Not sure if you have tried Scale Finishes but the paints are awesome! Have never had any issues with them & so many colors too choose from. If you haven't done a review on them please do so you will love them.
You have to be one of the hardest working content providers on UA-cam. Most creators put out one video a week.
I have so much to get to that I figured I better get going
@@barbatosrex9473 your content is so full of useful stuff and no fluff I love it.
Great video as alway! 🤙🏻👍👍
When your talking about car harlequins most cost $1000 per 1litre so it does get expensive, but didnt stop me spraying an old nokia phone cover in it :)
Hello guys. I hope all of you are doing well.
A great video. I enjoy them all.
I could stare at that chameleon green for hours 👀👀
Great color
clear coats make them pop
Do you have any recommendations for decal safe top coats? Looking for something to run through an airbrush
that Blue and Green looks like skyline GTR midnight purple series
Would these paints work on matchbox and hot wheels?
Absolutely
Bought the Blue Chameleon based on this video for my R34 GT-R model (before I noticed they actually sell the 1-3 Midnight Purple series) and it turned out great. Bought a few more of their colors for my next couple models, as well. I posted a short video & short to show it off.
Great paint for sure
Those colours look fantastic... and that gloss job is lush!
I think Rex is secretly a paint collector and uses model kits as excuses to buy more paint! LOL
It's all about the supplies my friend
Do you have any of the discontinued prism splash paints? I have some but can’t find any instructions on how to use them
I'll be doing a video on them soon. I asked the company for the instructions and they're getting back to me
Love this channel, and all the info, thank you! Just curious what budget friendly airbrush set up you reccomend for a beginner? I typically paint lexan RC car bodies with Tamiya PS spray cans...
Well you can get a great brand name airbrush for $69. The Sparmax I tested recently at this price point was awesome. But are you talking about a $20 airbrush? If so then get a Master Airbrush. Also I recommend the $40 airbrush I tested a few months ago. See that one here

@@barbatosrex9473 thank you !
Im So Hurt, i cant find that Bronze Shatter paint. I guess its discontinued. I wish i had your bottle of it. 😫
What color would u use for the 89 Batmobile? Supposedly it’s a satin black with shifting mixture of blue and purple.
Omg tell that's a C1 restomod trans am I'm trying to get that kit. Can you help please. After reviewing this video, I was wrong. Sorry, I got kinda excited when I saw the car.
There have been reports of problems with getting orders from the US Splash Paints compared to the European provider. Did you have any issues?
Is tha 0.3mm on the air brush?
Yes, it's a 0.3mm
Thanks for the Videos !!!! Greetings from germany
Awesome video again!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Ricardo
That green over grey makes an amazing opal color
thank you for the review ,allways amazing
Hey just checking if you ever added the clear you use I couldn't find it in disc
I used KBS Diamond Clear. Only the gallon size is available on Amazon so I would look for a quart size elsewhere
I absolutely love these paints. Started using them a few months ago and I am really happy with the results. They are very easy to work with and I followed your method on how to apply them. Thanks for recommending these paints! I have placed several more orders since then, especially when they have sales. I had a few questions and they responded back to me in a short amount of time. Great customer service.
I’ve been thinking about trying these color shift paints. Perfect timing on your demo. Have you shot any of these paints on resin? I have a couple nice resin slot cars these colors would be great on. Maybe once primed it won’t matter.
Robert, awesome video! That Alien Chameleon is the color combo I was looking for when I emailed you about the Olds 442. Going to order up that and the KBS clear. I just purchased a Grex with all the needle/nozzle combos. I've had really good success so far on my last two car kits. Really looking forward to that Alien Chameleon on the 442! Thanks for the great content as always!
Amazing love those colours, your video's are always so useful.
I just love all your shelves
Thanks buddy, i love them too. I feel bad that I'm running out of room
@@barbatosrex9473 Yeah! Well, sell the two houses and buy a much bigger one 🤣
What's that amazing paint stirring vibrating machine you got there? Never seen that before
Right here my friend
ua-cam.com/video/IV5KcCHLVRY/v-deo.html
Anti static brush???
I screamed "Holy Sh#t" at my phone when u showed all those paints 🤤
I say that everyday I walk in the room 😉
Im restoring a 1974 Norton Commando 850 motorcycle in my garage, I really wish I could go bulk on the Blue color to paint it with that color.
That's a great bike, my dads bike of choice was a Triumph Bonneville. 1978 Bonneville was hiw favorite and his last bike. I ride a BMW
👋😎👍 nice
awesome
I love a nice set of color shift paint! gotta find the right model for them though
Yet another great video! Best channel on UA-cam for hobby people.
Thanks Tom, much appreciated
Can’t find the Prism line on their website!
discontinued
Green Chameleon looks so good on the car.
Did you have to thin the KBS Diamond Clear, if so what did you use?
Yes I thinned it. I use their own thinner but a viewer told me he uses lacquer thinner.
Hi, usually car paints shouldn't be given wet because attack plastic, that of the models however, not on the spoons. Splash specifically says that its primers can be given heavy hands. I've never tried these paints yet.
I like you said it makes you look like an "expert", my friend, you are an expert! A larger gun and a paint booth, you could be painting full size cars!
Video idea for ya, maybe test different putty's, sprue goo, which ones provide a smooth finish, and can be scribed without chipping!
Thank you for another great video. Already checked out the website and they have many of the colors I am looking for.
hmm outstanding paint for model cars. I also like that painting stands for the car as well. Colors are so nice and bright.
Nice review, that firebird came out very nice 👍🏼
sweet paints keep them coming
HI,
GREAT VIDZ,IVE ONLY BEEN APART OF THIS AIRBRUSH JOURNEY FOR AROUND A YEAR ,AND I HAVE COME ACROSS A NEW PAINT.
ITS AN ACRYLIC ENAMEL BY A COMPANY CALLED POLYVINE,SO IM CURIOUSE AS TO IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH ANY ACRYLIC ENAMELS AND IF YOU WOULD BE EXPERIMENTING WITH THEM AS KNOW IM KINDA CONFUSED AS TO WHAT TYPE OF THINNERS TO USE WITH THESE.👍
My personal paint line is an acrylic enamel. Mecha Empire. You can thin them with lacquer thinner. I use Mr Leveling Thinner
Very nice. Love that green.
Nice color shifts
I do have a question though. With all the paints you have, do you ever have an issue with them sitting for a long period of time?
So far only a few have gotten thick. For solvent paints I use Mr Replenisher
I checked the website they have to spray over black on all of the bottles in the pictures for the color shift paints
Yeah, it seems they've changed the labels throughout the years. I have like 4 different labels for them. They don't put the instructions on the jars, they are on the website for each color
Sir i have a question. If i properly thin the paints can i use a simple fine mist spray bottle to paint my kits or if theres a hand pump or compressor tank out there that i can use with a nice airbrush to paint my kits actually going for an airbrush along finding a working good electric compressor is quite hard here where i am i already returned 3 failed air compressors to paint my kits and my miniatures
Did you see my video last week on making your own spray cans? Maybe you can get that product where you are located
@@barbatosrex9473 i did search that unfortunately theres no product like that that's why i was think can u use a spray bottle like those small fine mist spray bottles to paint with cheap craft store paint for plastic models. Since these small spray botrle are easier to find
@@1996starter so sorry my friend but because I have never tried that I can say it will or won't work
