Hi my loves! I thought I would upload this last video me and my seester in law Sarah Ashley created back in the spring! We tried a zizyphus hair mask! Zizyphus is an herb that acts as a natural detergent that gently cleans the hair and provides anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties to the hair and scalp. The mucilage gently coats the hair strands providing a light waxy layer that seals in the moisture and adds volume to your hair! We also added other herbs like fenugreek and aloe! Hope you enjoy it! Be warned, we get crazy hahaha.

For your hair Sarah Marie-I think you were a blond as a child? So as the hair grows, as a you know your ends are your oldest hair-therefore it will color change in the sun/salt/etc. Mine changes color very similar to yours at my ends, though my skin tone is more like Sarah Ashley’s. I do color mine to cover grey, but it’s fun to see the similarities.
Sarah M-would you cut your hair at some point? Is there a ‘magic’ length that you both prefer?

I let a little secret of my own here for the folk who can't grow their hair past a certain length - that's your herb to prolong anagen phase of hair growth.

Ground leaves in water with some friction releases lather we strain then use.
It is so versatile we use it with henna and different hair masks and body wash too.

I would suggest you to do this during suntime, in the afternoon, at night it's too much as it's cold...and it's risky ...and u can wash it little early before sunset....to stay safe..
What did you add to the powder?
When you wash this mask out, do you use apple cider vinegar rinse too or just rinse out with water?
Do not use apple cider vinegar too often, as it causes premature graying of the hair

Another helpful vid! I definitely need to try a mask to thicken my hair. Covid made 50% of my hair fall out. Plus, the length pulls it down and makes it even thinner. I don't know which one will work better to thicken the strands.. this mask or henna.
Henna is good for thickening and strengthening hair. We Arabs always use it. Make sure to find a good type of it and do not overuse it and you will find a good result.

Generally if you have hair lose because of Covid, it will come back in 4-6months. Check some dermatologist talk about Covid hair lose on UA-cam

I use zizyphus as my regular shampoo it’s amazing my hair is shiny and very healthy , the only down side for me it loosen my curls , other then that I advise everyone to give it a try
Interesting🤔 People say it tightens your curls after using henna. I know henna loosens curls🤔
@@chelsieromero4874 sysiphus known as SIDR is different from Hanna it doesn’t color your hair ,it can be used as a shampoo or leave it as a conditioner by adding some oil or Amla powder ,for me it did loosen my curls you can always give it a try and see for your self
