His first mistake was putting the dent remover in the center of the dent You want to work your way outside inward never start in the center.and just remember it will be a rinse and repeat cycle until dent is gone

Mostly from what I see from your video, when the puller tool breaks from the dent surface, the adhesive fails mostly from the puller tool surface, resulting in leaving the adhesive on the dent. As a surface scientist, I would suggest firstly you need all surfaces to be clean and free of grease. As the failure is more often on the puller surface I would recommend that you clean its surface with alcohol or even better to roughen it with 240 wet and dry emery grit paper, then wash it with water and finally an alcohol rinse and dry with a tissue dab. That should enhance the adhesion on the puller material. Also with any adhesive bonding, the glue thickness needs to be as thin as possible. When it becomes too thick you will then get adhesive failure, which generally is weaker as it fractures through the glue rather than one of the other 2 surfaces. ie the puller surface or the paint surface. So my advice to you is when the adhesive has been applied to the puller, press it hard onto the dent to encourage a thinner glue line.

There is points I agree on, but why remove the parts that there is good adhesion, and drill a hole or two in the pulling connector for the hot glue to mushroom thru. Viewed a couple of other attempts from various sources. All of them do the same thing. As is here persistence paid off.

I like tapping them out then sanding, filler and paint..of course depends on the size , small bullesye dents are best done like this..I think the slide hammer version is better. I've broke a few of these as they cant stand the strain of pulling to hard on a dent..Pro paintless removal isn't that expensive and they use tools that go behind the panels and do a very good job

We own a fiat Panda & a Landrover Discovery both had been subjected to collisions with Super Market Trollies and all 6 were pulled out successfully the only thing I did that they didn’t show was to warm the panels with a hair dryer I just thought correctly that a warmer panel would pull better & it did

WARNING IF USING THE HEAT GUN
If you plan on using the hot glue gun, be careful. Yesterday I worked with it plugged into the normal 230V home electric socket for less than an hour and it casually EXPLODED in my hand. Luckily I didn't get burned (I just had a black stain on my hand were the end of the gun was), but when the cable exploded, it got ripped off the case while the other end was still plugged into the electric socket, so I was milimeters away from being electrocuted. I can't reach the manufacturer, so you will probably see me under various videos warning others. Stay safe
