Honestly, I'm a big fan of the Fantastic 4 comics, and while these movies do have issues, they really are just good campy fun. I keep hearing they're going to bring the Fantastic 4 into the MCU and honestly, I'd be open to it happening, so long as they're actually done right. I wouldn't even be against Ioan Gruffudd returning as Reed or Michael Chiklis as Thing, they were both cast well and frankly, Gruffudd looks more like Reed NOW than he did THEN.
Can you please tell me how did Fantastic Four gets their powers in comics?

I got 2 questions for this movie:
1. How did Johnny exit the plane to fly out? wouldn't the air get sucked out?
2. During Reed's dancing, how does his shirt and pants stretch too? lol did he design very stretchy clothes?
Question 1: Only comercial jumbo jets fly about 30000 feet high. At this hight the air is so thin, they have to create a positive pressure inside the plain. So if you open the door it will suck out the air inside the plane and most likely do structural damage. But private jets fly at a lower altitude and every plane (jumbo jets too) can just fly low enough to actually open the doors. Thats why skydivers can open the doors on a plane to jump out. Or thats why some planes like some stunt planes dont even have a closed cockpit.
Question two:
I cant answer this with proof but i think this is a legit answer. He was able to recreate the sunwinds and reverse them to heal the thing. So i guess he can create clothes that imitate his force like the suits in the 1st movie. And he uses his stretching powers all the time in his everyday life. So it would make sense that creating such clothes are a priority for him.

Question 1 : Johnny goes out before the plane flies off. Passengers were taking their seats so the plane was still on the ground.
Question 2 : no idea
I like to think Reed has the clothes custom tailored with unstable molecules, the fabric that the FFs costumes are made of in the comics. The suits don't need them bc they're already infused with the cosmic rays/minor dosage of the Power Cosmic, but the clothes Reed seems to wear are made of said unstable molecules, undamagable and molecularly flexible molecules aligned just enough to be tangible while still being flexible in terms of molecular structure
When he says the bit about not seeing galactus with his helmet is literally the only part of the movie you're given a hint to it at with the shadow on the planet in the background lol

When I heard who they cast as Captain America, I was like "You mean the Human Douche from the Fantastic Four movies?!?!? But I'm glad they picked him now. This wasn't really an action/adventure movie.....tbh it was only a laugh track away from being a 90 minute sitcom. Great reaction as always!

Dunno if anyone's mentioned this but that Stan Lee cameo is actually based on a similar cameo from the comics! Back in 1965, in the issue where Reed and Sue get married, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, who co-created the characters, have a cameo appearance where they show up at the wedding reception but also get turned away. The issue ends with them walking off into the distance to go and start writing the next issue.

These movies are actually so fun, I watched them for the first time a few months ago, I wasn’t expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised, they’re super funny which I really enjoyed! Also Chris is so handsome as Johnny even more than when he plays Steve in my opinion 👀

This movie does have a few good moments. I do like the Stan Lee cameo. Him trying to get into Reed and Sue's wedding. And of course, Chris Evans. 😉 But the first one is still my favorite of the two.

Seb, you are my favorite movie reviewer and I get so entertained by your love for Chris Evans (I certainly can't blame you. He's such a beautiful man and a very talented actor). I'd like to suggest some other works of Chris' I think you would enjoy. You should definitely watch his films Cellular (a non-stop action thriller where Chris plays an unlikely hero), Playing It Cool (a raunchy rom-com), Gifted (a heartwarming drama where Chris plays an uncle to a child genius), The Red Sea Diving Resort (a heartwarming true-story drama where Chris plays a hero as usual) and his mini-series Defending Jacob (an intense drama where Chris plays a hot-shot lawyer who is a father of a boy who is accused of murder). They are all very good and he looks so gorgeous in all of them. (Of course, when doesn't he?) I also suggest Before We Go because it was his first try at directing. However, it's a little slow paced with no action because it's a romance drama which is typical because Chris is such a romantic at heart. I say give it a try because Chris is very handsome and charming in it but like I said, it's slow paced and basically a film about two people who have had their hearts broken in their previous relationships and they meet by chance and fall in love. The Losers is a really good film too but it's a collab film so Chris is a costar in it and not the main character but he is still seen a lot and his character is a hot nerdy tech and he's funny. Push is a good sci-fi film of his about young people with special powers but it's very complicated to understand but once you figure it out you can appreciate it and the special effects are pretty cool. These are all good films to check out of Chris' if you're looking for suggestions on what films of his to see.
