Positive affirmations really, truly work. I've been saying them aloud almost every day for the past 6 months, and my whole life has changed for the better. Some very good ones are: I love being me and I respect who I am. I am sacred. I love myself. I love me, I love myself, and I love who I am and what I am. I am my own best friend, and I fully approve of myself on every level. Say these aloud for two minutes apiece every day (or each of them 10 times a day if you're short on time) and in only a few weeks you will see just how much better you feel about yourself, because they REALLY do work! :)

Can I add one point on how to be happy? Have an animal. My cat is the most important thing to me. I got her when I felt on the edge, really bad and she got me out on the surface again and I could never thank her enough for how much she's doing to me. She never leaves my side, we always sleep together, just next to my head, I spend time to feed her on my own, every bite and it makes me so happy to see her eat, she walks step by step behind me everywhere and I always know what she wants and how she feels. Just by looking at her I'm the happiest person. And the other thing is, I also love to spend time surrounded by nature and the best places like that for me are those that remind me of childhood. In a city you need to cope with so much stress, but everytime I have a chance, I go to my grandma. She lives in a really really small town, where almost everyone knows each other. The life there is just so slow, quiet and calming. Every place reminds me of my happiest memories. And just by spending time with her I'm so relaxed, nothing on my mind,no problems. It takes 3 minutes to get to the fields and meadows, and we just walk, talk and breathe the air. It's really beautiful in there. My recipe for happiness is my family and my cat. And I loved your video! You're my spirit animal :D

fun fact: If you're starting too feel an anxiety attack, breathe in for 4 seconds, hold your breathe for 7, and exhale for 8. really works. Also, look around the room you're in. pick out 4 things that are your favorite color, 3 things that are new, 2 that belong to you, and 1 that doesn't belong. I do, however, know that if your anxiety is similar to mine, the second method won't work in public or an unfamiliar place as well.
I have been going through an intense amount of anxiety and stress lately... I've been a follower for awhile and I was just thinking I wish you covered anxiety and depression! And then I stumbled across this gem! Love it! Thank you! I have been struggling with severe anxiety and depression, an auto immune disease, a large ovarian cyst, chronic back pain just to name a few, all the while working, communing (oi) and going to school full time online taking accelerated courses while my boyfriend of forever and a half is deployed. I am so eager to transition into a more holistic lifestyle for my well being and health because I am not ok with what these high levels of stress has done to my body and health these past few months. I already eat very healthy and I try to be conscious of products I use, etc but now I am going to being doing that even more so! You are so inspirational!

I am now going through anxiety & also puberty. My voice is changing, I'm growing a lot of pimples on my face, & I'm crying for no reason. Most of my anxiety is "social" anxiety, I can never talk to people & when I'm in a crowd of strangers, I just can't deal with it & I run away. Your videos really help me though, but I really want this anxiety & stress to stop. My parents are fighting more frequently & also thinking about a divorce, my brother & sister hate each other, & I just feel as if everyone is against me. I was raised in an atheist family, but then later, at the age of 9, became Catholic. My dad was raised in an atheist family, but my mother was raised in a Catholic family. A lot of the time my parents' families fight with each other over religion...& when I say "a lot", I mean, "all the time." I meditate & take good care of my body, I pray daily, I chew my food 20-50 times (depending on how solid the food is), & I exercise. With most of my free time, I spend writing short stories, watching UA-cam videos on health, & I practice playing Chess. I honestly know how it feels to have anxiety. All the UA-cam videos about people living with all different types of anxiety, I just thought, "Oh, these people are being too serious, anxiety can't be 'that' bad." Now, I'm going through it WHILE going through puberty. I'm started to have crushes for a lot of boys, but I have no idea why, I don't even know 99% of them. It's odd & confusing, mentally, & it just adds more stress. I want to even start wearing makeup, but my mom won't let me, she wears "zero" makeup, not even lipstick ("maybe" if we go out, but she never wears foundation & all that) but she used to wear a LOT in her late 20's, but then she told me, "When I started to wear makeup sweetheart, I felt very uncomfortable with my real face. I felt as if I could never be seen without makeup, that I was ugly, & 'my' own anxiety was stronger than ever. Now I feel free to be who I am, I just don't want you to feel the same way with your face." Please keep me in your prayers, I need all the help I can get. Thanks for reading
+Lampdee ♥◕ That's true when your mother says that anxiety goes stronger when you wear makeup. I had a friend who is like that and that situation is horrible. I would never want to be in her shoes. Me I don't wear makeup 'cause I love my face without it and I feel uncomfotable when I wear it. And I know how you feel about your crushes on boys. It happened to me since I was 6, so imagine!! But for me, it was my loophole compared to what was going wrong in other parts of my life. I wish the best for you, stay strong

Exercise is best for anxiety, it helps to reconnect the body and mind. Rocks are just rocks to me, though they are pretty to look at and cool to the touch. I love the beauty of the world that Jesus Christ created under Gods direction. And I love to read the Bible it really connects you to people long ago, who had trials and struggles just as we all do today. But knowing who you are and who created you brings peace into your soul.

what is more powerful? this beautiful creation we all enjoy or its Creator? we all know how much just this creation (through essential oils, teas, sound, massage, nature, animals) helps us find relaxation, imagine how much peace and love would be gifted when we directly approach our loving Creator! i love how Jesus says to take one day at a time. sometimes i experience one hour or one minute or just one present moment at a time. the future can be full of fear and the past full of guilt but trusting that God loves me and has forgiven me, will help me through all pain and fear and wants me to be happy has entirely changed and is changing my life. also there is no shame in seeking traditional western medicine as an aid for very intense anxiety or depression. it can be a wonderful temporary aid for individuals who are unable to calm down long enough to research a "non-medical" path to relaxation or Peace.

This is one of the best videos I´ve ever watched. Thank you! I´m a general practitioner and deeply believe in the importance of relaxation, stress calming and the power of good thoughts. During the studies of Medicine I´ve never learned that. I had to tought it myself the hard way while suffering from Burn out, depression and anxiety. Nowadays my patients always tell me how relaxed I am, but I tell you it is hard work every single day in my life with good thoughts (which don´t come naturally into my mind:), nutritious diet, yoga and meditiation. I am now 38 and all I can say ist: just be nice to yourself. Thank you for the great vid and please excuse if I have any gramatically imperfections. I am from Vienna/Europe and my first language is german.

Pretty much explaining the use of them and how exactly they work. I've always wondered because they look very interesting :) Thanks! :)
During crystal healing, the vibration of your body is attuning to the vibrational properties of the crystals, thus promoting balance and healing. For example, say that you have difficulties with loving yourself. A rose quartz will be the vibrational match of the mental dis-ease. You can place or hold the rose quartz crystal over your heart center and say a positive affirmation to shift the negative thought pattern. Hope this helps :)

Wow, I've never realized that some people live so far from the nature. I live in Norway where the nature (forest, mountains, fjords or sea) is all around and at least within 15 minutes biking range of all our biggest cities. I hope you will all have the possibility to experience nature on a daily basis in the future. The nature calms me down like nothing else :)
I ABSOLUTELY love this video. Its easy to lose track of taking care of ourselves mentally, i haven't stretched in DAYS ! and i can just feel my muscles tensing up, to day is my day off and i am relaxing, going to do some yoga and take the dogs for a nice long walk. fun fact: If you're starting too feel an anxiety attack, breathe in for 4 seconds, hold your breathe for 7, and exhale for 8. really works. Also, look around the room you're in. pick out 4 things that are your favorite color, 3 things that are new, 2 that belong to you, and 1 that doesn't belong. I do, however, know that if your anxiety is similar to mine, the second method won't work in public or an unfamiliar place as well.
I have been going through an intense amount of anxiety and stress lately... I've been a follower for awhile and I was just thinking I wish you covered anxiety and depression! And then I stumbled across this gem! Love it! Thank you! I have been struggling with severe anxiety and depression, an auto immune disease, a large ovarian cyst, chronic back pain just to name a few, all the while working, communing (oi) and going to school full time online taking accelerated courses while my boyfriend of forever and a half is deployed. I am so eager to transition into a more holistic lifestyle for my well being and health because I am not ok with what these high levels of stress has done to my body and health these past few months. I already eat very healthy and I try to be conscious of products I use, etc but now I am going to being doing that even more so! You are so inspirational!

I am now going through anxiety & also puberty. My voice is changing, I'm growing a lot of pimples on my face, & I'm crying for no reason. Most of my anxiety is "social" anxiety, I can never talk to people & when I'm in a crowd of strangers, I just can't deal with it & I run away.
Your videos really help me though, but I really want this anxiety & stress to stop. My parents are fighting more frequently & also thinking about a divorce, my brother & sister hate each other, & I just feel as if everyone is against me.
I was raised in an atheist family, but then later, at the age of 9, became Catholic. My dad was raised in an atheist family, but my mother was raised in a Catholic family. A lot of the time my parents' families fight with each other over religion...& when I say "a lot", I mean, "all the time."
I meditate & take good care of my body, I pray daily, I chew my food 20-50 times (depending on how solid the food is), & I exercise. With most of my free time, I spend writing short stories, watching UA-cam videos on health, & I practice playing Chess.
I honestly know how it feels to have anxiety. All the UA-cam videos about people living with all different types of anxiety, I just thought, "Oh, these people are being too serious, anxiety can't be 'that' bad."
Now, I'm going through it WHILE going through puberty. I'm started to have crushes for a lot of boys, but I have no idea why, I don't even know 99% of them. It's odd & confusing, mentally, & it just adds more stress.
I want to even start wearing makeup, but my mom won't let me, she wears "zero" makeup, not even lipstick ("maybe" if we go out, but she never wears foundation & all that) but she used to wear a LOT in her late 20's, but then she told me, "When I started to wear makeup sweetheart, I felt very uncomfortable with my real face. I felt as if I could never be seen without makeup, that I was ugly, & 'my' own anxiety was stronger than ever. Now I feel free to be who I am, I just don't want you to feel the same way with your face."
Please keep me in your prayers, I need all the help I can get.

+Lampdee ♥◕ That's true when your mother says that anxiety goes stronger when you wear makeup. I had a friend who is like that and that situation is horrible. I would never want to be in her shoes. Me I don't wear makeup 'cause I love my face without it and I feel uncomfotable when I wear it.
And I know how you feel about your crushes on boys. It happened to me since I was 6, so imagine!! But for me, it was my loophole compared to what was going wrong in other parts of my life. I wish the best for you, stay strong

Exercise is best for anxiety, it helps to reconnect the body and mind. Rocks are just rocks to me, though they are pretty to look at and cool to the touch. I love the beauty of the world that Jesus Christ created under Gods direction. And I love to read the Bible it really connects you to people long ago, who had trials and struggles just as we all do today. But knowing who you are and who created you brings peace into your soul.

what is more powerful? this beautiful creation we all enjoy or its Creator? we all know how much just this creation (through essential oils, teas, sound, massage, nature, animals) helps us find relaxation, imagine how much peace and love would be gifted when we directly approach our loving Creator! i love how Jesus says to take one day at a time. sometimes i experience one hour or one minute or just one present moment at a time. the future can be full of fear and the past full of guilt but trusting that God loves me and has forgiven me, will help me through all pain and fear and wants me to be happy has entirely changed and is changing my life. also there is no shame in seeking traditional western medicine as an aid for very intense anxiety or depression. it can be a wonderful temporary aid for individuals who are unable to calm down long enough to research a "non-medical" path to relaxation or Peace.
This is quite late but I love comments like these! I love Sarah and her videos but I do not agree with healing crystals and vibration. Only God can heal. But I do love crystals though! They are beautiful 😊 its amazing to see how beautiful God's creation is.

This is one of the best videos I´ve ever watched. Thank you! I´m a general practitioner and deeply believe in the importance of relaxation, stress calming and the power of good thoughts. During the studies of Medicine I´ve never learned that. I had to tought it myself the hard way while suffering from Burn out, depression and anxiety. Nowadays my patients always tell me how relaxed I am, but I tell you it is hard work every single day in my life with good thoughts (which don´t come naturally into my mind:), nutritious diet, yoga and meditiation. I am now 38 and all I can say ist: just be nice to yourself. Thank you for the great vid and please excuse if I have any gramatically imperfections. I am from Vienna/Europe and my first language is german.

During crystal healing, the vibration of your body is attuning to the vibrational properties of the crystals, thus promoting balance and healing. For example, say that you have difficulties with loving yourself. A rose quartz will be the vibrational match of the mental dis-ease. You can place or hold the rose quartz crystal over your heart center and say a positive affirmation to shift the negative thought pattern. Hope this helps :)

Wow, I've never realized that some people live so far from the nature. I live in Norway where the nature (forest, mountains, fjords or sea) is all around and at least within 15 minutes biking range of all our biggest cities. I hope you will all have the possibility to experience nature on a daily basis in the future. The nature calms me down like nothing else :)

Its easy to lose track of taking care of ourselves mentally, i haven't stretched in DAYS ! and i can just feel my muscles tensing up, to day is my day off and i am relaxing, going to do some yoga and take the dogs for a nice long walk.
