80s and the narration had me laughing my ass off! Thanks for the memories of the time I ran away to LA to see all the hair bands in the 80s and I did- if you weren't there, you'd never understand how epic it really was. God bless you for putting this out there and thanks for the memories guys!
Dave put that extra ZAP in videos and music. His voice is universally recognized, his antics and fun he had making all these videos. Yes, there will never, ever, EVER, be anyone remotely close to holding Dave's jock strap; mostly because he always has the knock-out hot-as-hell foxes holding them for him! If it were possible, I'd re-live the 80's over and over again. Dave, thanks for making life enjoyable.
Had a nice laugh in several spots - great to hear you giving the old days a little play. It's been quite a while since I have seen these vids. Keep em' comin!
DIAMOND DAVE IS THE SHIT Greatest showman on earth. I saw VH in Memphis, Tn and they were the warm up band for Black Sabbath and KICKED THEIR ASS. Still love the 80's this was the best time I ever had. Thanks Dave
Oh my gosh! three words, OUT RA GEOUS! In the day everyone thought Elvis was over the top, Dave makes anything anyone EVER thought was over the top look like a church choir! That was some hilarious stuff and Dave's comments made it better!

I have this video tape. I watched it all the time back in the day. I can’t believe this video popped up for me after 8 years. Thanks for the music & memories, Diamond Dave!
DLR’s influence on his videos is outstanding and beyond perfection. Long live the DIAMOND I’m so fortunate that I was exposed to and enjoyed this showman while sharing the planet with DLR the past 50 years.
Haven't seen this video in years, it's still resonates with me in how he can deliver you to another dimension with style and charisma and allow you to wish you were him while singing Yankee Rose at the top of your lungs into your hairbrush in the bathroom mirror and going into the 7 ELEVEN and ordering a bottle of anything and a glazed doughnut to go and the Indian looking at you like you are going crazy from the heat and you just Eat em and Smile. If you never did that then your not a real Diamond Dave fan
Saw Dave live twice in Spokane Wa.. BEST live shows I've ever seen, Once he came in above us on a surf board, the 2nd time he came in above us in a boxing ring... Amazing performer.
Dave is a legend in my heart and true artist. I grew up with him and the first album I bought I had to ride my bike to Licorice Pizza in Costa Mesa Calif. Then my first heart date his awesome voice landed me a hot chick. True musical artist who was great to grow up with. Awesome job Dave. One person here very grateful for your musical, metal, and video talent.
I absolutely LOVED the commentary, Mr. Roth. A true sign of a great person is the ability to make fun of themselves and others with brutal honesty. Well done! Thank you for the years of enjoyment your personality brought us!

'Yankee Rose' is an absolute gem and a classic rock banger !! After hearing this I never thought VH would ever record again lol .. Those guys Vai/Bisonette/Sheehan/DLR really made a kick ass band !! Thank You Dave
