i dont mean to be offtopic but does anyone know of a method to log back into an instagram account?
I stupidly forgot the password. I love any help you can offer me
@Bronson Alec Instablaster ;)
@Dominick Reginald I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process now.
Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
I was a MOPAR guy back in the day, But Chevelle's always have a place in my heart!
Funny my first new car was a Chevelle SS454 but now I'm liking MOPARS!!!
These guys and this channel is my favorite. Clicked immediately when saw they uploaded video
Putting the sheet metal back on my
Grandmother's 66 chevy two Nova, it take a lot of patience, & help that has
Your goals into mind, hell working by
Your self, four eyes better than two
Love Detroit muscle 😍
That's funny, my pawpaw gave me a a whole set of vices and clamps.
I received my 71 Cheville r. fender last week from = Jeggs = AMD. bottom of front of fender was rolled under 4 inches, right in the middle of the bodyline was a dent about 1/4 inch deep about the size of 1 1/2 of my hand... then 5 inches down , from the top of the sharp top edge there was a dent right on the edge next to the door , about 1/2 inch in and anout the size of my hand. I have been an auto body man since 73 full time ... this is the worst part , out of hundreds I have received new in a box. Still waiting on the L fender some time in June !!!!!!!! I start from the front because I 'm also welding in rear quarters last lining the deck last..
You guys have gotten a way better fender than I did. Or got to pick through them. I've done a bunch, and never seen one fit that easily. Love the show regardless. Lol
It soon I hit the lottery this Wednesday I’m gonna let this people build a 1969 Chevy nova with a lt5 ls motor “ I love this show 👍🏼💯👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Love Novas...My father owned several 😊
The Executioner novas are my dream cars 👍🏼
We find this new sheet metal laying around the shop, you can do it too!!
I Love y'all's show and channel! This was a good episode showing up normal folk how to remove the exhaust stud and I just wish you would have Clairified what size tap you used but outside of that, great job! Also with the fiberglass crack repair, Again, great job!
Size tap depends on size of stud. This why they didn't say.
Patience is key when removing a stud. Heat and penetrant oil couple bumps.. let it soak in.
Awesome 👍🏾 you guys always make it look easy lol good they are building new parts for old car's now 👍🏾👍🏾
Big lol when he made poor factory panel gap sound like a feature to reduce wind noise and provide door clearance - which meant he didn't have to fix it either...
Great tips. On exhaust studs l replace them with stainless steel studs
That is a Heavy Chevy hood at 6:49 , not a Cowl Induction hood. The hole for the Cowl Induction flapper is missing.
Love this channel
good as love these type of videos
Tommy runs the show
This background music at 12:17 reeeeeeeeally reminds me of "AC/DC - Play Ball" :D
I thought so to!
Not a cowl induction hood, why put the call outs on? Passed on the fake SS badges, which is good
Was going to post same thing
Grind the backside of any stuck thru bolts that you can get to; the rust will seize things harder if you do break it loose
Might have had a better chance to remove the stud if you heat it, and quench it with water rapidly 2 or 3 times, then move onto your Visegrips.
next time try poring water on the hot nut rapid cooling makes the stud shrink before the other metal
helps some times
I've was in the auto salvage business for 50 years and removed countless broken exhaust manifold bolts. You did that all wrong. I always heat the manifold cherry red keeping the heat off the stud. Any heat on the stud softens the metal and it will twist the broken stud just as you did. After I heat the manifold I then put the vice grips on the stud. I've never had to drill one out if there was enough to get ahold with the vice grips.
outstanding!!!
You know I'd like to see yall take something like a 2000's model s10 and modify it on a 4000 dollar budget including buying the vehicle. Small upgrades to the vortec. I think people would be amazed at what you could do to put a little pep in its step. (Side note) I love old muscle cars but would just like to see what yall would do to one of those. Thanks in advance
I just like to start off by saying I love this show and I would like to say if you guys ever want to do a charity project on one of my cars like my 04 marauder or my 95 Impala I would be honored 🙏 because I love you guys work.😁
Bummed that they didn’t show the quarter panel replacement.
lesson learned... use actual steel when rebuilding classic muscle, not fiberglass crap panels
Why didn't you trim out the metal before mounting ?
when removing that rusty old broken exhaust stud ,,, try putting a second pair of vice grips on forming a T handle ,,, if there 's enough stud sticking out this will make the job almost twice as easy and keep you from twisting it off like Tommy mentioned
Ya'll should do a ford maverick
When installing and aligning panels ALWAYS move back to front like they do in this video.
Door on my c10 is all out of alignment. Replaced hinges (spring was also broke) hoping to fix the alignment at that point.
Without removing fender... Not impossible but close to it.
It's better but the door still sits funny. Bottom back corner is sunk in almost 1/4".
I think maybe aftermarket door and or twisted.
This is OK wish there was more detail on how many screws/ bolts etc to remove & install Q panel location of all. Be nice if there was some detail on this sort of stuff for us non auto geeks/ first timers.
How about the music when they were putting on the front fender lol
Why cowl induction emblems on a non cowl induction hood? It looks a bit stupid!
so they can sell it for more to an uneducated buyer, or the guys workin it aren't real old chevy guys
@@SunsetSesh 😊58 year old chevy guy.
@@Frank-v8e1o Only on cars with cowl induction! Cowl induction is a intake feature that opens an air intake in the rear of the hood. ua-cam.com/video/6UH16Lj9TgY/v-deo.html
I'm a Ford guy from birth found on road dead .last but not least first on race day
Is shimming that fender a standard practice? Or would that be considered a jury-rigging?
Normal
Just stick half a dozen spacers under the guard👨🏭
Buy some Kroil penetrating oil comes from keno in laboratory’s in Tennessee
A person can buy a frame, sheet metal, and every other part required to build one of these cars brand new. If someone was to do that, how could they get a title on it?
@Morning star Garage Are you referring to the inner sheetmetal that the body panels attach to? If you are you can buy a new body in white for a chevelle, Camaro, tri five chevy, and 70's challenger.
@Morning star Garage Depending on how bad you want it the challenger and cuda were both built on the e-body platform. I know there are differences in some parts other than body panels. But maybe you could buy a new reproduction 70's challenger body (which I think is available now) and put cuda doors, hood, quarters, deck lid, taillight panel, and valances? I have a 1970 barracuda and by the time I'm done replacing body panels and and doing body work it doesn't make one of these new bodies look too bad price wise.
Vin tag from a wreck
Looked like it would have cleaned up nice before it was blasted
why not use left handed drill bits all the way
Where did the wheels come from?
You always use cutting oil on a tap
Bob Gunn you don’t need oil when tapping cast iron
@@roadweary5252 to pervert wear on the tap and better product you use cutting oil on a tap unless your putting threats on a block of paper
Espectacular🍻🍻🍻🍻👏👏👏
Last t-bird video please
If you move one side of the hood forward it screws up the whole ft end alignment. Teach it right or not at all.
Salute Nice Job Bro, ... Happy Holliday DEC 2019 : Power Nation*🌠 - Fitting New Body Panels On Classic Chevy MV : Bigolive Show By - Power Nation🌠 ....... Cheerio.🌠☁🚐☁🌠👍👍👍🌠🌟🌠.

How can i work for you guys?
Sort like building new car-not many original parts-witch were maybe not useable-my first car - blue 1969 SS CHEVELLE bought when got back from Vietnam second was a 1970 SS CHEVELLE
Price
Is there an email address where I can get in touch with you guys looking to have someone to build me a car.
Ohh very mor speang
Oil your tap.
Shoulda done a front end swap
You got new quarter panels and new floor so what's original on this car.✌😎
McBastard_Tv New fenders and new hood. Car looked solid when they first got it. I’d drive it with the OEM sheetmetal.
The ownership and vin#
😂🤣
O jobber panels don't fit the good that easy believe me I've yet to ever have a jobber panel fit good with tweeks some are so terrible they were either sent back or used to section and repair OEM damaged or rusted panel's. I've seen jobber doors with gaps up to a inch your best to do fix your OEM by all means necessary unless you like crap door jamb gaps and body lines that don't line up. I understand AMD fits Oka but on muscle cars I've bin told to stay the hell away from Dynacorn.
Thats why people who are perfectionists will scour the planet for old parts cars.
@@cuzz63 Believe me your better off repairing OEM body panels then going Tiwan Jobber crap. After all that work rebuilding the OEM body panels that fit and finish will be worth it. Some times ya these restamps fit to the point we're there they can be manipulated to OEM easily but most of the time not all the time but most of the time these Jobber panels fit like complete shit anyone with enough paint and body experience will agree. But if you're dead set on new panels don't scrap your old ones sell them there worth something even with rust or damage sometimes for that perfect fit and finish it takes building one good panel out of a couple used one's and go buy your new Tiwan Jobber crap. If you go Tiwan Jobber crap go AMD they still don't fit perfect but they fit alot better then the rest of that Jobber crap.
@@taylorh3930 I agree, last car I helped on we got a car that had a decent front end just for that. I didnt know who has the best aftermarket parts though, thanks for the info.
@@cuzz63 I just did cab corners for a guy he supplied the cab corners from rock auto they were over a inch to short and needed major work to make them work I typically get Keystone panels here in Saskatchewan Canada and they fit alright but if I was doing quarter's and other panels on a old muscle car iv bin told AMD are the best there not great like they are showing us here but there better then the rest but still not worthy in my opinion. You go through all that work spend all the money you want OEM if not better fit and finish when your done or what's the point. I had one guy bring me a 80s chev truck he told me it's all new panels its ready for paint so I look at it yup all new panels but I could stick my thumb into some of the body panel gaps and the body lines were off I told the guy the only way I'm interested in touching it is we source out OEM body panels and rebuild them. He claimed no bondo I told him bondo done CORRECTLY AND DONE RIGHT WILL OUT LAST THE PAINT. He disagreed and his truck from what I've bin told is still sitting in his garage un painted year's later I'm going to assume cause once a really body man See's the them gaps and missalinged body lines they say NOPE!
Yep, they don't match the doors and those shims look terrible.
